About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young. Growing up with new foster puppies every week, I learned how to house-train young puppies and keep them out of trouble. I love spending time with pets and have really enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family! I just graduated from NC State University this May and am taking this summer off from work before beginning my PhD program this fall. About: I have had 5 dogs ranging in needs, size, and age (lab, chow chow, dachshund, blue heeler, and corgi). I have provided care to my own pets as well as family, friends, and neighbors for my entire life. I frequently volunteer at the SPCA where I take various dogs on walks and take care of them outside the shelter for a full day. I absolutely love all animals, especially dogs. I am dedicated to meeting all dogs different needs, providing undivided attention to all animals. I am open to provided any needed services and am fairly flexible. I am a current student at West Chester University so my schedule may vary by week (I will update my availability weekly!). I have a lot of free time that allows me to have unlimited time to take care of and love your furry friends!! I currently have 3 dogs, a bird, and a cat. One of my dogs is old (11 years old) so I am used to the medicine and senior routine that he requires. About: Hello! My name is Hope. Although I have been taking care of animals all my life, my experience really began almost four years ago, when I started taking animal/veterinary science classes in high school. Since then, I have taken care of hundreds of dogs, cats, exotics, and barn animals through my experience in school and working for a boarding facility. These animals include pets of many different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. These pets also include ones with special needs and/or medication. I have a veterinary assistant certification from the AVMA, and am studying veterinary technology in college. This past year, I have worked with hundreds of dogs and cats, and have gotten to see now more than ever the unique personalities that shine through every animal! I love animals, and every animal I care for feels like my own. I'm a part-time worker who is taking a semester off from college, so I have plenty of time for your pets! I'm available for pet care anytime, any day, with occasional exceptions. In my past four years of animal care, I have learned that attention to detail is extremely important when it comes to safety. I do everything in my power to never miss a health concern. To put your mind at ease, I will always be ready to give updates and photos so you can see how your furbaby is doing.
