About: I have been surrounded by and have taken care of dogs since getting my family’s two dogs when I was around 11 or 12 years old. Even since moving out, my family has relied on me to take care of them on vacations, extended work trips, etc. I now have a kitty of my own, and love any opportunity to meet new animals. I am currently traveling the country, and looking to explore new places! I’ve found that pet-sitting is an excellent way to do so, with the side bonus of getting to meet new furry friends along the way! I am very intentional about adapting to each pet’s individual needs - whether they’re a fast friend or needs some space to figure me out first, my top priority is establishing trust with your fur baby. From there, I can ensure that I give them the proper love and care they deserve.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have had cats as well, so I'm comfortable with both. Most recently I've been the go-to sitter for my neighbor's cat during her extended trips away — sometimes up to a month at a time. About: Growing up I had three different large family dogs as well as an outdoor cat. I currently have my own indoor cat who is very happy and healthy, his name is Beans. I’ve grown up around itty bitty 5lb lap dogs all the way up to large 70lbs+ dogs. I’ve had experience with dogs that are wayy too social and the exact opposite, not able to be around strangers at all. I’ve done extensive personal research into cat and kitten care and have spent lengthy time with dozens of cats in my lifetime. I have a very personal soft spot for all animals big and small. They are such pure, innocent beings that deserve all of our love and protection. But they are also incredibly diverse in behaviors and emotional experience so it critical to be mindful and patient with them always. I am available for all pet care services Monday-Sunday, 12pm-10pm. Overnight stay will be planned out on a case by case basis due to fluctuating personal demands. What happens when I meet/care for your pet? Well the specifics vary depending on the service being provided but a general summary would be: Off the bat have a clear and thorough understanding of the boundaries and expectations the client has for their animal. Listen to any warnings, concerns, or tips the client may have about their pet. Meeting the animal under client supervision and listen to any preferences they may have when it comes to meeting their pet (assuming this is the first time I’m meeting your pet). As well as understanding the Clients expectations of me and the care I will be providing for them, ensuring that their own and their pets needs are fully met.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I could remember! I’ve lived on a farm and find pleasure in tending to animal needs! Pets are therapeutic and are make great buddies for outdoor activities! I’m currently working full-time and have availability in the late afternoon (after 3PM) to tend to your pets desires! I typically work mornings 7AM-3PM. I enjoy working with people and animals, and find them to truly make a difference in our outlooks in life! I unfortunately currently am unable to board animals or do day care at my home. About: I have trained one dog since she was 6 weeks old and is now 7. I also have a rescued abused dog that I trained that is 2.5 now. I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I work full-time but can frequently stop by to take care of your pet. I love walks as well and playing fetch (or whatever your pet prefers). I would stop by at least 3 times a day and walk at least twice. For now, I will not house pets more than 2 pets in my home due to limited space. When you book me, I would love detailed information on what you expect from me!

We highly recommend Stephanie for taking care of your pets! Stephanie did drop-in visits 14 days for our cat while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond our expectations. She sent a lot of pictures every day and took time to play with our cat in addition to feeding her and cleaning the litter box. Our cat is usually very shy around new people, but she warmed up to Stephanie very quickly. She even brought her own hand-held vacuum her last day to make sure everything was nice and clean. We will definitely use her again!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
