About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. I have had training experience with many different breeds due to working at a shelter. I have experience feeding, giving medicine and caring for dogs of all ages. I am currently fostering to adopt the most beautiful, energetic dalmatian named Emerald. I am currently not working so my schedule is wide open. I prefer to get up early and get my day started. Weekdays are also preferred. We have 2 cats, and we definitely care a lot about them (as most pet people do probably), and this was the first time leaving them for a full week so we were a little worried to say the least. Gwendolyn showed up a few days prior to meet the cats and we showed her all the things we needed her to check. The cats came right up to her and seemed to love her from the start! We are also in the process of selling our home, so a few times we had inspectors and appraisers come through and she even came at different times and even short notice to check on them! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
