About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in drop-in visits and dog walking, but I'll be able to petsit for as long as you need with enough notice! For pet-sitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!

“This is the first time I used Rover and left Hercules to be taken care by someone who was not part of the family. He is a senior and very into his ways so I was apprehensive about how he would take it. From the photos Cyndi provides daily I could tell in the first day he was relaxed and really into Cyndi. She took a great care of him and it was great to have daily updates and a place where he does need to share with other dogs. I would highly recommend Cyndi and I will definitely book more stays with her.”

About: I have had pets my whole life and enjoy playing and socializing with them. I have walked other peoples dogs and taken care of friends and neighbors cats. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs. I have a very flexible schedule. And I can work around your needs. I have a fenced in yard and I have a cat that is used to being around a dog. If your dog cannot be around cats, I can make sure that they do not interact.

“Caitlin was a fantastic dog sitter! I contacted her somewhat last minute to watch my cavalier King Charles for the weekend and she was able to accommodate. I did a meet and greet and saw that she has a perfect place for dogs and a huge fenced-in backyard. Her and her husband are very attentive and I could tell they really care about the animals they watch. Very happy to have found her and will definitely be using her again. She even gave me a write-up report at the end with a little story of Berkeley's adventure!”
