About: Home isn’t just a place, it’s where your pet feels loved… Hello there! I’m, Kourt and I’m so happy too meet you and your furry friends. I’ve owned pets of all sizes for as long as I can remember, and the continuous love I’ve had for my pets throughout the years has helped me to meet many new families and their fur babies, and allowed me to help those families truly enjoy their time away knowing their pets are with someone who truly cares. I am new to becoming a sitter on the Rover app, for my past experience has come about strictly from families sharing their experience with me by word of mouth to other families. I currently have a job and will be starting school back up in August, but my job is pretty flexible. If you are need of an in home sitter and are not comfortable with me being away for up to 6 hours a day while I am at work, I completely understand! I am more than happy to provide care on weekends with a couples day notice (I’m not super busy), don’t be afraid to ask about holidays as well! I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, kitty cats, large dogs, small dogs, you name it! I am able to recognize an animals body language to help me understand where I stand with your pet. Although I love to say my love knows no boundaries, I am well versed with understanding how to exist in your pets space and within your boundaries ❤️ Don’t be afraid to ask me any questions you may have! I work around 28-35 hours a week, and most days the entirety of my work shift is about 6 hours a day. I am more than happy to step away to let your pet outside to potty if you are uncomfortable with me being away for that long! I tend to have random days off during the week and weekends off for the most part, so I would be happy to review my schedule with you as long as my work schedule has come out already! I currently have a senior King Shepherd named Buddy, and a young American Coonhound named Judd that my fiancé and I care for and love! I’ve had many pets in the past, and I can truly say that I prefer to refer to my “pets” as family. One of my favorite parts of the day is putting together the dogs breakfast and dinner and watching them enjoy the healthy concoction I’ve put together! I will adhere to however you choose to run your home, and care for your fur babies in a way that reassures you they are safe and loved. ❤️

About: I have had dogs in my home my whole life and I plan to continue. I have only housed rescue dogs, so I have dealt with all temperaments. I love all dogs and dog types. I love going on walks with the pups, snuggling, and playing fetch if they’re interested. I’m comfortable giving meds with your instructions, maintaining a feeding schedule, and picking up poop. I currently have 2 kittens, and have always loved cats of all ages. I love to play, snuggle, and care for all types of dogs and cats. I work a corporate job, 1-2 days from home, 3-4 days in Pontiac area. I can easily visit your pets in the morning or evenings any day. If you are nearby I can adjust my office days to fit your needs. I’m very flexible, so please reach out and I’m sure we can work out a schedule. I am a gentle person who loves all animals. When arriving at your home, I would enter quietly so to not scare your pet/s. If greeted happily, I would gladly roll on the ground with them & get acquainted. I would generally take your dog outside immediately so to avoid any accidents on the floor. I would check the water, food, and bathroom situation to make sure everything is appropriately filled. Any needs you need for your pet I am happy to accommodate.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is more than just experience—it's a lifelong passion and deep understanding of animal care. With over 50 years of personally caring for cats and dogs, I’ve developed an intuitive sense of their needs, behaviors, and personalities. I’ve also served as a dedicated foster parent to both dogs and cats, giving temporary homes to pets in need and helping them transition into their forever families with love and patience. This hands-on experience has taught me how to care for animals in all stages of life, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets needing extra attention. I don’t just watch pets—I connect with them, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. As a retired teacher, I now have the time and flexibility to fully dedicate myself to pet care—and I truly love it. With no other work commitments, my days revolve around providing attentive, reliable care for the pets I look after. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I can be fully present and focused on each animal’s unique needs. Pet care is not just part of my routine—it is my routine, and it brings me joy and purpose every single day. When caring for pets at a client’s home, I treat their space—and their pets—with the utmost respect, as if they were my own. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs, walks, litter box or potty routines, and any special requests. I take time to bond with each pet, offering playtime, cuddles, and companionship so they feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. I also keep the home tidy, clean up after the pets, and provide regular updates, including photos, so clients feel at ease while they're away. My goal is to ensure both the pets and their owners have peace of mind throughout the entire time I’m there.

Kourtnee J.
“I have known Kourtnee for over 2 years and during that time I have observed her interaction with my dog, her own dog and other people's dogs on numerous occassions. No matter whose dog it is, Kourtnee is always kind, gentle, playful, concerned that their needs are being met, that they are happy and genuinely cares about them; I have even heard some people comment that their dog has never taken so quickly to a person. Although I have not had the need for my dog to be watched, if the need ever arises Kourtnee would be the first person I would ask to watch my dog and I would not be worried that she (my dog) wasn't being taken great care of.”

Alison R.

“Alison has been amazing!”

Genora C.
“Genora provided such attentive and gentle care to my sweet pup, June. June had a UTI at the time, and Genora did such a great job making sure June got her medication and proper care while we were away. She sent us pictures, and provided many updates during her time with June. June loves Genora, and is the most excited every time she gets to see her! I will definitely be going straight back to Genora next time June needs a visit or sitter! <3”
