“We usually have family take care of our dogs but being new to the area, we no longer have that option. We weren’t comfortable with leaving our dogs in a kennel so we found Laura. Not only was she affordable, but she came to our place so our dogs can stay where they are comfortable. Laura was great and we loved the updates and pictures. She was even able to accommodate another night stay when we decided to wait a day to come home. Will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

About: I have a 5 year old husky and pitbull mixed dog named xena as well as a 9 year Old cat named Lilly! I was raised around animals (dogs and cats) we would take litters and rehabilitate them until they were ready to go to their forever homes and we would also rescue cats and dogs and rehabilitate them as well! I am looking to be a full time pet care provider! I only have to take care of my dog as well! I look forward to giving you all the assistance and helping as much as I can! About: i’ve always had a passion for animals. i try to make sure all animals are happy and loved by me especially when taking care of them. i never want an animal to feel sad or alone and it pains me to see all these stray cats and dogs around knowing that i can’t take them all in. I recently graduated from Coastal Carolina from the veterinary assistant program, i plan on fulfilling my dreams on becoming a veterinarian and hopefully one day i can save the lives of animals. About: Hi, all! Years of living with and caring for pets and working as a veterinary assistant has led me to be attentive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, so loving to any and all animals. I currently care for a pup, cat and ducks in my life. I intend to care for your pet as if it were my own! I am easy-going, flexible and willing to abide by any reasonable requests in care-taking. This won’t be considered “work” for me. It’s a bonus for the joy of spending time with and caring for animals and helping out pet parents as well :) I hope to meet you and your pet soon! Krista E. As far as my schedule, I am completely open during the daytime. I work evening shifts five days a week, but my schedule changes weekly. For walking: 1-2 walks a day from the hours of 8-3. I can also do night walks on days that I work, outside of the hours of 3-10ish, depending on the day. If I am off, I can walk at any time in the day or evening. I am willing to make multiple visits in a day. For House Drop-Ins: Similar to above, the evening times may vary. For House Sitting: I receive my schedule weekly, so I am available for overnight at least twice a week. However, if consecutive days are needed, I will be available for morning and afternoon care, but will have to leave for work and return afterward at night. Again, this time varies, so it will be either 3-8:30/9ish that I am gone, or 4-10/11ish. I can understand if this is an issue, but am willing to walk during the day, feed, and let out for a potty break as soon as I am able. I do not accept pets in my home because of the other animals already here, but as far as in yours, I am clean, courteous, quiet, respectful, and most importantly, there to keep your pet well-cared for, entertained, and at ease.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. I grew up in a homeschooled household with a dog and three cats, so being hands-on with pet care was just part of everyday life. As a kid, I was known around my neighborhood for walking dogs, pet sitting, and helping out wherever I could—even mowing lawns for neighbors—so responsibility and reliability were instilled in me early on. I also spent time working on an alpaca farm, which gave me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. In my adult life, I regularly help care for my sister’s three dogs, and since she’s a veterinarian, I’ve learned a lot about animal behavior, health, and proper care through her. I’m also very involved with my two nephews, so patience and attentiveness come naturally to me. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for our family dog, Toby, in his later years. On a weekly basis, I regularly help care for my sister’s dogs, so I’m already in the rhythm of walking, feeding, and spending quality time with pets. I also keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they need without rushing. Overall, I enjoy having pet care as part of my routine—it keeps me active, present, and doing something I genuinely enjoy. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences—so your pet feels safe and stress-free in their own environment. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship, not just the basics. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I provide a clean, calm, and safe environment where they can relax. I keep a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks, and I’m always attentive to their behavior and needs. I make sure they feel included and comfortable, whether that means active play or just relaxing nearby. No matter the setting, my priority is making sure each pet feels secure, cared for, and happy while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs and other animals since I was in elementary school. I have rescued three dogs that have been of various sizes, temperaments, and have had various needs. They have all been successful at going past expectations and have been remarkable fur babies! I'm currently working from home and have a lot of free time to spend with your sweet fur baby as needed.
