Highly-rated overnight sitters - Willard
“Polly loves her time with Tasha and her wonderful family. She likes playing in the big, fenced-in, back yard and playing with other pups and humans during her stay. I love getting the frequent updates and pictures while I am away. I know Polly is taken well care of and loved by Tasha and her family. I recommend 100%.”

“Leaving Mac with Sarah and her family was a true blessing for me and Mac both! The love and acceptance of mac was unconditional love ! You can't find anyone else that gives the attention, affection and love they gave!! I love Sarah and will most definitely have her watch him again ! 💝🤗😊”

“Gabrielle (and her family) were nothing short of amazing with our Coco. Fantastic communication and lots of pics to see how happy our little girl was in her care. We are looking forward to lots of visits in the future.”

“Diane stood out to me because of her wonderful reviews and the fact that she had multiple repeat family's that trusted her with their dogs. This was the first time anyone would be taking care of a dog of mine outside of family or friends so I was worried to find the right person and unsure about a stranger taking care of my "child" but when I met Diane I felt so comfortable that my Phoebe was in safe hands and that she understood her needs and would care for her like a member of her own family. It's clear immediately how much Diane loves / has a passion for dogs and is a very caring / welcoming person. This was also the first time I would be away from my girl so I appreciated so much the frequent updates from Diane and that Diane took the time to understand Phoebe's personality and I felt she listened to my concerns and reassured me about anything and I knew my Phoebe was in great hands and also having such a fun time. Thank you to Diane for taking such good care of my girl and welcoming her into your home for the weekend .”

“This was our second stay with Jordan, and I realized I never left a review after the first one. However, I definitely should have! As a first time Rover user, in fact the first time ever leaving my 9-year old pup with a stranger, I was incredibly nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Jordan completely exceeded my expectations. He sent thoughtful updates throughout the stay with a plethora of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that my dog was being loved and well cared for. Not only is Jordan amazing, but his family is so kind and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about the dogs they watch and treat them like part of the family. Knowing my pup was safe, happy, and surrounded by so much love made all the difference. I can't thank Jordan enough for taking such great care of my dog, Lily. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and communicative, I highly recommend booking with him. We'll definitely be back!”

“Danielle did an awesome job caring for my fur babies. They were right at home when i picked them up. She kept me posted daily, administered my oldest dog’s med, and allowed me to bring things from home to keep them comfy. We will definitely be returning again for her services.”

“Another great stay at Kelly’s! Despite the rain, she was able to keep Dune busy and send me lots of photo updates which I appreciate! Would highly recommend Kelly!”

“Jennifer took great care of my very active foster dog over Thanksgiving. She sent updates with pictures regularly. It was clear that Ramsey felt comfortable with Jennifer and her family and was well cared for.”

“Raquel is absolutely amazing! She has plenty of space for the pups to run, play, and be happy. What I appreciated most was how she kept me updated with pictures. I loved seeing my babies having such a great time. She made me feel completely comfortable and cared for, and she treated my dogs as if they were her own. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.”

“Scottie had such a good time with Natalie. He was able to play a ton and being able to free roam definitely made him feel right at home. Natalie was also super responsive and flexible when I had to modify my booking with her.”

“Savannah was great! She is so sweet and good with animals. She gave my high energy Australian Shepherd puppy lots of enrichment, and he had a lot of fun. She also gave my cat a safe quiet space so she was comfortable during her stay as well. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of updates and photos, so I knew my animals were in good hands. I would highly recommend Savannah, and I would definitely book again!”

“Rebecca and Pippa were great with my pup Harlow! She felt comfortable as soon as she met both of them. Rebecca was wonderful about being flexible with our changing travel plans and was very communicative and responsive. Would definitely recommend and use again! Thanks Rebecca and Pippa! :)”

“I was seeking reputable drop-in service for my cats on the internet and came across the Rover.com website, which was extremely easy to use, offering 5 star services. That's when I reached out to Allie. Upon meeting her, I liked her from the first moment. She was both professional and personable, and my discernment was that she would be completely trustworthy. It was evident from the start that she is a "natural" with kitty cats. My husband and I were completely at ease with having Allie drop-in on our "fur babies", allowing us to enjoy our family vacation. We truly appreciated all the updates she gave us on our pets, including the photos and videos. She went above and beyond to ensure all of our kitties' needs were met. I most definitely will call on Addie again when we have to be out of town.”

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was 3 and I am currently going to school for my Bachelors in Animal Science, therefore I would love to express my love for animals with caring for yours! I am a full time student at NC State but I am graduating in the fall so my schedule is really open right now where I can add pet visits either between classes or after classes. I will ensure that all instructions given to me will be followed completely and if I have an issue regarding the care of the pet(s) I will reach out to the owner immediately.

“Kate taking care of our cat allowed us to actually enjoy our nearly weeklong trip. Our cat has some difficult health issues, a finicky diet, and loves attention. We were so grateful for Kate’s updates, where it was so clear our cat was happy, healthy, and very well-taken care of. We’ve had several pet sitters over the years, and Kate was the best by far!”

“DeAnna checked in on our cats while we were out of town, and she was fantastic. She was reliable, responsible and courteous. We felt very comfortable with our cats being under her care and would absolutely love to reach out to her again in the future.”

“Great sitter for our two kitties for a week, when our other sitter wasn’t available. Trustworthy and would book again. Courtney was responsive, took pictures of the kitties, and was not hesitant to ask questions while we were gone. She had no issues using our technical alarm system. We appreciated that she brought in our mail without being asked (we never expect our pet sitter to do this, but always appreciate it) and she was accommodating to our change in travel schedule. Thanks Courtney!”

About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!
About: I love animals, I am currently going to school to become a Marine Veterinarian. I also did an Internship at an Animal Hospital for about a year and a half. I have personally been taking care of animals since I was about 14. I had a husky for almost 12 years, I had to give her baths, take her on walks, and feed her. I now have a Shih Tzu and for her, I have to take her to her hair cut appointments, her vet appointments, give her baths twice a week, walk her and feed her. I also took care of my Grandma’s cat and I had to take her to hair cut appointments, feed her, and clean her litter box. I am hardworking and also put 110% into everything I do. I am very reliable, trustworthy and I make sure everything I do is done correctly. I have also watched way more pets than what rover says I have, and about 95% of the people I dog sit for do reach back out to me to see if I can watch their pet again! I am a full time student! I havs a part-time job back in august because I wanted to take a break from pet sitting since I had been doing it continuously for so long. I still pet sit for my old clients, but am now ready to take on some new ones! I’ve realized I want to work my way back into pet sitting so I can quit my part-time job! I would prioritize the visits needed over my current job for your animal! :) I really do miss pet sitting and hope to be able to get back into it! The pets I have watched, if it’s at the owners house, or mine, they always seem very happy, and the owners are always pleased when they arrive back home! I am very observant when it comes to watching animals, so I try to provide the best care I can while they are with me!

I will absolutely use her again!”

About: (Base Access) Hello! I’m a Veteran, Mom of 3 kiddos, married to a Veteran and in my thirties with experience birthing puppies and goats, walking/running with dogs. I’ve taken care of 3 elderly dogs and helped them be as comfortable as possible before dying at home. Groomed our family dogs for years. I’ve helped my dogs and others after surgery and have experience giving medication. We have a single story home with only three steps to the backyard and two to the front yard. My husband and children are wonderful at cuddling and playing with all the dogs we get to meet. We will provide the full spectrum of care needed to help your furbaby feel loved and safe while away from their own family. I’m home most of the day every day, we go on walks as a family in the morning & evening. I have a minivan available for transporting all sizes of animals. We homeschool and my husband helps whenever I need to take the kids to activities. There are very few times where we are all away from home, so we are able to give extra attention. I have a large fenced yard with chickens (in their own fenced area) and my cats are friendly and live outside the home. Our home is a single story and the only steps are three to the backyard and two to the front yard. Our garage is heated/cooled and a great space to keep large kenneled pets. Our neighborhood is quiet and has a great road for walking on.

About: I love all animals but especially dogs. I’ve had dogs in my house for as long as I can remember. I know your fur baby is family and I’ll treat them like one. I am a stay at home dog grandmother and available most of the time. I do travel to see my daughter occasionally but always have plenty of advance notice. I don’t have a fenced yard but can take your pup(s) on short walks. Dogs are welcome anywhere they feel the most comfortable in my home, including couches.
About: There is nothing I love more than taking care or sweet fur babies. I’ve had personal experience taking care of dogs of any size for over 11 years. I have one small dog of my own that is old and very easy going. I currently work full time with kids with Autism. I usually work from 10-4. I prefer dogs that are crate trained and that can be left alone for a few hours. I am also available to dog walk before and after work! I have a large backyard area, however; it is not fully fenced. I make sure dogs are leashed when we hang out in the backyard!
About: I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a dog. I love to play with them and do anything I can to keep them happy. We’ve got our own house with a fenced in back yard. I will meet all the requirements requested and anything else the dog/owner may need.
About: I have years of hands-on experience working in two professional boarding facilities where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. During that time, I was responsible for feeding routines, exercise schedules, cleaning and sanitization, and giving pups the affection and enrichment they need to feel comfortable away from home. I’m trained in safely administering medications, monitoring behavior, and recognizing signs of stress or discomfort. Whether your dog is a high-energy adventurer or a laid back cuddler, I know how to keep them happy, safe, and cared for during every walk or check-in! Pet care is a natural part of my weekly routine! I have dedicated daily time blocks specifically for dog walks and check-ins so I can consistently provide reliable care for every pet parent I work with. Fresh air and staying active are already part of my lifestyle, so bringing pups along for exercise and outdoor enrichment makes it even better. I prioritize clear communication and punctual visits, and I’m always happy to send photo updates so you know your pet is having a great day:) Your pup’s needs will always come first! From potty breaks and playtime to gentle companionship while you’re away. Safety and trust are my top priorities during every visit. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so they always feel secure while in my care. During check-ins, I follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and household rules exactly as you outline them. For walks, I use secure leash handling, avoid unsafe areas or unknown dogs, and closely monitor your pet’s behavior and surroundings. I always ensure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before leaving. With reliable communication and detailed updates after every visit, you can feel confident that your pet and your home are in responsible hands.
About: I’ve taken care of my families pets since I was 13, and I became a dog owner 4 years ago!! My baby Jack is a beagle - cavalier king charles spaniel mix and he is the sweetest. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, bathing them, cuddling with them, and so much more. I absolutely love dogs and spending my time with them :) I work from home during the school year (Aug-May) so I’m available for drop ins, walks, and house sitting after school hours (4pm-late)! I am very flexible with hours and days. For boarding and doggy day care, I work from home 9am-4pm M-F. I see clients in person 4:30-6:30 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I will not allow dogs out without a leash if there’s no fence, and I will always listen to an owners instructions on how to best care for their fur babies. in my home, I have a fenced in backyard. I do not leave dogs home alone unless they are in a crate or kennel. There is a neighborhood dog park right behind my house ( that is typically empty ) that our dogs can play in as well.
“Bailey was very sweet and gave me the gift of one dog free beach day for my visit to topsail. My Trudy can be anxious and reactive around other dogs, so Bailey’s accommodations of a quiet peaceful 1-dog home were perfect and very similar to what she’s used to day to day after sitting through an overstimulating long drive . The best part is that Bailey is so quickly responsive and warm, and her calendar is accurate; if it’s open she’s flex for bookings. Would 100% use again for day boarding to have dog-duty free beach time and comfort knowing my dog is just chilling in Bailey’s living room.”

About: What sets me apart isn't just a love for dogs — it's a lifetime of it. I raised my own dog for 13 years, through every stage of her life, and recently said goodbye to her. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and the kind of deep care that only comes from truly bonding with an animal. When your dog is in my hands, they're not just being watched — they're being loved. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I work from home, which means dogs in my care are never left alone for long. My apartment complex has a dog park right on-site, making it easy to give pups plenty of fresh air, exercise, and socialization throughout the day. Having raised my own dog for 13 years, structure and daily care come naturally to me. I treat every pet in my care as my own. My home is a calm, safe, and loving environment. I pay close attention to each dog's individual personality and needs, and I always keep owners updated with regular check-ins. After 13 years of raising my own dog, I know how important trust and communication are for pet owners leaving their fur baby in someone else's hands.
“Thank you Drew for being great with Tony today! I really appreciated getting those updates and having some piece of mind while traveling. You’ll be my go-to if I need him to be watched again.”

About: My name is Cami, I have two dogs names Cricket ( 4 years ) and Piper (1 year). Both of my dogs were rescued and happen to be lab mixes. We currently are living on a farm that has been turned into apartments. On a normal night there are 4 dogs playing outside on 1.5 acres of land. Our back yard if pretty secluded and quiet. Which typically lasts for over an hour at night. So they would have plenty of time to socialize and burn off some energy.Overall, there is just a lot of room to run around and adventure. My girls also enjoy going for long walks on the dirt roads to burn off some energy. I hope to meet your dog soon.
About: Hi! I’m Emma — dog mom of 3, lifelong dog lover, and small-dog boarding specialist in Wilmington, NC. I have three friendly small dogs of my own (Cavaliers + a Cocker Spaniel), so your pup will always have built-in friends, supervised playtime, and a home-based environment instead of an overcrowded kennel. Taking care of dogs is just part of my everyday life! I work from home, so I’m with my dogs pretty much all day. We keep a regular routine of potty breaks, playtime, and light training throughout the day. On weekends, we love to switch things up with a hike, a beach stroll, or grabbing a pup cup at our favorite coffee spot. Whether it’s a chill day at home or an adventure, I’m always focused on making sure the dogs in my care are happy, safe, and well-loved. Located in a safe, quiet Scotts Hill neighborhood with a fully fenced backyard for playtime. I only board 1-2 dogs at a time, so your pup will always get personal attention and care. They have the option to have their own cozy suite or stay in the same room as our resident pups, both with comfy bedding, toys, and all the essentials. Please note all pets are crated when unsupervised and overnight. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog feels right at home!

My schedule gives me the ability to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including regular walks, drop-in visits, and extended time with pets who need extra attention. I understand the importance of consistency and routine for animals, and I am happy to work with your pet’s individual schedule to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets are able to stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I understand that being in a familiar space can help reduce stress, especially for pets who may be anxious or prefer the comfort of their own home. During each visit, I prioritize safety, trust, and attentive care by following your pet’s established routines, respecting your home, and paying close attention to your pet’s behavior and needs. I am happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout my time with your pet so you can have peace of mind while you are away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for in the place where they feel most comfortable.
“April is awesome. She was easy to communicate with and asked a lot of valid questions in order to provide our dogs with the best care. The dogs enjoyed her company and she gave us peace of mind while we were away.”
About: Hey there! I’m Allie. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your fur-babies, and my goal is to help both you and your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I always recommend a meet and greet so we can get acquainted and make sure I’m the perfect fit for your pets. I like to take the time to sit down, get to know both you and your pets, and answer any questions you may have. I moved to North Carolina from Virginia in 2019 when my husband’s military service brought us here. Since then, I’ve been pet sitting full time while completing my college studies. At home, we share our lives with our dog and two cats, who inspire me every day to provide loving, dependable care for all pets. I’ve spent my life around animals and have worked professionally in nearly every area of pet care, including animal hospitals, boarding facilities, grooming salons, and in-home pet sitting. These experiences allow me to confidently care for pets of all ages and temperaments, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets. Including administering medications and providing extra support for pets with medical or behavioral needs. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to hamsters, bunnies, reptiles, chickens, goats, and horses. If I haven’t worked with a species yet, I’m always eager to learn. No two animals are alike, and I love discovering what makes each one special so I can provide care tailored to their personality and needs. I am very flexible and able to provide your pets lots of quality time. 30 Minute Drop in: This is a quick visit to check in on your pet. I’ll let them out for a potty break, refresh food and water, give any needed meds or treats, and spend time playing or cuddling. I’ll send you photos and updates along the way. Perfect for a midday break or some company while you’re away. Overnight Stay: Your pet will have company and care throughout the night. I’ll follow your evening routine with dinner, a potty break, any meds, playtime, then stay overnight for supervision and comfort. In the morning, I’ll handle breakfast, another potty break, and fresh water, while keeping you updated with photos and messages. Light home care, like checking mail or plants, can also be included. Ideal for pets who need extra comfort and prefer staying in their own home. When caring for others pets I treat them as my own. Whatever your pet needs, I'll happily accommodate them to the best of my ability. I always triple check doors are locked when I leave, and that there is nothing in reach that could be harmful to your pets. (human food, dog treats, toys etc)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 12 years as well as cats for 7 years. Would love to take care of your pets as well Due to my current job right now it would be only weekend , weekdays would depending on the time frame and distance from my house Gentle, loving, playful, and caring. Is my motto, take care of them as I take care of my own. I would love to be helpful
About: Hi. I’m Annika. I used to taking care of animals and their needs. I love all animals. I grew up around all types of animals big and small. I have a little dog name Nova. I’ve been wanting to dog sit since I was 14 and found this website. I don’t think you would find a more excited person to come take care of your dog or cat. I’m energetic and love playing with dogs. Anybody who gives me an opportunity to take care of their dog or cat you won’t regret it I promise. I know your animals will be in 100% good hands when they are with me. I take care of animals like they are my child. I would give my last meal to an animal.
About: ABOUT ME: Called a cat whisperer with a magnet for any animals in need, I’m a retired teacher who has helped save various types of animals from the streets & my yards all my life & amaze many with pet bonding & relative cat obedience but adore all animal types. Many pets warm up to me fairly quickly that never socialize much and fear most people. I usually quickly gain various animals’ trust, love, loyalty, & affection & am great with most, especially cats & dogs. SOME EXTRAS & BONUSES: As a trustworthy house-sitter who knows what having one can be like in my own house, I’ll also take in your mail/packages & water your plants if requested (at no extra charge unless heavy packages & enough plants for a mini-jungle). COMFORT: Your pets will be as safe & comfortable as possible when with me & I'll spend ample agreeable amounts of time with them up to several hours if housesitting so long as I feel the same at your place. However, I WON’T likely stay overnight — unless maybe feeling miraculously 1k% safe & awestruck by your home. HOLISTIC PET CARE: I’ve learned a ton of priceless gems applying ongoing holistic pet care multiple times for cats & dogs, if interested. I’ve shared my house & yard with countless rescued cats & what has now been 2 rescued dogs. SCHEDULE: I'm the sole caretaker of my mother who's currently in hospice care & I have 8 pets to care for also. You'll likely be pleased with the time & care given to your pet(s) unless they conflict with info. below: If accepted after meet & greet, I’ll come up to twice per day for sitting. I’ll bring any dog(s) outside or for walks up to twice per visit, if requested, especially for puppies. I “may” have sufficient ability otherwise but much prefer early mornings & before dark any day & time of week. If needed in late mornings, evenings, or night, the schedule may be a conflict, especially if you’re further than 10 miles from where I am. If GPS shows YOUR HOME MORE THAN 15 MILES from mine before our meet & greet, let’s discuss fair & agreeable extra convenience fee for time & gas I’ll be commuting that day & possibly throughout the job, especially if I’m working otherwise then. Extra pay must be negotiated IF I MUST PAY for PARKING &/or YOU’RE NOT IN A HOME WITH AMPLE EASE & AVAILABILITY of PARKING such as your own private driveway, lots of spots on your block/road near entrance, or it otherwise takes several minutes to get from my car into your home. HOUSESITTING: Considering safety, my mother's condition, my own multiple pets (including spoiled dog 🐶), & that I may be working remotely or not, AN AGREED UPON MINIMUM # of HOURS P/DAY is the MOST I’LL LIKELY DO vs. OVERNIGHT housesitting. I’ll hopefully break my own dog’s separation anxiety soon but still must balance those needs with your pet(s). If I do consider being there overnight house sitting for you at some later time, “please consider possibility” of my small 14 lb shih tzu dog coming leashed & with a carrier, if preferred, to stay with me if there’s a room or place (that doesn’t have hardwood or a rug) to keep him separated from your pet(s). Yes his spoiled butt has occasionally had tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually only for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/visit or day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SITTING OF ANY TYPE OF DOG OR PET WITH A HISTORY OF AGGRESSION, INDIVIDUALLY or AS A BREED: This includes pitties, rotties, Shepards, Dobermins, & cats that have shown aggression towards any person or people. I know it may be based mainly on how they were treated while growing up…but I like living & have many others depending on me to make it home. Call me chicken 🐓 all you want but: I’m unwilling to work in isolated homes (considered too far/blocked from viewpoint of neighbors/roads + too close to wooded areas). For safety & privacy, I may be willing when able, to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel that my mom, pets, & I are fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening 😅). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE, WORKING LATCHES on exit doors or you agree I may bring my own + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side. Yup. Horror movies & bad experiences galore…! 🤷🏽♀️

“Josephine was very accomodating for our last minute dogsitting needs Thanksgiving weekend. She took great care of Lucy who loved playing with Roxy! We appreciate her patience and love she gave our anxious dog.”

As a mom of four, I’m naturally nurturing, patient, and attentive to details. I treat every pet like part of the family and am happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m home throughout the day and able to provide consistent care, attention, and supervision. I primarily offer in-home boarding, so your dog will be part of our daily routine and won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m available most weekdays and weekends with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Your pet will be cared for in a safe, clean, and calm home environment. I have a friendly Golden Retriever who is used to being around other dogs, and I always do slow, careful introductions to ensure everyone is comfortable. Dogs in my care are treated like family, and I provide regular updates and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have been around animals all my life. We raised our children with dogs, cats, chickens, fish, and even butterflies! I love animals and often care for family and friends whose pets need care. I have worked in New York, Arizona, and now North Carolina caring for these precious pets! I believe deeply that these fur babies are intuitive, intelligent, and capable of giving and receiving love. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. My day revolves around the needs of the pets I care for. I manage our rentals on our property so I am always close by! The pets I care for are free to roam around and explore inside our home. We have a back deck and open backyard. We back up to a nature preserve so there are walking trails and lots of places for exercise. Our neighborhood is quiet and well established. There are many dogs walking throughout in the morning and evening with their owners!
“Jordan was easy to work with in coordinating pick-up times and she did a great job taking care of Baxter. He's pretty much a one-on-one little guy and generally misses me a lot when I'm gone and is excessively happy and hyper for a bit upon my return. Baxter was happy when I returned, and much calmer and relaxed than usual. He obviously bonded with Jordan in a good way and it was noticeable that he missed her for a few days. I highly recommend Jordan.”

About: You can trust me to take excellent care of your pet! As well as owning my own pets most of my life (dogs, cats, ferret, bird, rabbits, etc.), I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine. I have pet-sat for several friends and clients, volunteered at shelters, worked at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, and for a professional dog walking / cat sitting company. You can rest easy as your pet will be safe in my care. I follow directions well and get the details right! Why I love dog walking and sitting: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. My first dog, Chief, helped raise me! Since then, I have owned a dog most of my life. Some have called me the "dog-whisperer". I have a pretty good perception of dogs and connect very easily with most. My last dog, Wendell, was a 150 lb. mastiff whom I adopted when he was 4.5 years old. He had never been socialized and was scared of most people, so in the six years we were together, I gained a lot of first-hand experience working through behavioral issues in a very large and strong breed. Our current dog is Lucy, a happy-go-lucky bull terrier who is deaf. She loves every living being! I’m also comfortable taking care of cats and other pets. My experience administering medication: I've given lots of oral meds and various ointments, eye drops, ear drops, etc. My schedule is pretty flexible. I’m typically available any day of the week and can do early mornings and late evenings if needed. Let me know your needs and I will do my best to accommodate! We have a secure, fenced yard, a doggie door, and a covered back patio with doggie beds perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. We also have a friendly bull terrier who will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if you prefer. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.
“Faith was an amazing sitter! So attentive and warm, she sent pictures and updates throughout the stay to keep me updated. Will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thanks Faith!!”
