About: I have a variety of experience with dogs of every age, breed, and temperament. A few years ago, I cared for my senior dog and helped him with mobility, comfort, and daily medical routines. Now, I’m caring for two young dogs (ages 2 & 3) that I’ve trained myself from when they were puppies. Along with personal experience, I have school-based veterinary training, including first aid, administering medications, and knowledge with health concerns. I also spent a year working as a professional dog walker at a boarding facility to learn professionalism. I cannot say enough good things about our pet sitter! Summer is a genuine animal lover and took excellent care of my two cats (Tigger & Hurricane) and my bearded dragon (Thorn) while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that my pets were in such capable hands. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about each animal’s individual needs. Tigger & Hurricane were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I returned, and Thorn received wonderful care as well—which can be especially important when caring for reptiles with specific feeding and habitat needs. I also appreciated the updates and communication throughout my trip. It was obvious that my pets were receiving lots of attention and care, and I never had to worry about how things were going at home.
