About: I have been a pet owner my entire life and have always had dogs or cats in my home. My wife and I currently have a dog who we adopted from a shelter. My wife is a certified Dog Trainer and is also employed by the local Humane Society, so we are both involved in the care of animals and absolutely love it! She has her own job and business and will not be assisting me in any way in my endeavor to employ myself as a Dog/Cat sitter/walker/care giver, etc. I am retired, and as such I am available most every day to help anyone in need of services, little to no advance notice necessary. I am retired and run a small book selling business out of my home. My business only takes an hour or so of my time each morning, so I am available almost anytime every day of the week to help care for dogs/cats. I have a senior dog in my home at the moment, a dog that my wife and I adopted from a rescue shelter. She is an inside dog, but we have 10 acres so when she goes out, she has freedom to run around. For clients, I am comfortable with any type of service necessary. When I moved to the U.S, I lived in the country side with many dogs and thousand of birds (literally). Now, I have a little Chihuahua mix; he is like my baby. About: I have taken care of a variety of animals as big as horses and small as fish. I walk dogs and allow them to have play time, especially high energy dogs, they need it the most. I can cook meals for the animals if needed for a special diet. I reward with treats for good behavior. I don't mind if I need to get down and dirty. I've helped deliver a litter of kittens and nursed a kitten from a few days old. I work 8-2:30 in Persia and have to pick up by son before 3 at Preschool . I have 3 pets of my own. Playtime is paramount for most pets. It keeps them engaged and happy. Dogs that are active should have extra activities while you're away. I'm an active person and I believe it's your pets utmost health benefit to have lots of playtime and outdoor time! I also have fostered and pet sit for elderly or more low key dogs and always provide just the right amount of activity to take any limitations so not to strain or over do. I am currently taking dog behavioral training classes. I have some behavior training for dogs to best understand your pet. As I am always seeking to further my studies. I have experience with all sizes of dogs and ages. Some breeds I have experience with are Pit Bulls, Boxers, Mini Pins, Chihuahua, Blue Healer, Dingo, and the list goes on! The last office job I had also included dog sitting for the owner and his wife's dogs. They kept me good company and visa versa. Some of my friends call me the dog whisperer. I seem to give the dogs with anxiety a sense of ease when I am around them. I love to pet them and rub around their favorite spots that relax them. I.E, ears, belly, and neck. Sometimes I tend to find myself talking to them like they are a little baby lol I keep my rates on the lower end because I love being around dogs and I know we all just need a break sometimes or can't afford a sitter when a family function is important to attend. I want to help make things easier and manageable for you to take a trip or get away. Things are expensive these days and I don't want my rates for watching your fur baby to be one of them 🙂 I'm currently available everyday of the week and ready to play and be a part of you and your pups life 🙂 You're routine becomes my routine.
