About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I grew up around all different types of animals ranging from dogs and cats to birds as my whole family are huge animal lovers! I even helped at a doggy daycare that my family owned some time ago.I originally started dog sitting for my family and friends and decided to branch out to help other animal lovers which brought me here on Rover! I currently 2 dogs.My dog Sadie as well as my dog other dog Libby,who are my world! I recently lost my other dog Gunner,who had doggie dementia so I have experience caring for older dogs that have special needs. When they're here ,your dogs will be treated just as how I treat my own , with lots of love and care.
