“Erik was awesome with our two pups! One of our pups needs a little extra car with meds and can be a handful. Erik did a great job with both, sent us regular updates, and our pups were super happy! Definitely recommend sending your pups with him!”

“Yuleivys took care of my dog on a last minute notice and took great care of him while I was gone. She sent many pictures and text updates as well. Tony had a great time and I would really recommend Yuleivys as a dog sitter!”

“Sylwia took amazing care of my 14-year-old dog, Layla, and I could not be more grateful. From day one, she was attentive, thoughtful, and clearly very experienced with senior dogs. She sent daily updates with photos and detailed notes about Layla’s mood, habits, and what she liked each day, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. On her own initiative, she even added a soft, comfortable material to the bottom of Layla’s crate to make her more comfortable, which meant a lot to me. It was clear that Layla was treated with genuine care and kindness, not just watched over. All of this came at a very reasonable price. I would absolutely trust Sylvia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and responsible pet sitter.”

“Christin was personable, communicative and friendly. Our dog Riker clearly had a great time because he’s been asleep since he got picked up! Thanks, Christin!”

“This was the first time leaving our boys with anyone other than family which was nerve racking. However, Michelle did a great job in putting us at ease sending us pictures daily and keeping us on the loop of how they were doing. We are so very appreciative of her watching our boys and loving them while we were away.”

“Picked up my baby boy today and he was very happy. It’s hard leaving him in boarding especially with new people. Milo was clean and his busy happy self. I just hope he didn’t make anyone crazy. Thank you Darian and Joanet for taking care of my baby boy.”

“Brittany watched my boy Romeo . This was the first time using her and I was always updated everyday on how Romeo was doing . Brittany sent photos and I never had to worry. She’s so sweet and her dog Riley is so adorable. Would definitely use Brittany again. 5 stars !”

“Very friendly. Every thing went well and I felt confident my baby was going to be okay once the meet and greet was done. Lots of freedom for our pup to run around like at home. Secure and fenced in. Thanks for your quick response.”

“One of the best dog sitters anyone can ever ask for, she was my first experience would definitely be using again, could not ask for better and she is very knowledgeable and has amazing reach with the dogs. Amazing person, would highly recommend.”

“Had such a great experience with Jonathan. Super responsive and really easy to work with — scheduling was a breeze. He’s super nice and made the whole process so easy. My dog and cat were happy and well taken care of. Definitely recommend and will book again! 🐾”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 9 when they gifted me my first pup and trained her to do her business outside and never got on furniture or bed. Took care of my sisters two Yorkies years after. Then saved my own puppy Rajah, American pitbull who I trained to be social never had any issues with behavior and did his business outside and trained to walk without pulling leash. Recently passed away from a tumor after 10 years in my care and would have to change his diaper towards the end of his journey on this planet. Also, took care of a large dog while family was out of the state, routine meals and walks. Took care of a Boston terrier while family was out of town. Always take dogs on walks for their health and mine. I currently work from home therefore I will always be home Monday thru Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. When I am not working I will either be working out or in the house studying or reading or cooking. I have a fenced yard with a lot of space for dogs to run around and home is spacious as well for the dogs to be able to roam in the house when we are not outside.
“Couldn’t be happier to work with Jessica on my first Rover booking! Her thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and flexibility made me feel at ease when giving away my pet for the first time. Booked our next stay with her right away.”

“Mariya was great with Clementine. Mariya was kind and caring for Clementine since she is older and wanted tons of love and attention. Mariya made it easy for us to enjoy our vacation knowing Clementine was safe and well cared for.”

“Marisol was absolutely amazing with our pup! She sent us several updates throughout the day, and you can truly tell she has a real passion caring for our furry friends. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“She has been amazing!!! She’s kept me informed every day at all times about Bruiser, and even got him dressed up for her own pup’s birthday party which I found incredibly adorable and so sweet of her to do. I’m glad knowing he’s in safe hands with Dicle and having fun. I will definitely hire her again in the future!”

“Thank you again so much! Guina is hands down the best person to take care of your puppy! Oakley was so excited to go see her and her sweet dogs and he had such a blast as always!”

“Bryanna took such great care of my girl Sky. It was Skys first time staying at somebody else’s home and she was completely at peace and didn’t look anxious when I picked her up. I have found my go to person 😊”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westview
This is my first time leaving my furry baby Buttercup. It was hard for me to do, but with Ms. Yanexis this experience was rather peaceful, my doggy was very happy to stay, I got photos and videos daily of my Buttercup interaction in the home. This wad the best decision I have made by leaving her in Yanexis care. This lady is great with other pet owners animal, she is caring, loving and compassionate. My doggy love her and was very happy in the home. I highly highly recommend ms. Yanexis to any pet owners needing to leave their pets to be care for while being away for a short or long while. The best person to watch your 4 legged furry baby is ms. Yanexis. Rover thank you so so much you all are doing an excellent job when selecting pet caregivers. Thanks again and I will sure be a returning customer. Extremely satisfied with Yanexis H.

AMAZING! She was the best sitter for my pup. I was super nervous leaving him behind but she was so patient with him and welcomed him with so much love he had a great time and not to mention she was super responsive and sent pics and videos everyday. 10/10 recommend and will make sure to book her everytime we go on vacation.

I took a chance on a new sitter, and I'm so glad I did! Matteo and his family made us feel right at home. They were very communicative, sending me videos and photos throughout the day. The highlight was watching my dog, Levi, become best friends with Matteo’s daughter. They came in as strangers and left as great friends. I highly recommend them—10/10!

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with someone caring for my dog! Melissa and her family went above and beyond in every possible way. They were incredibly supportive, attentive, and truly treated my dog like part of their own family. They followed all feeding schedules perfectly, made sure he was comfortable at all hours, and he had an amazing time playing with their dog, they became instant buddies! Melissa also provided daily updates with photos and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind and showed just how happy and well cared for he was. She made sure my dog felt welcomed, loved, and safe from day one. If a 10 star rating were available, I would give it without hesitation that’s how exceptional and attentive she was. If you’re considering leaving your dog with anyone, I truly cannot stress this enough: Melissa is, by miles, the best option you could ever choose.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
