About: For 6 years I’ve been taking care of my own 2 cats, feeding them in the morning/afternoon, cleaning up after them in, and playing and cuddling with them everyday. Now a Sophomore Stage Management Major at Western Michigan University, I miss my cats dearly while I’m away and I look forward to meeting your little fur baby and taking great care of them. I have availability mainly in the afternoons after 3p! So I have plenty of time to come in and check on your pet and take good care of them! Having taken care of two cats in my personal home, I am prepared to come in and clean up after your pet should they be sick. I take personal hygiene very seriously and will always be sure to take in any illness from other pets or people.

“Izabella was so great with coco. I had a last minute request when her longtime caregiver could no longer care for her. I had set up care through another person on rover and they cancelled which left me just two days to find someone. Izabella sent me her work hours so I could coordinate drop ins and walks to work with cocos schedule. She came the next day for a meet and greet. While I was away she gave great photos and updates. She even offered to take out the trash and put some salt down. She offered an additional check in if needed the day we were coming back which was wonderful since our plane got delayed. Would definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I have experience regularly caring for different types of animals since I was about 13 years old. I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter before moving to Kalamazoo and have lots of experience with different breeds of dogs of various sizes, ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I also have experience with dogs with different temperaments from extremely timid to extremely outgoing and hyper as well as ample experience with reactive dogs. I’m currently a student at Western Michigan University and I also work part time as a server. My schedule is pretty flexible and I should be able to accommodate most requests. We couldn't be happier with the care provided for our elderly cat, Khan. We were in a bit of a stressful situation — our original pet sitter fell through at the last minute, and we found ourselves scrambling to find someone reliable on short notice. Reed & Natalie really came through for us. Natalie quickly arranged a meet & greet to get acquainted with Khan and helped put us at ease. That first impression proved well-founded. Khan is a cranky little lady who does not warm up to strangers easily, but the visits went wonderfully, and it was clear that real patience and care went into each one. What really stood out was the dedication and reliability. The daily visits required a significant drive, which is no small ask given how painful fuel costs have gotten lately — and that never seemed to be an issue. Even some unexpected car trouble didn't get in the way of the visits. That level of commitment is rare and did not go unnoticed. Knowing Khan was in good hands while we were away gave us peace of mind. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend Reed & Natalie.
Lydia was great! She was super responsible with my senior cat who needs oral meds. I could tell she took extra time to cuddle and play with him. She cleaned up everything before I came home. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
