About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting for over 10 years and truly love caring for animals of all kinds. Over the years I have cared for small and large dogs, cats, and even fish, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s personality, medication needs, and routines. I’ve also been a dog owner myself for the past 15 years. My family currently has two Queensland Heelers who are 10 and 15 years old, so I have plenty of experience with both high-energy working breeds and senior dogs. Because of that, I understand how important exercise, consistency, and patience are for keeping dogs happy and healthy. I’m available for walks and check-ins before work, after work, and I also have multiple days off each week where I can dedicate extra time to pet care. Because of this, I’m able to provide consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. I live a very active lifestyle and make it a habit to walk or hike at least five times a week, so regular walks and outdoor time are already part of my routine. This makes it easy for me to include dogs who enjoy exercise, fresh air, and exploring. For boarding, I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can make sure pets receive plenty of attention, activity, and care while they stay with me. I try to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and part of the routine whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in their own home. In my home, I have a spare room specifically set up for animals so they have a quiet and comfortable space if they need it. Pets are welcome on the furniture and I aim to create a relaxed, home-like environment where they can settle in easily. I have a large yard for supervised outdoor time, and while it is not fenced, I always make sure pets are closely supervised outside. My neighborhood also has a fenced dog park, and I live next to several walking and hiking trails, which is great for dogs that enjoy getting out for exercise and exploring. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and always try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with pets, cleaning litter boxes, and administering medication if needed. I can also crate dogs if that is part of their normal routine. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their animals are in good hands.
