About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.

“Sterling loves Barbara's visits! He enjoys some time getting treats, activity and pets while we're away during the day and appreciates Barbara talking and relaxing with him.”

“Lisa was beyond amazing. She made us feel comfortable and at ease going back home for the holidays knowing that our cat was going to be taken care of. We started off with one visit a day but Lisa also offered to check on her twice since it was our cats first time being alone for so long. She kept us updated every step of the way and sent all the pics. ❤️”

“Karen has cat sat for our 13 year old cat multiple times. She is thoroughly reliable and a very warm person. I highly recommend her! Plus, she’s a very good photographer. Each time she visits she sends us many pictures of our darling Kitty.”

About: I absolutely love dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life, sometimes with 5 in the house at a time. Along with taking care of my own dogs, I began dog sitting and dog walking for family members and family friends when I was 15. I love making dogs happy, getting them out of the house on walks, playing tug of war with them, or just cuddling on the couch. I am a full time college student taking mainly online classes so I have a good amount of availability. I am available Monday-Friday mainly all day, for the weekends I have limited availability but I can always be flexible. I think being respectful of what your boundaries are is most important. Every owner and pup is different and I can adapt well to the different needs for each one. I believe that being gentle and patient is a necessity when it comes to pet care. When walking or caring for your pet I will hold the upmost care for them.

About: I have a few clients I dogsit for - grew up having pet cats for decades. I love animals! I volunteer at Kitten Rescue LA biweekly. I’ve helped train my sister’s German Shepherd. My clients have been a Golden Retriever, Husky, senior Beagle, small to medium dogs and I am a lover of all breeds. Currently I’m working part-time so I have plenty of time to spend helping care for your furry family members. My hours are flexible :) :) I love giving attention to and caring for dogs and cats. Live near a park and dog park. Will accommodate routines you have in place and give you updates.

About: I offer a comfy loving home to your furbaby while you are away! I have two furbabies of my own who love to play and snooze, so we just ask that your dog does not have dog-aggression. The pups always have full access to a 8,000 sq feet fenced grass backyard, and we live right by many hiking trails in Altadena for fun walks! We have lots of fun interactive toys for mental stimulation too. I have many years of experience fostering rescue dogs and administering oral medication. No kids here, and I am always home so the dogs have near 24/7 company. Potty breaks will happen as often as needed. Please let me know of any special needs for diet, walks, etc., as well as their regular eating and bathroom schedule/habits so that I can make them feel at home!

“Ru is an outstanding sitter. Our Buster is very skittish with strangers, but he really took to Ru. She is very reliable and performed her visits as agreed, even spending more time as she really enjoyed caring for Buster.”

“Jessica is great with our two cats. Our cats are pandemic kittens and so are shy around strangers. Jessica has cat sit for us twice now and our cats are really warming up to her. She also takes care of all the essentials (feeding, litter, etc) very well.”

About: Growing up in La Cañada Flintridge, my love for animals has been an integral part of my life since childhood. Dogs have always gravitated towards me, making it clear that caring for animals comes naturally to me. I believe dogs are truly a gift from above, sent to bring joy and laughter into our lives. Huntington Dog Beach is my happy place, where I can connect with these wonderful creatures and witness the pure happiness they bring. As a dedicated medical professional with over 25 years of experience in La Cañada Flintridge, I understand the importance of compassion and care. My my schedule is open. I dream of one day having a dog ranch where all furry friends are welcome, providing love and safety for those in need. With a genuine connection to animals that rivals human relationships, I'm excited to share my love and care with your beloved pets. Currently my schedule is open for pet care. I am able to care for pets during the day but I also can do overnights as well. I believe it’s most beneficial for your beloved pets to remain in their environment of their homes so that they can feel safe and secure.

About: I've learned how to potty train, leash train, and train animals to do tricks. My family has experience with taking care of pets which may have prescribed medication or treatments so I will work with pets which may experience as such. I can work everyday for atleast an hour. Depending on school and work from my other job I could work more. I tend to work night shifts at my regular job but I work between 2-3 shifts and week so I have plenty of availability. I respect all animals and their owners. My top priority has always been to help the pets feel safe in my presence even without their owners present.

About: I am extremely compassionate and great with animals. I have been dog sitting for years and I understand that each pet is unique and may require different things from the next! I myself am an owner of two big lovable (now senior) mutts so I know some basic training skills, how to handle big dogs, and how important schedules are for medications. Currently I am self employed and looking for part time work. I am readily available to come check in or walk dogs. I think meet and greets are very important and hope to find a time beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. I love to have as many details as possible about their schedules, behaviors and special needs. I don’t want any accidents to happen! I love to play with dogs and pet them. I also talk to them a lot! Other than that I feel it’s best to be relaxed with them just like any normal day.

About: I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic as well as taken care of dogs and cats whether it be my own, or a roommates for majority of my life. I also am an active dog walker on other platforms. I work remotely which allows me to be out and about during the day. My job is flexible in that I don’t need to be at home and can work according to my schedule. I’m also very active and try to spend as much time outside or out of the house as possible so pet care is ideal for my situation. I do not currently have a pet of my own. However when it comes to anyone’s pet I care for them as I would my own but with the awareness that I am (initially) a stranger to them. Caring but with caution. A pet is someone’s baby in a sense and should be cared for as such.

About: I will love your fur pet like my own! I’ve had my own Maxie (bichon frise) for 11 years. Here to help you make life easier. I’m working part time at the moment and just recently finished school, so i’m looking for help out in any way I can and make some extra money to save for nursing school 😊 Currently working on getting my house available to dog sit, at the moment I will be focusing on drop in visits/ walks from the clients home. Hoping to build a bond with many fur babies ❤️

Emin H.

“Emin has been my go to dog walker, for my rescue pitbull since day 1. My dog, Bear, is leash reactive in general, but especially with other dogs, bikes etc. Emin completely eased my worries having worked with other reactive dogs before. I was so hesitant with how she would react with a stranger coming in to care for her. He had messaged me before asking if she had dietary restrictions and if he could bring treats. There has always been great communication before, during, and after walks, including picture or video updates. He has been nothing but loving, kind, and assertive, need be with Bear. I’ve also recently had Emin help with training. The training included in home manners along with on walks and outside general behavior. Emin gave me so many tips and tools to work on so we both feel confident, and work towards the secure but loving environment i’ve always wanted for my dog. I cannot recommend Emin enough! Although I would selfishly love to keep his services for me and Bear. The way she is so excited anytime he shows up, whether i’m around or not truly says it all.”

Delaney B.
“Delaney has taken care of our two pugs numerous times. They love her and are always excited to see her. They are very comfortable with her being at our house with them. I don't worry about them missing us when she is here. Delaney is very dependable and conscientious. Our pugs take several medications. They are older and on special diets. Delaney handles all of it with ease. I highly recommend Delaney.”

Cody W.

Alisa is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I know—her genuine love for both people and animals shines through in everything she does. While I myself don’t have pets, I have no doubt that she would treat your pets just like family. Her attention to detail, calm nature, and nurturing heart make her an ideal caregiver. Raleigh N.
“Raleigh has always been an awesome compassionate dog mommy. I never visited the vet clinic she worked at but did meet her coworkers that had high praise. I used to visit her when she lived incNorthern California and remember one time she was dog+cat sitting her neighbor's pets. Chance the dog was glued to her hip and seemed to adapt to his temporary mommy. Ivy the cat wasn't necessarily glued (as cats are) but she was able to call and get the cat to come to her and hangout with us. Due to her previous living situations i know pets weren't allowed so I'm happy to see her moving and getting a chance to share her love. Even though I'm older, I'm in awe of her togetherness and responsibility and hope she can be of service to Rover!”

Talitha M.
“Talitha is an exceptionally caring and responsible pet caregiver. She lovingly cares for her dog Max, always attentive to his needs and ensuring he’s happy and healthy. Her dedication and genuine affection for animals really show in how she treats every pet like a member of her family. I have complete confidence that Talitha will provide attentive, compassionate, and reliable care to any pet entrusted to her.”
Whiting Woods pet parents share their Rover experiences
Paula and Dudley got along fine! She visited him 3x per day while I was gone for 6 days. Paula checked in several times each day with positive feedback and photos. Dudley is a senior, so Paula had more responsibilities than just feeding and walking him. There were diapers to change and medicines to give him. Paula exudes kindness and empathy towards pets. I recommend that you contact her, meet with her, and book her!

Samantha has been an absolute joy to work with these past few months. She’s reliable, thoughtful, and kind. My pup adores her. Sadly she’s moving out of the area and will be very missed, but if you have a chance to have her look after your pets I can’t recommend her enough - you won’t find better.
