About: Hi! I’m Ingrid, a mom of 4 boys ages 3-12 and a dog owner to a boy Beagle named Otis. I’ve had dogs all my life and love being with them and caring for them! (I even trained my Beagle myself from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. Overnight sleeping in crate only.

About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 2 year old and 5 year old and infant. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and barn cats. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, as well as worked in animal care. Professionally, i have experience as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler. I boarded dogs while attending college in Richmond, and took a break to focus on my career. Now that I have more free time I’d like to start up again as I absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash an Australian Shephard and Littles a mutt. Both love to play!! Cash is a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 14 and recently lost his sight, he’ll try and keep up with Cash but mostly he just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy in their late twenties, too many chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: Does it make you sad to leave your dog in a kennel while you are traveling? We love dogs and all kinds of pets and would love to take care of yours while you are traveling or busy working. We offer pet boarding and daycare for small to large sized dogs! We often go hiking and running with the dogs we watch and make sure they get their daily exercise. We promise to treat your pet as if it was our own and to make sure your pet gets plenty love and attention! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so the kids and I are always home and have lots of time to care for your pets! We love playing with the dogs and taking them on long walks. We have one friendly dog to keep your pets company. We also have two kids (6 and younger) that love dogs and are our little helpers.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child. I’ve been helping friends take care of their dogs since I was a teen! I’ve owned small and large dogs and love them all. I’ve attended multiple training courses during our dog’s puppy days. I currently stay home which gives me lots of time to spend with my 1 year old dachshund Ziggy. We go on daily walks and he has plenty of outside time in our fenced in yard! I currently am home during the day, I have 3 school aged children that keep me busy in the afternoon and evenings, who also love dogs! I have lots of time to give potty breaks and walks throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard, with room to run around. I also take my dog on a daily walk. Our dog is crate trained and sleeps near us in his crate. We also can provide a gated area in our kitchen area if a crate is not an option.

About: Though I’m a cat mom now, I’ve had dogs almost all my life. I’m a huge animal lover and am willing to pet sit most other animals as well. I treat my pets like family, and would take care of yours as if they were my own. I have had special needs pets in the past, so I feel both comfortable taking on clients with special needs pets and confident that I would give them the utmost in care. I also am comfortable in administering medicine both orally and through injection.
