If i could do 0 stars I would because unfortunately , I cannot recommend Kira as a dog sitter. After my dog stayed in her care for 4 days, I discovered a substantial amount of fleas and had to deal with the resulting issue, including taking my dog to the vet and paying for treatment. I completely understand that fleas may not have been intentional or necessarily something she knowingly caused. However, when you take animals into your home, I believe it’s important to take appropriate precautions to prevent situations like this from happening, especially when caring for multiple animals. What was most disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. I attempted to communicate respectfully and work toward a fair resolution, including providing the veterinary bill, but Kira blocked me before I was able to send the invoice. That made it impossible to continue the conversation or even give her the opportunity to review the documentation. I’m sharing this review so other pet owners can make an informed decision when choosing someone to care for their pets.
Kira is great with Lola as always! Greatly appreciate her patience and care for Lola with her fear of thunderstorms. She always wraps Lola in a weighted blanket which helps Lola feel safe and secure!

1st time using Kira, very pleased, all went well and looking forward to usimg her in the future. Took great care of our dog.
Kira was an absolutely wonderful sitter! She was very communicative and provided photo updates on how Lola was doing. I especially appreciated the fact that she kept Lola wrapped up in a blanket and comfortable during the thunderstorms, as Lola is terrified of them. Additionally, I greatly appreciated her flexibility, as this was a last minute sitting request! I would definitely use her again without question!

Schedule
On weekdays I work from 9am-5pm but otherwise I have full time availability to play with your pups. Weekends and holiday stays aren’t an issue! Just send me a message and I’m happy to help!

A typical day
Visiting the park, beach or even a dip in the pool! Watching animals in true Florida fashion. High energy or a lazy boy I’m flexible for your pets needs.

- If your doggo needs any special accommodations, please let me know! If they do not enjoy car rides, please tell me in advance so I can avoid unnecessarily stressing your pet. For boarding, please ensure your pet is current on flea, tick and other recommended parasite prevention before entering my home. I take preventative measures and clean between stays, but boarding naturally involves some exposure to other animals and outdoor environments. I cannot guarantee that a pet will never encounter fleas, ticks or other parasites during or following a stay, and I am not responsible for related treatment or veterinary expenses. Please also let me know in advance about any allergies, medical conditions, medications, dietary restrictions, behavioral concerns, reactivity, aggression, escape tendencies or other special needs. Pet parents are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their pet before the stay, along with sufficient food, medication and necessary supplies. By booking with me, you acknowledge the normal risks associated with boarding and confirm that your pet is healthy and appropriately protected for their stay. Any veterinary expenses resulting from preexisting conditions, parasites, illness or issues that could not reasonably have been prevented by the sitter remain the responsibility of the pet parent.
