“Sorry for the late review. I've been doing the grandma thing for the past 2 weeks. I am a widow and I live alone many miles from family. My dogs, Margot and Molly, have become my life. When I learned that they were not invited to the party, I almost declined the invitation. Through a trusted friend, I learned about Rover. I took a chance and booked a time with Dawn. WOW! It's like taking your child to kindergarten for the first day and they walk away from you without looking back. I like to think the girls are good judges of character. Well Dawn took their leashes and they walked away from me without looking back They were not the least stressed when I picked them up later. They had play time with other dogs, they had their dinner and they were ready for a good night's sleep when I picked them up. I got updates on where they were and what they were doing. I couldn't be happier than I was with Dawn's care. This experience was a golden buzzer for me.”

About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!

Every Sunday, I prepared her fresh meals—meal-prepping wet food to mix with her dry kibble to ensure a balanced and enjoyable diet. I built my routine around her needs, including walks before leaving home and as soon as I returned, along with consistent activity throughout the day to keep her happy and engaged. I personally trained her, and she was crate-trained, comfortably settling in at night. She knew a variety of commands, including roll over, paw, other paw, along with all basic obedience cues. During the time I wasn’t actively caring for Penny, I invested in learning more about dog behavior by reading books and educating myself on different breeds, temperaments, and training approaches. This allows me to adapt my care style to meet each dog’s unique needs. I’m also an aunt to a husky named Rocky and a terrier mix named Marty, so I’m familiar with varying energy levels and personalities. Whether your dog is high-energy, routine-driven, or more relaxed, I adjust my approach to ensure they feel comfortable and understood. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment and only accept pets from one family at a time to ensure focused, attentive care. I am very mindful of each pet’s routine—whether that includes specific feeding schedules, multiple walks per day, medication, or limits on how long they can be left alone. I maintain a structured schedule and am typically available before and after work, as well as on weekends. With advance notice, I can accommodate more involved care needs. My goal is to provide consistency so your pet feels at ease and at home. I also believe communication is key, so I provide regular updates, photos, and videos to keep you connected and reassured while your pet is in my care. My goal is always to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely happy. 🐾 Pet care is something I intentionally plan around and prioritize in my daily routine. I tailor my care based on each dog’s specific needs—such as the minimum number of walks per day, how long they can be left alone, and whether they require medication at set times. I’m typically home in the evenings and fully available on weekends. With at least two weeks’ notice, I can also request time off for bookings that require more daytime attention. When I do step out, it’s usually for short periods (5 hours or less), and I return home for the remainder of the day aside from occasional errands. I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so I make it a point each day to incorporate walks, playtime, feeding, and quality one-on-one attention. My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I also make it a standard practice to send regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can feel connected and at ease while your pet is in my care. In terms of availability, I maintain a structured schedule and am typically available before and after work, as well as on weekends. For bookings that require a higher level of care—such as frequent walks (e.g., every 2 hours) or detailed routines—I kindly ask for at least two weeks’ notice. To ensure the highest level of attention and safety, I only accept pets from one family at a time. This allows me to maintain a clean space and give your pup(s) my full focus, especially since managing interactions between unfamiliar dogs can require extra supervision and quick response in case of emergencies. When pets come from the same household, I’m able to rely on the dog parents’ insight into their behavior and routines, which helps me provide more personalized care from the start. I live in an apartment with a secure balcony, a dog park, and a safe, walkable neighborhood with night lighting for added visibility during walks. The building also has secured cameras at the entrance for an extra layer of safety. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I ensure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and following their usual routines for feeding, exercise, and rest.

I’m currently in between jobs and grad school, so my days are very open! I am up early and live an active lifestyle, so walks and playtime (and chill time) are more than welcome! I am available to care for your pet at my home or from yours. I do have a 10 year old Westie at home who gets along with others just fine! However if you prefer the individualized attention, I am more than happy to care for your pet from the comfort of their own home.

About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. We have a puppy, so I am in and out all day to take him outside and play with him. I am also home with my kids all summer, so we are at home a lot! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. They are both crate trained, although our senior dog is left out when we leave. I have an extra small crate (or you can bring one). We love dogs and would treat yours like our own.

About: Hello! Our names are Darling and Kolby. We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and a wide variety of breeds. We have plenty of space to host your dog, including a fully fenced yard where they can safely play and explore. We currently have two cats and a Golden Aussie of our own, and we grew up surrounded by animals such as Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas, Poodles, and more. Because of this, we are very comfortable managing a multi-pet household. If your pet has any allergies or special dietary needs, we are happy to accommodate them. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your pet while you’re away, we’d be happy to help! I work remotely so I am able to spend more time with my dog during the day, and he gets to play in the yard for the majority of the day. We provide lots of exercise with yard play, walks and trips to the dog park. As well as mentally stimulating activities that our dog requires.
