“Monica was amazing . The dogs loved her. She is very reliable and I love that she sent me pictures and videos and full reports about what they did,eat and more. Definitely will use her again!!!”

“Andria is the most responsible, caring, and considerate cat sitter I have ever used!! She is so good with my cats and has even won over my difficult kitty who is usually afraid of cat sitters. Not only does she make sure my cats are taken care of, she also looks after my apartment and cleans up all the messes my cats make while I’m gone- which is above and beyond and makes coming home much nicer! Thank you Andria for taking such good care of my kitties :-)”

About: I have been around dogs and cats all my life. From small breeds to large breeds of dogs and a multitude of different cats. My aunt and cousin have over 7 cats and dogs each, all of which have different attitudes and personalities that I had to learn to cater to. I am a very caring and nurturing individual and I genuinely believe animals can sense that about me. I look forward to meeting your pet and giving them the care they deserve. I recently got let go by my job and am actively looking for work, so I am flexible with hours of care for your pet. If your pet is placed with me, I have enough room in my bedroom for them to play around in. My place is small hence why I would prefer medium to small breeds just so they have adequate space. I love big dogs as well. In the clients home I will respect their boundaries and rules of the house while still providing exceptional care.
“Audrey was really great with my cats, she took care of them, followed all the instructions, and all the time in constantly communication providing details of her drop-in visit. For sure I’ll book her again to take care of them.”

“Daniela is excellent with my cat Jett. She’s on time, makes sure he eats all his food and goes to the bathroom after. She always sends pictures of what he’s doing and loves to play with him! She’s a great sitter and makes sure Jett is safe.”

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family and friends for many years. I love being with animals and will do everything I can to make them comfortable and happy. I’m available for pet boarding daily all weekdays and weekends whenever I’m not at school. I’ll be sure to provide the best care that I can! I have a fenced yard and I live nearby the park so I can exercise and walk your dog however much they need. I also provide care for indoor cats and will keep them safe in my room until they’re confident that they can walk around. I give lots of treats, make sure all of their facilities are clean, and feed them as directed by the owner.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have a pittie of my own whose name is Valentina, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us—they’re not only our best friends but our family. I like to add that I am experienced with different temperaments and able to adapt quickly. Your dog will be treated with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I work full time at an orthodontist office Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 8-6pm. I am free Friday morning or afternoon, Saturday afternoon and sometimes the whole day as I only work two Saturdays a month. I am available Sundays & Monday morning or afternoon as well. My home is a safe and secure environment with a fenced backyard along with an additional gate at the entrance for extra security. I constantly supervise outdoor time and make sure pets are never left unsupervised. I follow your dog’s specific routine, such as their feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions that provided by you. Again, I’m comfortable with different energy levels and temperaments. I will mirror to the best of my capabilities to your dog daily routine to keep things familiar and stress-free. I also like to present consistent updates, photos, and videos to make sure you feel at ease.
“Alyiah was amazing! I hope I have the opportunity to book her again. She dropped and took great care of my cats. Making sure they were fed, they had water, had their litter box clean. She even threw out the litter bags so the house would smell. She played with my cats and was great communicating throughout the whole process. Thank you so much Alyiah for making me feel so comfortable and making this whole experience so much better!”

“Marcos did an amazing job. He did everything I asked of him and more. Very communicative as well. He made sure to give my girl lots of love too which is probably the most important thing in my opinion! Thank you for all your help!!”

“Leo took such good care of my Bonzo. I loved seeing the photos from his visits. Bonzo’s big eyes and smile says it all. Leo was punctual and really good about keeping Bonzo’s feeding schedule. He was also tentative to notes that I left for him.”

About: I've been caring for dogs for some time now. My own personal four dogs, also worked with groups in large dog daycare for 5 years. Pet care is the main part of my daily life because I literally live for my dogs and work with others dogs. It's twenty-four hours In my home I like to spend time outside in my garden with my guys. I have a fenced in area that they can use to play or hangout. I like taking long walks, usually I'm up early to get them out before it's too hot. Two long walks, one in the early morning and the other in the evening, unless it's cool weather then there's another walk during the day. Just keep them stimulated and busy ,that keeps them safe. I like to let them get to know me and see that they're safe, sometimes that means I give them space until they approach me. Just play and show them love.
“Wendy siguió todas mis indicaciones, mi perro es reactivo con los otros perros y no hubo ningún problema en los dias que estuvo al cuidado de wendy, sin duda volveré a reservar con ella”

“Maryjane was awesome!! She did a few drop-in visits and made sure our cat was well taken care of while we were on vacation. Would 100% recommend her and will be using her again!!”

About: However, I've owned pets since 2013 and often dogsit my friends' dogs if they're away for an event, a weekend, or even a week at a time. I lived in Barbados for 2 years, where there are dozens of stray animals roaming the streets. I took in and rehabilitated an orange cat (featured in my photos) that has been brought to the US and is happily living in NYC with her new family. I do not have any pets in my apartment at the moment- my dog, Honey, is across the country with my mom. I have so much love to give pets and enjoy spoiling pets with the attention they deserve. The qualities I have as a graduating medical student directly translate into my care for pets- being punctual, patient, and passionate. I'm a full-time medical student with a fluctuating schedule. My weekends are free for boarding, walks, etc., but weekdays depend on my schedule for the given month. Weekday work schedule typically starts at 7am, and my availability will most often start at 5pm (or earlier some days). I live with my partner in a pet-friendly condominium on the 5th floor. We do not have a private, fenced yard, but we have grass surrounding the condo and a patio with our unit. Our front door has a double key-lock, with no possibility of a pet escaping. It is a large, 2-bedroom condo with plenty of space to roam in the open-concept living room and kitchen. There's plenty of unobstructed room for pet belongings (food, toys, bedding, etc.). I do not have any other animals living in the unit, I do not have a crate, and I love animals sleeping in the room/bed with me (if owner allows).

About: I’ve been caring for dogs ever since I was a little girl. As I got older my interest was to always work with dogs and here I am!! I treat any pet as if they were my own. Dogs deserve all the love and care they can get we don’t deserve them at all!! It doesn’t matter what Size,Breed, or condition they have, Dogs should be treated with care and the fun part is that they all have different personalities so it’ll true be something to learn and enjoy!! I am currently employed and the great thing about it is u can take your pup with me to work so you know your pet will have full supervision. I like to make sure your dogs are active and they enjoy as much time with me so of course with your permission I’ll take them out places like to the dog park etc and also the doggy daycare I work at. I have a fenced yard. After each meal I take them out for potty breaks I also have a park one block away so your pet will enjoy the walks and also play time.

About: Hello. My name pronouncedNe-Ka. I am a lifelong-animal lover. I've had dogs my entire life, and they have always been an important part of my life. I recently lost my 16-year-old Chihuahua, and while my heart is still healing, I realized how much joy being around animals brings me. That's what inspired me to join Rover. I absolutely love dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds. In fact, my love for animals runs so deep that I've been a vegetarian for nearly 20 years. I am very flexible to meet the needs of your pet and make them my top priority while in my care. I allow pets to have whatever you permit them to have-treats, cuddles in the couch we’re just playtime at the park. With plenty of pictures and videos for you. I also have experience with cat sitting. I’m just a woman who loves animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, companionship while you're away, or extra love and attention, I'd be honored to help. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I prefer not to have any in home boarding at my home but in willing to come to yours. If you don’t see a calendar date just reach out to me. Thank you for considering me for your pet care needs. I mostly work from home so my days are flexible. I am flexible to meet the needs of both the pet parent and the pet. I care for pets per the instructions set by the owner. Alyiah is the best! She is very responsible and it’s always a pleasure having her as a pet sitter. My cat loves her so much! He is always so happy to see her and they have a great time together. This is our second time with Alyiah and I know I won’t find anyone better than her!

Marcos is awesome! My kitty loves it when he comes to check on her. He always lets me know what time he’ll be coming, and gives a very comprehensive report on what he did while in my apartment. I love how he gives my girl soo much attention and pets first since she tends to get lonely. Would highly recommend him.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Westview. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
