About: I am a huge animal lover. Grown up with dogs my whole life! I ride horses and am surrounded by all types of animals. Have done a ton of dog/house/farm sitting in my life. I work from home so will give them tons of love and attention! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule, where I can give them lots of love, take them out VERY frequently for walks etc. I am currently in a 2b2b apartment, with plenty of room for a dog to stay. I live just steps from parks and can walk them around the neighborhood extremely easily. Our apartment is extremely dog friendly with treats waiting at the front door of the lobby!
“Juliana was so sweet and out meet and greet ahead of time was fabulous! Our Puppy got along so well with her pups and one other she was watching. Paulie is still sleeping off all the sun and activity he had yesterday!!”

“Franklin had a great time at Richard’s house! Franklin is an older dog, very sweet, affectionate, and alert but low-energy, so a home setting was perfect for his disposition and needs. I’ll definitely be taking Franklin to Richard’s home again!”

“Dante was Great. This was Bubba's first time being babysat by someone that him and I didn't know. Dante kept me updated on Bubba's progress throughout the day which gave me relief because I was just as nervous as Bub. He's very pleasant, excellent in communication, and l can tell that he genuinely love dogs.”

“Yolanda is AMAZING!! She kept me updated throughout the day by sending me texts, pictures, and videos of my little guy and how much fun he was having!! She was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times that allowed us to be very flexible. She clearly loves animals and took great care of my dog, Arlo. I would highly recommend Yolanda and we will definitely be returning clients.”

“I highly recommend Amelie for dog sitting! She made me feel completely comfortable leaving my dog with her for the first time and even took her pretty last minute. She communicated promptly and my dog was happy and in good hands!!! My dog enjoyed playing and cuddling with her.”

About: As a lifelong pet parent to my own two dogs and cat, I understand that pets are family. My experience ranges from providing a "home away from home" in my own space to offering reliable, attentive care within yours. I pride myself on being a trustworthy and caring sitter who pays close attention to every detail of your pet’s routine. Whether it’s a long walk, a snuggle, or managing specific needs, I treat every animal with the same devotion and patience I give my own. As a nurse, my life is built around providing compassionate, high-quality care, and I bring that same dedicated mindset to pet-sitting. My part-time nursing schedule allows me the flexibility to spend large blocks of time at home, ensuring your pet is never lonely and receives consistent, attentive supervision. Because I have school-aged children, our home is a lively and loving environment where pets are seamlessly integrated into our daily rhythms. Whether I’m home for the day or visiting your house, my routine is centered on being reliable, present, and nurturing for your furry family members. Whether in my home or yours, my priority is maintaining your pet’s unique routine to ensure they feel secure and loved. In my home, your pet becomes part of our family, enjoying a safe, supervised environment with my own dogs and cat. In your home, I am meticulous about following your specific instructions, from feeding schedules to favorite walking routes. Drawing on my nursing background, I am highly observant of behavior and well-being, providing frequent updates and photos so you have total peace of mind. I focus on creating a calm, predictable atmosphere where every pet gets the individual attention and 'home-style' comfort they deserve.
About: I take a personal approach and really get to know your fur children. I love animals of all kinds. I truly enjoy being around them! I have a good amount of time to care for your furry friends as I am doing a job pivot. Please reach out. I look forward to meeting your little friends! My fur babies are exactly that, my babies. So, they have free “run” of the house under close supervision, of course. Their comfort is just as important as mine.
About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have a cat named Pumpkin and a guinea pig named Cozy, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. I have a pet-friendly townhouse community that I live in. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.

“Matthew was great. He took wonderful care of Sophie and I believe she wanted to stay. He took Soohienon multiple walks and treats her as his own. He even accepted the opportunity to watch Sophie in short notice! Matthew if we were staying in the area, you’d be our new best friend! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Sophie!”

“We wanted board our pup for an extended time period of time. Sam evaluated our Lab and recommended a trail daycare. His dog is amazing. He took care of our Lab well and he seemed visibly happy & content. Looking forward to have our Lab’s boarding with Sam.”

“Casie and her family were amazing!! Since this was my first time leaving my dog boomer with a sitter I was a little bit nervous but she immediately calmed my nerves the second I dropped him off by showing me around and asking so many questions to give him the best experience. Casie sent many updates throughout the day (pictures and videos) so that I could see that boomer was having a fun time. DEFINITELY would recommend and I will be booking again!!”

“Danita’s family were very kind and loving to our dogs. We had a last minute need for care and they were very quick to respond and agree to care for our dogs. I highly recommend them!”

About: I have had pets in my home since I was born, and currently have a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old back at home with my mom now. I fostered a pup from ACCT Philly for a few months, volunteered at the Humane Society, and often dog-sit for friends/ family. I have class every day for 1-3 hours, but I am open anytime outside of my class hours and have a super flexible, accommodating schedule. I follow their request and expectation for how their dog is to be treated and cared for, while giving them appropriate attention and exercise. I ensure I am present to care for the dog and ensure all their needs are met.

As of September 2026, there are 2,303 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Westtown. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Westtown commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,303 sitters in Westtown, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
