“Victoria has been a lifesaver for my three dogs while I've been at work. Her exceptional care and attention to detail have made me feel at ease knowing they're in good hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Victoria for her dedication and love for animals.”

About: My name is Conner and I’m a college student at Winthrop University and a lifelong animal lover! caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, whether that meant helping my mom rescue and care for stray cats or looking after family pets over the years. More recently, I’ve been helping take care of my girlfriend’s dog, who has an autoimmune disease and requires extra attention, patience, and consistency with medications and daily routines. I’m a firm believer that every pet deserves personalized care and should be treated with as much love as I would give my own. Whether your pet needs a walk to burn off some energy, a drop-in-visit while you're away, or someone dependable to keep them company in the comfort of their own home, in your guy!! I’m currently a full time college student so I’m free all summer and I would be very flexible around my school schedule in the Fall and Spring! I am very confident in my ability to make friends with every pet! I’m very active and love a nice long walk but I’m also happy to chill on the couch or floor if you have a more laid back pet!

About: I have extensive dog sitting experience and a genuine love for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies, laid-back seniors, anxious dogs who need extra patience, and everything in between. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I always strive to create a calm, caring environment for them. I’m experienced with walks, feeding routines, playtime, crate routines, administering basic medications if needed, and giving dogs the attention and affection they deserve. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs and personality, whether that means lots of exercise and play or quiet companionship and reassurance. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel completely at ease. I work full-time, but I carefully plan pet care around my schedule to ensure every pet receives attentive, dependable care and plenty of love. I’m very organized with my routine and make time for walks, feeding schedules, playtime, check-ins, and quality attention before and after work, as well as throughout evenings and weekends. Because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals, pet sitting is something I intentionally make space for in my life — not something rushed or treated as an afterthought. I’m committed to making pets feel comfortable, cared for, and secure while keeping owners updated and reassured along the way. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and create a calm, comfortable environment while their owners are away. I understand that pets feel safest in familiar surroundings, so I focus on keeping their schedule consistent with feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of affection and attention. I’m respectful, responsible, and attentive while staying in someone’s home, and I treat both pets and the home with great care. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I’ve pet sat for my neighbors and family members for a few years. I used to pet sit for my aunt a lot and I loved it but she moved away, so I can’t pet sit for her anymore. I had so much fun, and I love spending time and caring for every animal. I look forward to meeting your amazing pets, and watching over them for you! I’m currently unemployed and have plenty of free time to check in and care for your pets. Im free the whole 7 days of the week :) I have 5 furry babies myself, 2 big dog fenced in the backyard and 3 kitties in the house, I also have 3 hermit crabs that I take care of. I have plenty of experience with all kinds of pets even a pig :)
“Excellent! Communication was great, and I always felt confident that my dogs were getting the attention and care they needed. He went above and beyond by even fixing my door handle while I was away. I came home to happy dogs. I highly recommend him and will definitely book with him again!”

“Erin was awesome!!!! She took such great care of our animals and was very communicative! She went above and beyond to make my animals feel safe and loved while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Chase was absolutely wonderful taking care of my cat during my vacation. He is a fantastic communicator and put me at ease about leaving my fur baby with him. Chase is so personable; my cat immediately took to him. I for sure will be using Chase in the future.”

“Bethany was amazing with my dogs! She was gentle, patient, and kept me updated every visit with photos and messages. My pups loved her right away, and I came home to happy, relaxed dogs. Definitely booking her again!”

“You did a great job! Even without much instruction, because I was in a rush, you were able to get the job done and the kitties were happy! Thanks so much, I would definitely book you again!”

About: I have had animals all my life, dogs, cats, rodents, and birds. I'm experienced with younger and older animals as well as giving medicines and other. I'm currently a college student and don't work so I have plenty of time to play with pups / kitties and come by for feedings and other. When pet sitting I typically will go by 2 to 3 times a day for feeding and play. I'm always careful around animals especially when they don't know me, I know some can take some time to warm up! I can do walks, play in house, or a backyard if allowed, and other general care.
About: I have lived on a farm and owned pets my whole life! I love animals and I'm very accustomed to taking care of them. I also occasionally house-sit and pet-sit for close friends and family! I am currently a part time college student in Lynchburg and I only have a residential class one day a week. I do work part time as a server so some days I might have to take care of your pet until I go to work in the afternoon and then return in the evening. Dog/house sitting works better for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals, which can make it tricky to keep other pets in the house.
“Briana was very gracious to accept a sitting schedule last min when a work event popped up suddenly. She took great care of my cat Lacey and let me know if any behavioral changes. It gave me peace of mind to know she was well attended to!”
“Kaylee was great! She is very communicative and respectful! My one fur baby was obsessed with her! My other one warms up slowly so she hid most of the time, but Kaylee was patient and let her have her space which I appreciated!!”

“Kristen was great!! Demo loved having her here for the night, and getting lots of love and attention! Thanks Kristen for everything, can’t wait to use you again and for some puppy play dates!”

About: I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and cats. I have an abundance of time for walking you dog, checking in on your cat and doing drop ins into your home. If you have a busy work schedule, need to take a vacation or just need a break, I can be there for you! I have plenty of time to care for your best friends and fur babies. I am available on short notice would spend time with them pet them and make sure they are well attended to. You could go on vacation or to work and not worry about a thing. You would be supplied with a lot of photos for your comfort and for your mind to be at ease. I will care for your pets just as I care for mine. I will play with them, love them, pet them, and make sure that they have plenty of food and water. All of their needs will be attended to and you can rest easy when they are being cared for by me. ❤️

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wintercrest
Always amazing and loving with the fur babies. The skittish kitty now comes out and asks for love and pets. I’ve hired Victoria for several trips and will continue to work with her as long as she’s in the business! Beautiful spirit and the furbabies love her.

Ben is the best. He is super flexible and always sends us the cutest photos of our crew while we’re away. Ben is also a person that really understands and considers animal behaviors - he requested to visit us again before we left to make sure our shepherd mix would remember him. And of course, she did! :) thanks for your help and consideration for our crew, Ben!

Erin was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my furbabies while I was on vacation. She followed all my instructions, kept me updated with messages and photos, and left my home clean and tidy. Even my shy cat, who usually hides from everyone, warmed up to her, which says a lot! I felt completely at ease knowing my cats were in such good hands. I will definitely use her services again and highly recommend her!

Aspen and Nathan did such a great job taking care of my dog and cat while we were out of town! They provided great updates and lots of pictures that let me know both animals were very happy and comfortable with them and put my mind at ease. We also had to change some of our plans due to the winter storm and they were so flexible and accommodating. We would definitely book with them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
