About: Charleston local with a passion for animals and extensive experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with German Shorthair Pointer, Gretchen, and a Springer Spaniel named Molly. My mother had a 20 pound schnoodle, Henry, who stays with me 2-3 times a week. My place is on 12 acres of land on Wadmalaw Island, a doggy paradise for breeds that require extensive off-leash exercise and freedom. I work from home and can be flexible, ensuring that pets get all the care, attention and exercise needed to ensure the are as happy as possible while their owner is away I live on 12 acres where dogs can be off leash if allowed. About: I’ve had various pets my entire life- dogs, cats, reptiles (a bearded dragon named Elvis), fish, rabbits, a ferret that I inherited when my sibling passed away, and even a bird that I rescued. Pets have been, and will forever be, a part of my life. I’ve now gotten my husband into the pet world, and he can’t imagine life without at least one dog now. Ha! We lost our senior pup of 16.5 years about a year ago, and have since rescued a Foxhound who was sick and malnourished when we fostered her. She and our other foster fail, Finn, have fun together! I also provide houseplant care for people. I’m a member of the Charleston area houseplant community, and have a house jungle of my own. My schedule is unique. I own a small handmade business, so I have a lot of time to be home (or at your home!). My unique situation allows for extra love and feelings of security while let parents are traveling. My work is easy to pack and bring with me, whether I’m sewing, knitting, crocheting, or embroidering/cross stitching. We have a fenced yard where our two dogs play and do essential “business”. Our schedules aren’t consistent but if we aren’t “home” running the shop, we won’t be away from home for longer than 3 hours at a time. In our home, pets are treated like family, and every day is a new adventure! The mornings always kick off with fetch in our yard. While we’re in the process of building a fence, our yard is tucked away off the road, next to a quiet driveway leading to a storage facility—plenty of space to play safely! Our dog (and yours, if you’re comfortable) then heads to work at the bicycle shop, where she’s the official greeter and mood booster, soaking up love from coworkers (furry ones and human ones) and guests. Midday breaks are all about chasing tennis balls and soaking in extra snuggles. After work, the real fun begins! We head to John’s Island County Park’s dog park or Beachwalker Park for epic sunset zoomies on the beach. Your pup will enjoy endless playtime, love, and adventure with us—it’s a tail-wagging good time every single day! Your dog(s) can join in on all the fun with the other pups and people or can be kept separate while still being comfortable, getting lots of play, and all the love they need!
“This was the first time I used Kim & Dylan for doggy daycare for Reba & Willow. We did have a meet & greet prior to our first day of doggy daycare & They were amazing with my dogs. Kim & Dylan were very accommodating & attentive to Reba & Willow. Reba can be a bit nervous and Willow can be a bit over excited and they made both dogs feel comfortable. About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was born. I currently have a four year old dog of my own, so I know the importance of pet care; from walking, playing, and training. I work from home Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM which allows me the flexibility to fit pet care into my daily routine. About: I have been a vet tech for 14 years now and I absolutely love the work I do. Unfortunately, being a single mother doesn't allow me to fully commit to veterinary clinic hours. I am starting up my own mobile pet service business called Pampered Pet. I provide excellent pet care along with other services such as nail trims, sanitary and paw shave, baths and more. About: I worked at Oradell Animal Hospital for over 2 years in the Emergency Room, taking care of the most critical patients in the ICU, along with simple tasks like walking them, feeding them, etc. I recently graduated from college and am officially a New Jersey liscensed Veterinary Technician, along with all of the prior hospital experience!
