I grew up always having a dog in the house that I would help care for. Once I could drive myself I started farm sitting and house sitting. This means I have experience taking care of lazy dogs that just want to cuddle and working dogs that need more exercise and mental stimulation.

Whenever I have a pet in my care, I ensure I listen to what they are telling me in terms of body language. I play with them if they have energy, cuddle if they just want pets, and make sure I get to know their personality so I can care for them in the best way I can.

Mattie was excellent! She kept Finn busy and exercised which he needs. We got daily updates on what they were up to. We were lucky to find Mattie and appreciate her care of Finn.

Mattie was wonderful! We had a pet sitter fall through the day before our trip. Mattie was able to stay in our home through the weekend to watch our two dogs last minuet. She was responsive and sent pictures to us throughout her stay. We felt at ease the entire weekend. Our dogs and home were very well taken care of. Highly recommend Mattie for your pet care needs!!!!
Mattie is an ideal pet-sitter! She is flexible, communicative, and did her best to make my pup comfortable and happy :-) not to mention how grateful I was that she was willing to watch him on short notice! I would absolutely recommend her and trust her to watch my pets in the future!

I am currently a young wildlife professional in between seasonal work so I am available to care for your pet any day of the week!
