I have three kitties - Dodo (8y, Siberian, adopted in 2021), Rexi (2y, shorthair, adopted in 2024) and Vision (1y, shorthair, rescued in 2025). About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I am very patient and loving. I know everyone might say that, but I really do love animals 🥰 I have my dog Kota who’s been my best friend for 10 years now, he’s super sweet and friendly with other animals. I have a huge backyard with a pool where your furry friend can run and swim. I also work from home so they will always have someone there. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. My mornings start off with feeding my animals and going for a morning walk with the dogs. During my lunch hour that’s when I let the dogs outside to run around and swim for an hour, and then again once my work day is done. We also take potty breaks in between. When my friends and family leave their dogs with me I follow the same schedule and make sure the dogs get plenty of exercise, tired dogs are happy dogs :) since I’m home all day me and Kota can provide companionship all day long for your furry kid :) I live in a house with a huge fenced in yard and a pool. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. I’m always around to make sure that they’re not eating things they’re not supposed to.

I follow instructions that the owner would like, and supervise their fur-baby to keep them safe from eating things they shouldn't, staying within their allowed area, and most importantly, being able to be themselves and play or relax. I understand how to give medications, even to those pets that do not like taking them. I want to give the care that I would want my pets to have.
About: I am a high school teacher looking for work with animals! I have 2 dogs currently that love other dogs. I am active and love to take long walks and trips to the park with my own dogs. I am also very good with dogs with special needs - my chocolate lab currently takes 2 medications orally twice daily and an injection shot twice daily. Hoping to help out anyone who is in need of dog care. Being a teacher, I am very flexible with hours. I live on the southside of Jacksonville near Memorial Hospital so I am convenient to many places in town and I am willing to travel to areas just outside of Jacksonville as well. About: I’ve taken care of a few dogs in the past few months, I’ve also help master some of the basics training. I keep the pet entertained and read body language to respect boundaries! I have also volunteered at Jax humane society. My schedule is pretty flexible. I work from home so it’s not much of a hassle for me to make time for your fur baby! I have a long side walk to take long walks. I have a nice sided yard so they can run around and play. There will be other dogs around the area when we go on walks so they will have some type of interaction.

We were very nervous about leaving Scout, especially with a “stranger”. Well, Cindy didn’t feel like a stranger. Scout had an absolute blast. Cindy went above and beyond with our girl. Scout is a ball lover and apparently talked Cindy into playing ball a great deal. 😊. We could not have asked for better communication; we received daily updates which really put our minds at ease. We could have gone to a Rover pet sitter much closer to our home but Cindy’s reviews sold us. The reviews are not exaggerated - she is all that everyone before us has said and then some. “My 2 labs were loved and cared for as part of the family, by Maria, her child & husband AND Maria’s own wonderful dogs were so sweet and welcoming. I was sent pictures every day and I could tell my dogs were relaxed and spoiled with love. While my dogs were excited to see me when I picked them up, they were not frantic and panicked to leave (as has happened with past dog sitters). Maria “gets” animals and animal behavior, and her set up is great for dogs that are used to being family members.
