About: Lifelong animal lover with 7+ years caring for my own 2 dogs, along trusted experience with friends and family’s pets. I make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I’m currently working part-time, so I have a lot of availability throughout the week. I love morning walks because they get me up to start my day while also being active. As well as mid-day and evening walks allow me to take a break from any tasks and get outside in the sun while having some fun! Whether I’m visiting your home or walking your pup, my goal is to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable. For walks, I make they get plenty of fresh air, exercise, a potty break, and time to sniff and explore while keeping a close eye. During home visits, I’ll refresh their water, feed them, give potty breaks and spend quality time. I’ll also follow any instructions you leave for me and always treat your home with respect.

About: I have 10 years of experience working with pets in a variety of settings including animal shelters, veterinary offices, pet daycares, and as a pet sitter! I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, and can provide specialty care such as medications. I currently do not have a 9-5 so have a flexible M-F schedule! I usually do not have weekends available, but feel free to message and ask if it is a longer stay that would go over the weekend. I ensure to respect your pet and your home. I know it is difficult to trust people with your pets, and I promise to take the utmost care. I have a senior dog myself, and understand every pet is different and has their own needs.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog, AKA my brother, for 12 years from pup, to angel. I’ve never had any siblings so he was all I had. But I learned a lot about being compassionate towards animals through my short time with him. I believe I can provide the same love I gave to my little bro, to all dogs! Even though I don’t think I will get another dog, I still want that same love and joy I get with dogs! I am currently a nursing student looking for a good way to do what a love while earning some money. I have lecture on Wednesdays from 10:30am-1:30pm and clinicals from 2pm-11pm on Thursdays, other than that, my schedule is free. The house is usually never empty. I have a fenced yard built for a 100lb Weimaraner, so trust that it will hold your doggies. I always split meals 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Bathroom breaks happen always in the morning and before bed. More bathroom breaks can happen as needed. Dog walking usually happens in the mornings when before it gets hot. Playtime happens when requested by the doggies. Treats are available for good pups as needed.

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs of all sizes. I have owned 3 pitbulls so I for sure know how to handle dogs that size. I also have a park near my house that is very discrete where the dogs can come roam around. It is fenced and barely anyone ever goes to. I used to bring my dogs over there when I had them. I am available full time if needed. I work from home. I can do pick up & drop as well. Please let me know, it would be my pleasure! I care for the dog as if they are my own. I know animals can become family, just as mine have became family. I will go accordingly to your dogs schedules and make sure they have the best care.

About: Hi there! 👋 I’m an animal lover through and through! I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats and have always loved caring for them. Now, I have a pup of my own for my kids to grow up with — and we couldn’t imagine life without furry friends! 🐾 I’d love to help care for your pets as if they were my own — whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or just keeping them company while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your four-legged family member! ❤️ Pet care is my full-time focus at the moment, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and give both your pets and my children the attention they deserve. When caring for a client’s pet in their home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow your routine as closely as possible — from walks and feeding times to play and cuddles — so your pet feels right at home even when you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always keep you updated with pictures and messages for peace of mind.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Windsor. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Windsor. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
