As a first time Rover user, in fact the first time ever leaving my 9-year old pup with a stranger, I was incredibly nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Our dog hurt his leg two days before we were to leave on a eight day cruise and she took great care of him, giving him his medicine and making sure he didn’t jump, go down/up stairs or play too hard which anyone knows is hard in itself with a dog. She offered to take him to the vet if he got worse and kept us updated every day. They are amazing honestly and we definitely will be using her going forward. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! For doggy daycare my hours are 8am-4pm. if you are unable to pick your dog up before 4:00, then they can be crated during 4-6:30pm. Or, I can drop them off by 4. Weekends I do not work so drop offs at 8am and pick ups are flexible. I can provide play time with my dog inside the home and outside in my yard. They will be supervised at all times by myself or my spouse. They can be let out hourly or more. Can go to the dog park in my neighborhood right behind my house during my lunch break and when I get off at 4. must be friendly with other dogs because my dog will be present! during the summer I only work 1 day/week so very open! I will not allow dogs out without a leash if there’s no fence, and I will always listen to an owners instructions on how to best care for their fur babies. in my home, I have a fenced in backyard. About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. I’ve had several rodents and reptiles, and cared for my friends and family birds as well. Trained puppies and kittens to use the potty and more. Also helped with a few farm animals too. I work only 20-25hrs a week, so I’ll always be home within 6hours or less. Outside of work, I’m home hanging out with my kids and furbabies. I have two e.s.a. Certified cats who tend to hide away when someone new is here. I’ve had them both since babies (13y & 3y). Keep things clean, organized, healthy, I had a cleaning company too. I don’t have crates on hand or an outside fence but I have a huge yard, the neighbor has a spayed female American bulldog, very friendly. There are farm animals next door. However, I do appreciate being where the pet is comfortable and knows its space.

About: I have watched many different breeds of dogs since I was 16. Small dogs, big dogs, puppies, seniors. I am now 19 and my love for dogs only grows more and more every time I meet a new one! About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. About: I have taken care of animals for the majority of my life whether that be nursing stray kittens back to health, assembling special meals for my dogs specific health requirements, or pet and house sitting for friends and family members so they could take a well needed vacation. Our friendly bull terrier, Lucy, will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if needed. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.
