“Watching my cat clan is basically a full-time job, so I’m impressed! 😂 Alexis handled all of their different personalities, attitudes, and general cat chaos like a pro. I got updates, everyone was happy and well cared for, and my house was still standing when I got back — a win all around! I would absolutely book again and definitely recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have over 6 years of experience caring for pets. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping pets company. My background in caregiving has taught me to be patient, attentive, and dependable, especially when caring for pets with unique needs or routines. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would want for my own. I’m available for pet care primarily in the mornings and around midday, generally between 9 AM and 12 PM. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine and provide walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship while you’re away. I provide pet care exclusively in your home, where your pets can stay comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I’m respectful of your space and will follow your instructions carefully. I’ll make sure your pets receive attentive, loving care and are safe and comfortable throughout each visit.

“Alexis was a great caregiver for my sweet, old cat. On the first day, when Kippy did not appear to get her food and meds, Alexis searched and found her hiding place, thus ensuring Kippy got what she needed that morning. Alexis’s kind and gentle demeanor soon made Kippy lose her fear and she began greeting Alexis at the door. I would definitely hope Alexis was available the next time I need Killy care.”

About: Ive had pets of my own and work with animals through vet hospital. I love cuddling, playing, and going on walks with pets. I am open to assist with giving medication for doggies who need extra care. I will happily send over pics of your pet during visits. I'm currently part time at a pet hospital. Availability can vary, just message me and we can try to work something out. On days I work usually I'm available in the evenings. I can offer boarding if needed. I do not have a fenced yard, I like to take pets out on walks for potty multiple times a day. I have 1 dog ( Wilbur ) + 2 cats (Phineas and Senu ). Wilbur is very friendly and would love the company of your pet. He is a tree walker coonhound Cats can be separated if needed when boarding your pet. For check ins - I can come over to make sure your pets have their food + water set. If meds need to be given I'm open to doing that. I'll also spend some time with them to offer some love and make sure they have some time outdoors. If owner allows I can take your dog out hiking / extended walks or to a park.

I hold bachelors degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and I’m pursuing my long term goal of becoming a DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I joined rover as a way to make additional income and prevent burnout by picking extra nursing shifts. I have firsthand experience caring for dogs, having a golden doodle myself. I understand the responsibility that comes with being entrusted with a pet. From daily walks and feeding schedules to playing, companionship, and providing a safe environment, I treat every pet with the same attention and care as I would show my dog. I work as a nurse on a predictable schedule, which allows me to plan pet care around my days off. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. I have a golden doodle and understand the importance of regular walks, exercise, attention, and maintaining a pets routine. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine for every pet. As a nurse and dog owner, I’m dependable, attentive, and detail oriented. I follow all owner instructions, provide plenty of care and attention, and keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.

About: With over seven years of professional experience in animal care, I’m passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care for every pet I meet. My background includes managing a busy doggy daycare, working as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary hospital, earning my PetSmart Pet Care Certification, and providing dependable in-home pet sitting for families. I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable administering medications and recognizing signs that may require extra attention. Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, overnight care in your home, daily walks, playtime, or extra TLC, you can feel confident knowing they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets. Whether you need weekday visits, weekend care, overnight stays, or last-minute drop-ins, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I believe pets thrive when they receive consistent care and attention, and I have the time to make sure they get exactly that while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or welcoming them into mine, I’ll make sure they receive the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own pets. I understand that every animal has unique routines, preferences, and needs, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel most comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, provide plenty of updates with photos, and make sure your home is left just as I found it. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll have a clean, safe, and calm environment with constant supervision, plenty of enrichment, exercise, fresh water, and lots of affection. With my background as a doggy daycare manager, veterinary assistant, and professional pet sitter, I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behavior or health, administering medications when needed, and responding calmly in unexpected situations. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with both you and your pet, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, experienced hands while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of many different dogs, I am comfortable with all breeds and ages. Ive had experience with every energetic puppies, as well as low energy older dogs, small dogs that are all over the place and loud ones. I've lived in a household with pets basically my while life, aside from dogs I have experience with cats, lizards, small animals (specifically rats and hamsters), and parrots. I am very passionate with them all, love spending time with them. My house and neighborhood is great and safe for walking pets, not many cars come through and there are not that many dogs around, so accidents would not happen. And my house is large with a lot of large empty spaces so the dog wouldnt have a chance to be destructive. Most of the time I would be available, I spend most of my time at home, and I do college online. Occasionally I might leave for a day, and in October I'm going on a trip 5-17. My house is very pet friendly, I currently have rats but they have their own room to which I usually keep the door closed. A large part of the house has a lot of empty spaces and the main living room currently doesn't have much furniture, but still a lot of space to run around. It does have stairs. Our neighborhood is a great place to walk around, not that many cars or people walk around, so there would be no accidents. Unfortunately my back/front yard is not fenced, so the dog would need to stay on a leash. I will also listen and follow all the instructions provided by you in your home, I respect other people's spaces and privacy.

About: Pets have been part of my family my entire life! I currently have three fur babies—a Siberian Husky, a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, and a cat—and I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. As a longtime Husky owner, I have experience with energetic and reactive dogs, as well as senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m also comfortable administering medications. Whether your pup loves long nature walks, trips to the dog park, or just some extra attention and companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. 🐕🐾❤️ Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine! With two dogs and a cat of my own, I’m used to making time for walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I enjoy being outdoors and going on walks, so adding another furry friend to my routine comes naturally. I’m flexible, dependable, and happy to work with your pet’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in their home, I respect their space and follow all instructions provided by their owner, including feeding, walking, medication, and daily routines. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure before every walk or visit. I’m comfortable with pets of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities, including reactive and senior pets. I treat every pet with patience, love, and attention, just as I would my own.

About: Growing up around animals gave me a lifelong love and appreciation for them, especially dogs. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals with different personalities, routines, ages, and care needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have several years of experience providing pet care for families through pet sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I also volunteer with a local animal shelter and have assisted with animal care in my community. I understand that every pet is different. Some are energetic and social, while others may be shy, anxious, older, or simply happiest following their familiar routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting and can accommodate both recurring and occasional care. I do my best to maintain each pet’s normal feeding, walking, playtime, and bedtime routine so they experience as little disruption as possible while their family is away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, household rules, and security. I respect your home and keep your pet’s environment clean and comfortable. I also provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. If I notice any unusual behavior or changes in your pet’s well-being, I will communicate with you promptly.

We are so thankful for Jenny. She is absolutely wonderful with our 3 cats. She makes sure she is very thorough in her report cards after each visit making our time away so much less stressed when we know our girls are in good hands. She is always making sure to follow any needs each pet has, diet or otherwise and makes sure to ask questions as necessary. Thank you Jenny! 🐾

I cannot say enough good things about our pet sitter! Summer is a genuine animal lover and took excellent care of my two cats (Tigger & Hurricane) and my bearded dragon (Thorn) while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that my pets were in such capable hands. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about each animal’s individual needs. Tigger & Hurricane were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I returned, and Thorn received wonderful care as well—which can be especially important when caring for reptiles with specific feeding and habitat needs. I also appreciated the updates and communication throughout my trip. It was obvious that my pets were receiving lots of attention and care, and I never had to worry about how things were going at home. Summer also has a wonderful, friendly personality, and I would absolutely trust her with my pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and knowledgeable pet sitter. Five stars all the way!

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
