“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Hallie! She was incredibly attentive, thorough, kind, and comforting to both me and my cat kimchi! Kimchi loved her so much. I’d recommend Hallie to anyone in the Hudson Valley area!”

“It was such a great decision to have Gladys and Liani take care of our cats! They proved to be extremely responsive, reliable, and punctual. When there was a car accident along the way, Gladys even checked in to let us know they would be a few minutes late. What really made Gladys and Liani stand apart from other sitters was their enthusiasm. It didn't seem like taking care of pets is just a job -- it seems that they genuinely love animals. Separately, while others made the initial scheduling process overly complicated, it was really easy to arrange everything with Gladys. Gladys and Liani earned our highest recommendation!”

About: I grew up with a loved dog and spent countless joyful hours caring for, playing with and training her. In addition to growing up with a dog, I had the pleasure of intermittently watching my neighbors’ dogs for the past four years and each experience has deepened my love for our furry friends. You can trust that your pets will receive abundant love and attention while you’re away. Having navigated my own dog’s seizures, I’m well-equipped to handle any situation and comfortable administering medication if needed. I can clean up after animals in any regard and am comfortable bathing them if necessary. Your pets will be in compassionate and capable hands. Pet care is something I look forward too every day. Each day, I will dedicate specific times for walks, play and feeding, ensuring that your pets’ needs are fully met. While I work a full-time job, I am ready to accommodate my schedule during the week. I’m available for dog walking or dog sitting or cat sitting after 5 PM on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. On the weekends, I have even more flexibility, allowing for extended playtime and quality moments with your pets. I have no pets at home, creating a calm and comfortable environment for your pets. If it helps them feel more at ease, I can easily section off a room just for your dog or cat. I also have a long leash available, allowing for plenty of fun and exploration in a safe space. My goal is to provide a stress-free atmosphere for your pets. I’m more than happy to come to your home as well, ensuring they remain in a familiar setting that minimizes anxiety.

“Rhonda is the absolute best! My cat is skiddish of strangers, but he treats Rhonda as if she is one of the family and is even willing to sit on her lap and cuddle. She is very conscientious and extremely caring. Highly recommend!”

“Sophia is amazing! This was a last minute request, and not only was she able to take care of our pups, but she was over and above what I asked! She is also so flexible and a very good communicator. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our babies!”

About: My love for animals is truly unmatched. I cared for my husky from middle school until her passing, feeding, walking, and even giving her medicine from injections. I've also done the same for cats. That heads on experience taught me patience, responsibility, and deep compassion. I understand how much pets mean to their families and treat every animal like my own, whether it's a puppy or a senior needing special care. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily life. Whether it's feeding, walking, or apending time with animals, I truly enjoy every moment. I make sure pets feel safe, loved and well cared for, no matter what my day looks like. My schedule is flexible during the morning, so I'm able to give pets the attention and time they deserve throughout the day and week. In a client’s home, I make sure to keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine whether it’s feeding times, walks, play, or medication. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family. I give lots of love, attention, and gentle care, especially for pets who may be anxious when their owners are away. I always keep communication open with updates and photos so you feel at ease while you're away.

About: My passion in life has always been training and caring for animals. I have 17+ years of working for a guide dog organization, where I trained, evaluated, exercised, and cared for puppies and adult dogs, and taught families basic obedience and proper leash-handling skills. I am highly experienced in all areas of animal husbandry, including nail cutting, ear cleaning, administering oral medications, bathing, grooming, etc. I treat all animals as my family and I look forward to meeting and caring for your special fur babies. I am currently working remotely and part-time so I am fairly flexible to care for your pet(s) any day of the week between the hours of 10am and 8pm. I am not currently offering boarding services, but I will take care of your pets in your home with the utmost kindness and love. I respect each animal and will care for them according to the owner's instructions and guidance. They will be kept safe, receive a lot of affection/attention and have FUN!

“Our beloved fur-boy is Garrett, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky who loves Richie! Just recently, we went away for a 5-day trip and had to leave Garrett at home. Luckily, we met Richie and hired him to do drop-in visits, 3 times a day, for the entire time we were away. Richie made sure that Garrett was taken out for his potty breaks, took him for walks and provided the kind of service and care that he needed. Richie delivered beyond my expectations. He is very reliable, dependable and communicated really well, providing us with updates and feedbacks. From now onwards, he is my to-go-to person whenever we need a back up care for Garrett!”

About: Growing up, my very first chores were dog- related, so animal care has always been integral in my life. While I sadly no longer have any furry friends of my own, I am an animal person at heart. I’ve pet-sat for family, neighbors, friends, Rover clients, for pets of all breeds and sizes, and I’m very comfortable around any dogs. I grew up with 2 German-shorthaired pointers, and I was responsible for their care daily before and after school. As we (me and the dogs!) all got older, I was the primary caretaker of them in their senior years, so I’m very familiar with the struggles and ailments that come with elderly dogs. I am strong enough to lift most dogs if stairs are any issue- our dogs were around 60-70lbs. I have had roommates with cats who I’ve become very close with. I’ve always loved cats, so learning to care for them and earning their trust was so exciting. I’ve cared for the cats for a week’s time before, so would feel comfortable caring for cats as well. I love pet sitting- it’s nice to have a furry friend to visit since I lack one in my own family at the moment! Any client of mine gets all the pets and attention they could ever dream up. I am also very active, and I walk or run every day, so having a companion there is a bonus for us both! I look forward to your consideration, and if you have any questions about my experience or anything please let me know. I am currently between full-time jobs but keeping my calendar updated very frequently with my summer availability as I am hoping to pick up work either ongoing or on a one-time basis! Depending on the comfort of each pet, I always spend some time introducing myself and getting to know them at first. Spend some time petting them and getting them comfortable with my presence in their space, and next playing with them if they’re up for it. Once they know they can trust me, we’ll take the day ahead together and they’ll alternate resting, playing with toys, and walking outside. I also love to share photos with owners, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what we’re up to.

About: I started my pet journey growing up with dogs as a kid. I adopted a hissy adult cat in 2017 (my exact words were, “I’m looking for the most difficult, pain in the butt cat you have” and they told me they had the perfect one!). After she passed unexpectedly from cancer, I started volunteering and fostering with a local animal shelter. Since January 2023 I’ve had almost 100 fosters! One puppy, two adult dogs, and a whole bunch of cats and kittens! I also walk dogs at the shelter when I’m able. I am also certified in pet first aid and working towards my Vet Tech degree. Because of my volunteer work with the shelter, I have a lot of varied experience when it comes to working with dogs and cats of all kinds both behaviorally and medically, although my area of expertise lies with cats. I work from home so have a relatively flexible schedule. My favorite animals to help are kitties (both in age and at heart) who need a little TLC during the day or check-ins when their paw-parents are away. Because my kitty baby was a runner, I am very cautious when entering/exiting a home. I am also very cautious when it comes to sanitation, toxic food and substances, and animal body language. I understand the importance of providing animals with mental and physical stimulation and am always eager to provide them with enrichment.

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and have two English mastiffs myself who mean the absolute world to me. I also live on a property that includes 3 horses, 2 cats and a flock of chickens so animal care is something I am well versed in and do with a passion. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s high-energy pups that need lots of playtime or older dogs who just want a gentle stroll and some snuggles, I’m here to provide attentive, loving care that fits your dog’s unique personality and needs. I’ve cared for pets both in my home and in theirs, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and handling special routines or behaviors. I understand that every dog is different, and I always aim to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I treat every dog as if they were my own — with kindness, patience, and lots of affection. Whether you're going on vacation or just need a sitter for the day, you can count on me for dependable and loving care. I have an open schedule currently so there should be no issues with adhering to your pet care needs. Feel free to contact me with dates, times and locations and I am willing to come to you. I have a fenced in yard for my two Mastiffs. I am very familiar with kenneling dogs as well. My overall goal is to provide a safe environment filled with enrichment and care for your furry animal family members.

About: Over 25 years of walking neighbors dogs, to taking care of friends dogs while they’re moving or going on there honeymoons. Then learning how to watch, and how to care for all 3 canine’s that my brother has had as his partners in the NYPD which become family members. About a year ago I decided I wanted to rescue a dog, I started my search for a slightly older puppy 8-10 months & my search ended with 2 month old German Shepard husky mix, which I’ve trained myself and continue to every day! My schedule is very flexible and I’m able to schedule a service knowing I’m Fully present with your beloved family member, and not rushing . I have a fully fenced back yard. Where my dog Lucy loves to run and play. But, her favorite thing is taking walks. Where she really can do almost anything to surprise me. I’m lazer focused and prepared for her next move. For a clients dog I’d do the same, and treat your dog the way I’d expect mine to be treated

Sarah B.
“We met Sarah when we applied to Guiding Eyes for the Blind’s foster program. It was her job to pair us with a dog and train us (she had already trained the dog). Right from the beginning we hit it off with her and a relationship was formed based on friendship, love and trust. Linda is now going on 9, retired and adopted by us and in all that time the only person we leave her with is Sarah. Why because when we go away Linda loves to be with her and we have peace of mind knowing that our girl is in good hands. Because of her work at Guiding Eyes she has acquired a unique set of skills to work with dogs on all levels. She knows how to quickly evaluate a dog and bring out the best in them. In all the years we have known her she has shown true dedication for all the dogs that have been in her care. I always recommend her to my friends and I highly recommend her to work with your family.”

Lauren J.
“Max came home from his week with Lauren exhausted- but super happy and lots of tail wags. It was really nice to know that he was still getting lots of love and activity while we were gone, it put my mind at ease. It was like sending him to summer camp while I’m vacationing!”

Gabriella A.

She has watched my cat Marge many times and Marge is always one happy kitty even though I’m gone! If I have a choice, I’ll always pick Gabby to be my cat sitter!”
