Safety, trust & environment

We live in a townhouse but I have a semi-fenced in yard. We also have a dog park a 5 minute drive away if your fur baby would enjoy that. My toddler loves to rub around with the dogs and throw the ball for them. My sweet pup loves making friends and is usually great at matching energies with other dogs (she gets tired quicker in her old age). My goal is you feel as though you left your fur baby with a family member. I will send daily photos/videos (especially if they are very cute with my kids), and try to keep you as updated as I can so you have peace of mind that your pup is in good hands.

Home

Information Celena W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if there is anything special about your pet's care. I prefer animals that are good with other dogs and children as I have young children and a dog of my own. We have extra food bowls, treats, towels, blankets, and toys so there is no need to bring any of that unless your dog is attached to their own. We do require you bring your dog’s food and medications. Is your dog used to free-feeding? - We do not free-feed in our house, but we can make some accommodations for dogs who are used to free-feeding. Does your dog have any “release” commands or cues before they eat? Are there any treats your dog is not allowed to have? - We do not give raw hide or any type of hide. Our usual variety of chews/treats are antlers, buffalo horns, yak chews, milk bones, calming treats (we give according to the weight recommendations), pupperoni sticks/other soft chews that may be on sale when we go to shopping. We do not feed the dogs people food, however, we have a toddler and he does throw food on the ground or drop snacks and we do allow the dogs to eat whatever he has dropped on the floor. Would you rather us not allow your dog to eat his messes? We can accommodate for that easily during meal times. Is your dog allowed up on couches or beds at your own home? - We allow the dogs up on the couches and beds here, however, if they are not allowed at your house, we will keep the rules consistent as we know dogs thrive with consistency. Does your dog bark a lot? - We live in a townhouse and our neighbor works from home. We try to be considerate of her and not accept dogs that are excessive barker. Is your dog an escape artist? - We have a temporary fence in our backyard, if your dog is an escape artist, we would just take them out on a leash as there are some gaps over by the ac unit.

A typical day

With my two little ones, I cannot guarantee many walks during the day, but I walk the dogs in the morning before the kids wake up, and in the evening after they go to bed; the dogs are also allowed outside whenever they want. If I feel like there is a lot of pent up energy, I will load the gang up in the car and take them on the 5 minute drive to the dog park down the street. I understand people have mixed feelings about dog parks, so please let me know if you don’t want us going. At home, the dogs are allowed up on couches and beds and my toddler loves to throw the ball to the dogs as well as play “tug” (the dogs always win unless they let him win like my dog does sometimes).

Celina, her husband and two adorable boys took great care of Milo for two nights. Milo fit right in with their family and Celina sent lots of pictures to show how Milo was happy. If we need someone in Annapolis again we would use Celina to care for Milo.

Best experience I’ve had on rover! Maggie had a blast. Celena sent multiple updates throughout the day. This was a last minute booking and I’m so glad she was available, I will be booking with Celena again!
