About: I’ve always had a dog in my home, and love any and all pups. My 10 year old dog recently passed. He was a one-dog household kind of guy, so my house feels very quiet without a pup in here. I’m also very used to caring for a dog who doesn’t always love other dogs. I work from home full time and have a large backyard. I can provide a minimum of 1 long walk each day, with frequent breaks out back. I have no other pets and no other people in my home. I have a fenced in yard and am here most of the time each day.

About: Hi, my name is Anna and I grew up fostering dogs and helping them find their forever homes. For the past 4 years of college I have been a pet sitter and dog walker in my spare time. I am now post grad and at the moment I cannot have a pet myself, so I would adore some time with any furry friend. I love any dog, I have a bit of experience with cats from a family I babysat for that had 3 cats but I am definitely open to either cat or dog care. I am happy to take long walks with the dogs or meet any kind of exercise goals you may have for them, I am very active. Currently unemployed post graduating college so complete availability while I am getting some online certifications and thinking about my next steps and job hunting. I am an early riser so anything even in the early morning is great. Lots of pets and love is a requirement. With a new dog I do let them come to me and read there energy before doing anything that could make them uncomfortable. About: Hi there! My name is Jamiah, but feel free to call me by my nickname, Mia! I started building my pet care business in 2017. Now in 2025, I work at a non profit as a Communications & Marketing Specialist. While I took time away from Rover to start my career, my heart is calling me back to my ultimate passion-providing high quality care and comfort for all furry friends, while meeting fantastic like-minded people along the way! My love for all animals is deeply immense. Thanks to my mother-I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as birds! And I was encouraged to always look out for animals and even saved a pregnant cat and raised a litter of kittens when I was 10 (I will share that story when we have the pleasure of meeting). With the animal lover trait being instilled in me, I take the utmost pride in being selected to look after yours. I currently have 1 dog (german shepherd) and 1 cat! I also take care of my mom’s dog (shepherd mix). I attended Conrad Schools of Science and chose the Animal Science career pathway for 3 years. Those 3 years provided me with the basic knowledge about all barn animals and pets. This experience enabled my passion for helping animals no matter how large or small. I’ve always taken the opportunity to volunteer and give back to shelters who need support. Faithful Friends became my home for a few summers as I walked dogs and cleaned countless litter pans. About: I have been in the animal field for 8+ years, currently a happy vet tech and former rover pet walker/sitter! I have grown up with animals my whole entire life since I could remember! (my family members are also hugeee animal lovers!) Through out my 8+ years in the animal field, I started off in the kennel assisting boarding pets (cats and dogs) I walked the dogs there 5x day, fed both the dogs and cats, administered oral medications as well as injectable medications as far as insulin, b12 injections, allergy shots, etc. and of course, always signed up for extra shifts to give those pups the most attention they deserved! I loved my job, this was comforting for me! While still working in a kennel, I began growing and started helping in grooming as well, in this occupation, I began doing dog and cat sitting on the side for the owners of the pets being boarded as their pets were becoming seniors and did better at home. About 3 years ago, I got a job offer at a pet clinic as a vet assistant, I took the offer and absolutely loved seeing and helping these pets in need. I love my job! My weekends or free time consist of volunteering in animal shelters or rescues. About: I’ve had my own dog for 15 years now. I have done favors for many friends/family/neighbors of mine helping them with their animal while away. I can go on daily walks with your dog. Weekends are my ideal availability, but I can accommodate through the week if necessary, even if it’s just to check in to make sure they have food and water. I have a fenced backyard for my older dog. We do go on walks daily when cognitively he is able too. I can crate the dog if necessary. I give baths monthly and always make sure to have treats for him. I now have a female pitbull, she’s a good girl. We walk daily, she gets monthly bullymake boxes since she loves to chew through toys. She gets lots of treats

About: I have taken care of all sorts of pets since I was a kid, but dogs and cats are what I am most used to. I have experience walking dogs, dog sitting in others homes(overnight too), and some experience caring for cats(cousins and friends). I have 3 golden retrievers at home in NY ranging from ages 1-8 and I care about them SO much, so I always want to ensure their safety. I feed them, walk them, and have endless playtime with them. About: Hi, I'm Lesley and lucky enough to have the ability to travel to where you live to take care of your animals and your home. I'm ready, willing, and able to help out with what you need and want for your animals. I have over two decades of experience in caring for pets -- grew up with 2 yellow labs. When I went off to college, it was the first time I experienced having the whole bed to myself. No hogging doggies.!! Since my 20s, I've had cats. Lately, I have taken care of dogs mostly -- all sizes and shapes from small Jack Russells to large pit bulls. Some with special needs and special diets and some super healthy and wanting a zillion walks. I've even taken care of a bunny (named Valentino who did tricks). No doubt about it: pets are our children and please be assured if your pets are in my care they will be well taken care of and well loved. And your home and rules respected. A bit about me: I worked as an office manager for tech startups in the Bay Area but recently decided to have more of a work-life balance and decided to travel for the past two years and pet sit at the same time -- combining both my loves. Now i am settled in Wilmington and ready to take care of your babies! I am now retired (how can that be!!) so I have flexibility and time to take care of pet sitting during the week and on weekends. I absolutely follow the rules of pet owners to ensure the safety of the animals I take care. If an emergency situation arises, I contact the owner(s) immediately. Communication is key.

About: I have a 4-year-old chihuahua-Shiba mix at home. I have good experience with dog of difference sizes and habits. Personally I walk my dog 3 times a day. I would do the same to guarantee they have enough activities every day and stay active. I will be in trolley square area for the whole December including Christmas and New year’s Eve. I would be available anytime through the whole week from Dec 18 to Dec 26. Apart from that, I’m available after 5pm during weekdays and 10am-6pm during weekends. I would make sure I know enough about the pet beforehand and learn their habits. Meanwhile, I’ll walk them at least 3 times a day and provide them enough food (of course treats too)
