Hello, my name is Theresa. I was born and raised here in Kalamazoo. My degree is in education, and while one of my passions is kids, my other passion is animals. Currently I have a wonderful fur baby named Tinkerbell who is my life. I do not, nor can I have dogs where I live so dog sitting is my way to get my dog fix. I have 6 years experience pet sitting and I love every moment of it. I find that after a day of watching the pet that I fall in love with them and always look forward to watching them whether it being an overnight or drop ins. In the past, I have administered medication to one or two pets that were under my care. I give baths to those who need that special kind of attention, even though we all know that's not anyone's favorite part(ie the dog). I give endless love and attention to those I watch. I am not a professional trainer, but I would help in any training that is currently going on within the household. When I have free time I volunteer at a local animal shelter taking them in walks, also finding it hard to say goodbye, but I know they are going to their furever home. During the week I work full time 7:30-4 Monday through Friday, but I am available everyday after 4 to drop in on your dog for play time and walks, though I can do multiple drop ins if needed. I am available for long term or short term needs, and I am very flexible. If I were to do house sitting I would be staying at your residence. I want your pet to feel safe and I think that would be in their own familiar territory. If there are any dog parks around, I would bring your dog there for dog interaction. In all, I am here for you and your fur baby. I will give them the attention they need.
