About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and passion for pet care comes from learning pet care from my dad who is police dog trainer. About: I've owned dogs for the past 20 years, first an Australian Shephard, then a yellow Lab. I've also cared for the dogs of friends and family. After the death of my most recent guy, Petey, I decided that I want the companionship of dogs without the vet bills$ I'm now retired from teaching and have all the time in the world to sit, walk, transport and care for dogs. I can accept dogs during the day or night, 7 days a week. Your dogs will be in an open setting in my home. I have a fenced yard so they can play. I live near a park and a riverfront, so long walks can be taken through natural settings. I accept only one or two dogs at a time, depending on the personality and behaviour of the dogs. I have a van that can transport dog to wherever they need to go.

I work from home most days and run in the evening. Usually long distance runs are in the morning so not inconvenient for night stays. For my home, I have a very spacious dog park and closed in balcony. Also live close to the riverwalk for night walks. There is space in home for medium sized crates if necessary.

In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines.
