Ben is great!! My dog is a rescue and can be a bit skittish around strangers especially men, but Jethro isn’t scared seems to really like Ben and enjoys his visits with him. Ben has been walking and playing with my dog during visits and really trying to get to know my dog. I appreciate everything he has done and will continue booking him for weekly visits. Ben is definitely five stars!!

About: We have a dog park right next to my unit & I promise you I know how hard it is to trust someone with your fur baby! I will love and take care of them, ensuring they don't feel lonely or abandoned. <3 I think updates are very important & provide so much reassurance and comfort that your dog is safe, loved & helps with having that communication❤️ I'm home and available most days! We have a small mini fenced off dog park right next to our townhome & a small private patio. I am fairly quick to respond to inquiries. I am a CNA, but taking a short break enjoying caring for fur babies these days ❤️ There is a fenced off dog park right next to my home, I go in there with the dog and make sure no other dogs are in to ensure safety, and frankly you just never know how dogs will be around eachother. I have a private patio as well. I think being attentive to your pet, providing whatever accommodations needed helps build trust & comfort to not only you, but your pet!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since birth and till death. I’ve been around pets my whole life and know the do’s and don’t’s of pet care. I have a part time job but if I accepted your boarding request I would be home the entire time. You will never have to worry about a lack of attention and care from me. My pets get along with others and are crate trained. Your pets would be treated like a member of the family. We could work on training as well.

About: I provide calm, attentive, and reliable pet care tailored to each animal’s needs. I had my own dog for 13 years, who passed away last year, giving me deep understanding of lifelong care and companionship. I’ve also been a dog foster and worked with multiple rescue groups, caring for dogs with a wide range of temperaments, including shy, anxious, and high-energy personalities. In addition, I have extensive pet sitting experience with all kinds of animals. I’m comfortable with daily routines, walks, playtime, and basic medications, and I bring patience, presence, and genuine care to every pet I look after. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to prioritize visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m able to adjust my availability as needed, which helps me be reliable for both last-minute and recurring bookings. I structure my week around my commitments so I can give each pet consistent, attentive care without feeling rushed. This flexibility allows me to provide dependable support and maintain a calm, present energy with every animal I care for. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every pet care situation. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep the pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times and never take risks during walks or outdoor time. I keep a close eye on behavior, appetite, and energy levels so I can quickly notice if something feels off. I also maintain cleanliness in feeding areas and litter boxes, and ensure pets always have fresh water and a comfortable environment. My goal is to create a safe, grounded presence so pets feel secure, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

About: I grow up my whole life with dogs. My babysitter was 2 beautiful Doberman growing up. I know dogs can be different same as all of us people, but with the right care and treatment they can let you lead and show their love, respect, and be your best friend. I had many different dogs since they were puppies until it was time for them to go to heaven. And all of them I remember with so much love and gratitude. They’re the best creatures in this planet. And I will be more than pleased if you let me watch your pets because I know how important they are and they need the attention and love even in those situations that we won’t be home so if you’re going on vacation, small trip, etc. I will make sure your dog is being taking care, feed, had enough walks, and be comfortable being here at home ready for bed, and if they have any special care as medicine or something like that I’m more than happy to have them on track until you can come back from vacation. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns in case this small summary didn’t respond any of your questions. I’m working with a very flexible schedule. I can make anything to work around your dog needs or special care. Any drop of around 4-5PM any day of the week. Thank you. I do have currently 1 friendly golden doodle. She’s a girl and love to play and make friends. She love kids and other dogs as well. She will keep your fur babies happy and busy playing and taking naps together.

About: I have had and loved dogs since I was learning how to walk with my best friend Buster! I’m familiar with all things dog and cat care related, from puppy/kitten to senior. No additional skills to highlight, just common sense, critical thinking, and a whole lot of love for animals. I’m available all days of the week to care for your animals! I’m currently looking for an additional part-time job on top of Rover, but for the time being my availability is open! I am able to care for your pets however you would like! I'm available for house sitting, drop bys, and walks. I am just short of 5ft tall, so I may have trouble walking bigger dogs, but we can discuss if that comes up!

About: I’ve owned dogs for 10 years. I’ve cared for puppies as well as senior dogs. Your dog will be in the home with us and will be loved as a member of the family by all of us. The back yard is fenced which allows free roaming and out door play. The dogs have access to a mud room which adjoins the house via a dog door. We enjoy taking lots of walks and playing ball. I believe healthy habits makes happy animals. I have the privilege of being a homeschool mom! I am home all during the week and will be available for all your dogs needs! Our home is small and very open which allows the dogs to be near us at all times. I do have a baby gate which separates the laundry room, so I can feed your dog and my dog separately. The back yard is fenced which allows plenty of free roaming and out door play. On warm weather days the back door to the back yard stays open most of the day and the dogs can come in and out as they please. From the backyard they can also access a mud room which adjoins the house via a dog door or a sliding glass door for large dogs.

About: Hi! I’m Hannah, and I’m a dog person through and through. Grown up with dogs practically my whole life. I believe dogs aren’t just pets they’re family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their humans are away. I love getting to know each dog’s individual personality. Whether your pup is energetic and wants to play all day, loves going on walks, or is happiest curled up beside someone, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. My goal is to make their time with me feel less like being away from home and more like a little vacation of their own! 🐾 What Your Dog Can Expect Walks, playtime, and plenty of attention Lots of love, cuddles, and companionship Meals and treats according to their normal routine Regular potty breaks Playtime and enrichment based on their energy level Photo and message updates so you never feel out of the loop A calm, safe, and comfortable environment I understand that every dog has their own routine and quirks, so I’ll take the time to learn what makes your pup comfortable. If they have a favorite toy, a specific walking routine, a certain way they like their food prepared, or simply need some extra reassurance, I’m happy to accommodate. I also know how much trust goes into choosing someone to care for your dog. I’ll treat your pup with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I would want for my own. Whether you’re going out of town, working a long day, or just need someone to give your dog some extra love and exercise, I’d be excited to meet your pup and give them a day full of walks, play, cuddles, and care! I’m currently a part-time college student online and I have a lot of free time during my day to care for your babies! If you need me in the morning, evening, or for late night check-ins I’m there. I understand that caring for your dog often means being welcomed into your home, and I don’t take that trust lightly. I will treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show mine. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep doors and gates securely closed, and make sure your dog is safe and supervised during every visit. I’m respectful of your privacy and personal space and will only access the areas of your home that are necessary for caring for your pup. I’ll also keep you updated during visits with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for my own pets as well as providing pet sitting and home sitting for multiple families. I have cared for multiple types of animals, including dogs, cats, bunnies and birds. I grew up around animals and learned from a young age how to understand them and meet their needs. I work from my computer, which allows me to stay at the homes of the pets I care for and look after them as if they were my own, spending a lot of time providing companionship, attention, care, cuddles and love! I’ve always loved animals of all kinds and truly enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I rescued my dog Polo, a sweet mixed-breed pup, and he taught me so much about love, patience, and trust. I’m very good at connecting with animals and earning their trust quickly. My schedule is very flexible because I work from my computer, which allows me to spend a lot of time with the pets I care for and look after them as if they were my own. I love animals, so I'm always happy to adapt my day to their routines, making sure they receive the attention, care, love, playtime, and cuddles they need. I choose to house sit and pet sit because animals bring me joy, balance, and inspiration. As someone who works remotely, this lifestyle allows me to stay with pets most of the time, keep their routines consistent, and give them companionship throughout the day. I’m very responsible and caring, and I always make sure each home and each pet is treated with respect, safety, and love.

About: I have always been the go-to friend, when it comes to taking care of their pets while they are away. Over the years I have had experienced all sorts of dogs and cats, and have given them all the care and love as I do my own pets. ❤️ I’m a full time hairstylist who’s just wanting some animal interaction away from the salon. I have Mondays available from 11-3 to snuggle, walk and play with your fur babies. If I am making a home visit, I will spend 40-60 minutes with your beloved pet. Making sure water is topped off, and feed if need, while giving your pet undivided attention in your absence. If I am dog walking, my dog and I will stop in and take your dog for a fun jaunt and play in the park. (40-60 min). (If my dog doesn’t get along with your dog, we can make it just me.)

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Whites Crossing. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Whites Crossing.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whites Crossing. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
