I've had dogs in my life for over 20 years, since I was a kid, and they've always been part of my family! I've primarily owned Boxers and, more recently, a Doberman, giving me experience with large and energetic breeds. I also completed several weeks of professional training with both dogs to become a more knowledgeable and confident owner! In addition to raising my own dogs, I've assisted with the birth of a litter and helped care for newborn puppies, giving me experience through every stage of a dog's life! I'm comfortable with dogs of all personalities and energy levels and love keeping them active with playtime, neighborhood walks, and lots of attention. I'll care for your dog with the same patience, love, and dedication that I gave my own!

Richard was the best! He went above and beyond all of our expectations. We were a little bit nervous at first because this was our dog’s first stay away from us, but Richard eased all of our nerves! He surpassed all our expectations. Not only did he take amazing care of our dog as if he was his own, but also sent lots of photos/videos throughout the week so that we never felt too far away. He even noticed some allergy hotspots and gave him a soothing bath to help. We would highly recommend Richard!
Richard was so accommodating with our last minute boarding request. Our dogs felt right at home the moment we arrived. Lotssss of happy pictures and videos were also sent to us. 🐶🐶 enjoyed their stay and were not stressed at all.

Richard provided exceptional care for my sweet Rex whenever I traveled for work, and I always had complete peace of mind knowing Rex was in such loving, capable hands. Schedule
I work a Monday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM in the office and Fridays from home. Before and after work, I'll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks. On Fridays and weekends, I have even more flexibility to spend quality time playing, going for walks, and making sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run and play, along with a doggy door so they can let themselves out for potty breaks or some playtime whenever they want. There are also plenty of balls and toys to keep them entertained! Since I don't currently have any pets of my own, your dog will have my full attention in a calm, comfortable environment. If your dog is crate trained, I have a crate available and am happy to maintain their normal routine. Just let me know your dog's schedule, favorite activities, feeding routine, and any special instructions, and I'll do my best to keep everything as consistent as possible while you're away!
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of playtime in the backyard, potty breaks whenever they need them through the doggy door, neighborhood walks or runs (depending on their energy level and heat), and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I also like to reinforce good habits by practicing any commands or training cues your dog already knows, helping keep their skills sharp. If your dog enjoys being social, they're welcome to join me when spending time with friends so they can safely interact with new people. After all the fun, we'll wind down indoors with some cuddle time and a movie, making sure they feel relaxed, comfortable, and right at home!
