About: Hi, I’m Hannah, and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! I am a big animal lover and have been taking care of animals from kittens to Rottweilers for as long as I can remember. I’ve had a lifetime of experience caring for pets - whether they be my own or someone else’s. When I moved out and got my first pet two years ago, I discovered the struggle of balancing real life and responsibilities as a pet parent. When I made the move to Annapolis, I saw many others working through the same struggle - to balance life and pets. That’s where I want to help! You can be a good pet owner, no matter how busy life gets! I am available for walks, feedings, boarding, potty training, or whatever you might need support with! As a current dog mom myself, I want to support everyone out there who is trying their best to find that difficult balance for their critters. Don’t worry, you’ve got this, and I can’t wait to meet your pet! I currently work part-time on a flexible schedule, so I am able to go home quite a bit throughout the day to check on pets. I am available to give two mile or longer walks a day, and at least one mid-day bathroom break. I do have my own dog, Rose, and she lives in the apartment as well, so any dogs need to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated- just like she is. Your pet will have their own separate bedroom from Rose, that provides a calm, safe space for them during the day (and also gives any non dog-savvy cats a space alone). This bedroom will house their kennel, bed, food and water bowls, and anything else you’d like them to have. My apartment complex is very animal friendly and has a dog park right on sight for your furry friend to get off leash time. There are multiple side walks and small trails throughout my apartment community where I am free to walk dogs that stay with me. If I am commuting to your home, your dog will be guaranteed two long walks a day at feeding times and one mid-day bathroom break (more if needed). I can provide baths in my apartment or your home, and grooming if necessary.
“If you’re not booking Mady when she has availability then what are you doing. Mady was AWESOME! She took great care of our dog and sent tons of pictures and some video. She has a dog friendly home so if your dog has free range of the house like ours they will feel at home. Definitely will be using Mady again if her availability meets our needs for boarding. 5 ⭐️ job Mady.”

And both Horatio and Emma loved having their "TV" (watching the chickens and ducks!). They came home happy and even better groomed than when I dropped them off. My own dog is a “foster fail” who was considered a “yellow” dog who was very untrusting of people. Now he is a lazy lapdog with no cares in the world. Lots of work to get there but I’d love to help anyone else who struggles to ring “the right” sitter for their stubborn pet. I have volunteered at the local spca to walk all the dogs (with pitties having that special place in my heart). Looking to build a new work/life balance focused on taking care of animals so I am free most days and times of the day. Weekends, daytimes and evenings welcome. Each animal is different. Some pets need time to warm up so I approach animals with respect in their own homes and take the time to gain their trust. I tend to get down on the animals level and let them approach me.

I was nervous about leaving my new pup, Alfie, but from the moment I met her, I knew he was in wonderful hands. She was absolutely amazing and cared for him as if he were one of her own. She is such a sweet, genuine, and caring person, and you can truly see those qualities in the way she loves and cares for dogs. She genuinely loves them, and it shows! You can see how happy, pampered, and well cared for her own dog, Halo, is. Alfie and Halo became besties, and it honestly felt like Alfie went on a little vacation of his own! 🐾❤️ I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust her with Alfie again. Dana is the best! My dog Shanie had a wonderful week with her. We got lots of great pictures throughout her stay. Dana has a perfect house with a large fenced in yard with shaded areas and is largely flat, so perfect for older dogs like Shanie. In addition to being a great dog sitter, the location of her home is SO convenient for those traveling to the MD and DE beaches... she's close to the bay bridge! Will definitely use Dana next time we travel!
This was Tibs’ second time staying with Keerin and her family and he had a great if not better time than the first! Keerin has such a happy home and our boy got tons of love from her, her family, and their dog, Boomer. They sent plenty of happy picture updates.
