Home Away from Home Doggie Love ❤️

**Work From Home Dog Mamma** Licensed & Insured Growing up I had a childhood dog, which was a GSP and he was the best dog a kid for ask for! I would also watch my sister and brother in laws two dogs which was over a time period of 12years. My 12 1/2 year old Morkie Lexi passed away of aggressive kidney failure, I adopted her in 2010 and she crossed the rainbow bridge in Jan ‘23. In 2019 I rescued a senior GSP Tucker who was given up when he was about 11-12 years old and shortly after went through surgery to remove a cancerous liver tumor. Tucker passed in July ‘23 of old age. In March 2023 I fostered to adopt a Pitt/Lab mix little girl I named Rayne who was part of an abandoned litter. She’s safe, happy and loved now! She seeking doggy friends to play with. My spare bedroom was turned into a dog room. I even added a camera to watch them when I leave for a short time. I’ve recently found a doggy relaxing play list I love! I will play when your dog naps, sleeps for the night or if I should have to leave the home for a short period. Any dog who comes into my life, I love and care as if they were my own! My dog is current on all shots and flea/tick monthly meds. **Please reference the Additional Info section before reaching out and be sure to have your pet profile completed with detail info, vet information and picture(s)** ***Meet and Greets are required before booking. I look forward to meet you and your furry babies***

We had our trial stay with Candice and the pups and us felt very comfortable and happy. She was very communicative. Easy to work with and kept us updated with the pups throughout the day. We’re glad we met her and will be going to her many many times in the future.

This was our first time with Candice and our first time using Rover. Candice was amazing. Piper has to take medicine at a specific time every day and Candice was awesome about letting us know each time that the medicine had been given. She sent photos of Piper several times a day - and each time Piper was lokking relaxed and happy. I would highly recommend Candice!

Candice was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our pup while we went out of town. And she was so easy to work with. She provided updates each day and cared for our dog just as we requested. To put this into perspective, we never board our dog and usually only book vacations where he can be included, but we couldn’t take him on this trip, so I reached out to Candice. She was very accommodating and I felt at ease leaving our beloved Aussie with her. We will absolutely book with Candice in the future!

Candice was great with our Bo. She sent loads of pictures (which we loved) and kept us up to date on feeding/sleeping schedules. We especially appreciated her flexibility on the pick up time. Thank you!!

Schedule

Your pups care will be close as possible to your routine at home. From feedings, to bathroom breaks, playtime, etc. All dogs in my care during their stay will have quiet time during the day; may that be relaxing in a crate or on the couch.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

Since I have a locked 6ft fence and with the nicer weather, I will leave my slider open for my pup to come and go. Enjoy laying out in the sun, chasing birds, squirrels and more. But always safe. Frequent breaks with snacks, water and feedings. I hope your pets fit right in. If you prefer the dogs not to roam free from house to outside, I will respectfully honor your request. Also pets are allowed to be comfortable on my couch or sleep with me on the bed. Whatever makes them not homesick! While I accept dogs who no longer need a crate or use a crate, being crate trained is helpful. I have several larger crates on hand, it’s nice when your pup will need some quiet time to have a place to go. Please let me know upon booking or when we chat if your dog is crate trained or not. Picking the right person to care for your furry pup(s) is important. To ensure your pup(s) are well loved and cared for during their stay at my house or yours for drop in visits, I have my rates set accordingly. While your dog(s) are at my house for boarding they are receiving constant care and playtime as needed. My time away from home is minimal. Your furry pup(s) will go home hopefully tired from all the activity they received while in my care and a new furry friend while playing with my puppy Rayne. I look forward to being your Rover sitter of choice and meeting you and your furry dog(s).

Pets

A typical day

We can play catch out back or relax inside. Lots of sun on the deck to enjoy on a nice day. Your pup(s) will get lots of snuggles, ear scratches, belly rubs, and treats! While boarding in my home, to reduce risk of your dog escaping I prefer to not do walks. Please let me know if you prefer your pup to have walks during their stay and I can accommodate/discuss during the meet and greet.
