About: I have been house/dog sitting sine the mid 1980's ( I know, a whole other century)! I have no problem staying at your place and taking care of your doggies, collecting the mail, watering your plants, or whatever keeps strangers at bay. I do have allergies to cats which is a bummer as I am a new cat-grandma but can do feedings or litter changing ( I wear a mask)- I just can't stay over. I have always had dogs in my adult life, and would love to be the "Mrs. Grandma" to your little fur baby! I work from 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday beginning Aug 8.. My evenings and weekends are free of work obligations. I do love to stay busy and explore fun things to do in and around the city or I can snuggle at home with my Winnie and a good book. I have had double knee replacements so walking dogs can be a tad difficult if it is a long journey. My dog (Winnie) has graduated to not requiring her cage during the day and a fenced in yard which she loves chasing the frisbee and tennis balls. We live near a park and Winnie loves to explore the trails. We also have a rabbit (Chip) who was originally a gift for my son and quickly became mine. Chip has an area where he resides inside but loves to be hopping around the living room.

About: I have had dogs in my family since I was little and adopted a little tuxedo cat two years ago. About: Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. Friends, neighbors, and loved ones have all sought my care for many years for both their dogs and cats. Being a teacher, I have the entire summer to help care for pets, so choose me for your pet care needs! I have very open availability for walks, daily care, and overnight care. I work as an elementary school teacher during the majority of the year, but my summers are completely free! Each pet and each household is different, so catering to the needs of each pet is a priority. Following diet instructions, making sure pets get proper play and exercise time, and lots and lots of love are all priorities of mine.

About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs from puppy to senior, as my parents both had dogs of their own and raised puppies. I am experienced with a wide variety of breeds from my time volunteering at the Fairfield Humane Society and have spent time pet sitting for many of my neighbors. I work remotely part time, so I set my own hours. This gives me ample time to spend with your best friend while you work or have other commitments to ensure everyone is happy and healthy. I have a fenced in backyard and am willing to cater my care to your dogs preferences from walk time to crate time and everything in between.

“I honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to Ms. Pat. She’s amazing on so many levels that I could actually write paragraphs about her. At this point she feels like family. To say I trust her with my babies and in my home is an understatement. She treats my dogs so good that when I come home after she’s been there I feel they have higher expectations from me 😂 She also makes sure the cats indoor and outdoor have food and water, and if the kitty’s make a mess with the water she cleans up. My little Rocky is unfortunately in a phase of marking and she also cleans up when/if he does that. She picks up my mail, and she’s even brought a piece of wood over to block the bottom of my fence where my pup tries to get under to the neighbors yard and play with a big dog that could probably swallow him in one bite. She’s purchased treats not only for the pups but left me a full bag of skittles because she saw o had a jar on my counter. She sends so many pics and her updates are so detailed. She’s even printed off some of the photos for me and that’s not all.. she purchased two gold frames to match my decor for me to put them in. She comes when she says she will and she spends quality time with them. At this point I feel like she’s grandmothered in .. literally she cares for my babies like she’s a proud aunt or G-ma. I would 10 out of 10 recommend (even though I really don’t want to share because if she’s ever not available I probably wouldn’t hire anyone else on Rover) I had a bad experience last year and almost wrote Rover off as a never again. Ms. Pat has changed that for us.”
