About: Hi there! I’m a second-year veterinary student who loves animals. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal clinic for the past two years, gaining hands-on experience with dogs and cats. I would love the chance to hang out with your furry friend! I am both BLS CPR and Fear Free certified and have experience administering oral, IM and IV medication to dogs and cats. I currently have a very flexible schedule- during the weekdays, I am available before 10 am, during lunch (12-1), and after 330 pm every day. I am committed to creating a calm, safe environment for your pet. My family currently has a 3-year-old doodle and an almost 14-year-old Keeshond, so I’m familiar with both high-energy pups and senior pets.

“I can’t say enough positive things to describe how wonderful Nicole(Nikki) is with cats. She is THE cat whisperer. In her profile, she describes how she is able to work with shy kitties. She is 100% correct with that statement. One of my two cats tends to hide when there is a new person that comes into the home. Not with Nicole. My shy kitty greeted her at the front door as soon as she walked in. That is a first for her. It was immediately apparent that both my kitties were in love with her like she had been caring for them for years. It was such a beautiful thing to see. If you are looking for someone to take care of your kitty or kitties, you absolutely must hire Nicole. Moving forward, she is my new permanent choice for taking care of the girls while I am away.”

About: I’ve had my family dog, a vizsla for 9 years, in a house that fostered and helped other dogs. As his primary human, I have a lot of experience with high energy, big, clumsy, and loving dogs. Long playtimes, hikes in Ashland, Whitehall, Hopkinton and cozy naps are the norm for me, and guaranteed for your furry friend. When I am not in college, my life revolves around my pets. The same would be true for any furry guests. After waking up, I feed the dogs, and then take them out for morning sunbathing and bathroom break. At 11, it’s time for morning exercise. At 1, when playtime ends (although sometimes my dog gets tired early!) it’s time for afternoon nap. 4pm is a second play or walk. At 6pm it’s time for dinner, and then evening enrichment. Finally, bedtime for pets is 9 or 10pm My home has a large yard with 2acres of forested land and a creek. It is not fenced however. I watch any animals in my care when they go outside at all times, in case of any accident. There are lots of beds and couches for rest, and although my dog is not crate trained, I am familiar with the practice, and can crate dogs if need be. Pets are family, so I try and keep an eye on them as much as possible. Cleaning products are pet friendly, and doors to cupboards are locked.

“Maya did a wonderful job taking care of my Lily. She sent lots of pictures and her updates were very informative. She also gave her meds, which Lily did not make easy, but she got it done. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Lily was well taken care of. I cannot give her enough stars!! I would book her again!!”

About: I’ve been around animals since the beginning of my life. I grew up with cats & dogs, small & large. I started learning about dog training in 2020, I trained my first service dog in 2022. I’m always working to learn more & continuously improve my knowledge. Body language is a huge factor when it comes to taking care of dogs & making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. I’m great with puppies as well & can help out with basic training. Any questions please feel free to ask! I work from home, so I start my day by taking my dog out to our apartment property’s dog park to use the bathroom, & get play time in, then I bring him in to feed him breakfast. If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

About: I have had my two small dogs, Ricky and Fiona, for 16 yrs, and had a horse for 30 years, as my sister in LA said, when you adopt a pet, it's as if they have hit the lottery, what a nice thing to say, I love pets and love exercise so Rover would be the best way to go. My dogs are senior at 16 so I am used to seniors, medicating, etc....and cats, have had lots of rescue cats, Sally is my present sweet girl. I was laid off in June so I do need a job and will have lots of time for your pet, hikes in the park! I walk them in my neighborhood, or if cool enough we go to the nearby park, very fun! They always get lots of pets and treats as allowed, I do prefer small dogs, probably as big as a Boston Terrier would be ideal, and friendly is important!

“Mariann did a great job communicating with us and being flexible about scheduling. She gave my elderly cat her pill twice daily and kept us in the loop. I felt very comfortable leaving Missy in her capable hands!”

About: I’ve cared for every kind of animal from cats and dogs to fish and horses. I absolutely adore animals! Since 2020 I have sustained a back injury that limits my mobility, however while I can’t run, I can walk confidently and love to walk with dogs especially. By lending me your furry friends to play with, you’re also helping me stay mobile. So pet care is more than just a gig to me, it is a blessing that allows me to pet all the cats and dogs, while keeping me healthy. For overnights and house sitting, I will simply request you allow my wife to be with me. We’re a package deal, 2 sitters for the price of one! We are a clean and responsible duo, you’ll surely love us! Thank you for considering me for your sitting needs! I promise to love your friends like they’re my own, keep them safe, entertained and well fed. My schedule is entirely open until I return to college in September, and even then I may be able to continue pet care. I will update my availability as it changes, so you’ll always know when I’m available. I will be caring for any pets at your home, I find this to be most ideal as the pets are in a familiar location so it will be less stressful for them overall. I also have 3 very timid cats at home who don’t get along well with new animals. For over night service such as house sitting, my wife will be with me. Don’t worry, we are a very clean and responsible duo. Clear communication is important, so that we both understand what is expected and needed.

“Erica did a fabulous job for us! She visited our cat Mimi every other day while we were on vacation, following our care instructions perfectly. She left things tidy & wrote us a nice note which we found upon return. She is very personable & obviously loves animals We've already booked her to care for Mimi during another upcoming trip!”

“Melissa did a great job of watching my two kitties, Mu and Tau. She is very easy to communicate with, sent lots of pictures, and made me feel very comfortable leaving them with her and her other pets. Thanks Melissa!!”

“How lucky you would be to have Kimberly take care of your pets! I can vouch for the fastidious care she gives to her own two dogs and cat. She is a loving, caring pet owner and will certainly treat your pets as if they were hers. You can rest easy, knowing that your pets are in excellent hands. I have no problem at all in recommending Kimberly wholeheartedly for this job! She has owned so many different animals through the years and each of them has gotten the best of care.”

Christopher G.
“Chris has been friends Cleo since about 2008. Cleo is a cat with a wide vocabulary. Chris understands nuances in most of the meows. More importantly he knows the difference between “feed me” and “give me attention” which are very similar vocalizations but different. He is also very good about little details like not petting her in spots where she is arthritic.”
