About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important. And a happy dog is much better at home to help you with your stress too 🥰 I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and becoming someone you can rely on when needed. This will be my full time job and only other bookings will affect the time availability. I am available 24/7 for regular bookings and understand some of our dedicated third shifters need check ins too! I care for your pets the way you want me to; however I am a force free believer. I will not use shock collars or prong collars for walking. For safety reasons I will not use retractable leashes either. I have plenty of spare harnesses and leashes for walking if needed. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I rescued Hazel 5 years ago and Sabbath 2 years ago from the shelter. They love other dogs and want to make friends. I am in school but I am off for all of December and most of January. Day to day I am fully available, with few exceptions. I have a fenced in backyard as well as my own dogs which will keep yours company. I can also crate if needed but I rarely have to use it for mine.

Dixie is on some daily medication which I had laid out directions for Em along with her eating schedule and everything went very smoothly! We have a second visit coming up again soon!”

About: I do not currently have a dog, but I have lived with plenty of dogs in the past! Some roommates had dogs. My most notable experience is with my mothers' 6yr old Goldendoodle, whom I no longer live with. She is a burst of energy, and well-mannered. I visit her to walk/play, take her on trips, and visit dog parks. I would love to meet your doggos and provide care during the week/weekends, or extended pet-sitting services! I am currently unemployed and looking to make this my full-time job! I am available always! A good timeframe for me is 8am-8pm, but I am willing to work outside these hours if needed! DOGS: I can do boarding, I own a home near Murray Hill, with a fenced backyard! I know lots of great walking spots & dog parks! I can also arrange play-dates with other dogs to keep them company during their stay, or in general! My cats are great with dogs, but I can keep them separate if needed. I can also come to you for feeding/playtime/walks/park days! CATS: I can board up to 2 individual cats in separate rooms within my home, (or 2 cats from same home in one room, etc.). For now, I'd like to avoid boarding cats freely throughout my home, as one of mine can be picky, and I would not want to cause additional stress for your kitty(ies)! But, I can set them up in their own room and check on them throughout the day, and/or let them roam while mine are separate. I can also come to you for feeding/playtime!
