About: I’ve been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up I learned to read animal body language long before I ever read people’s. I’ve spent more than a decade helping families care for their pets in all kinds of situations. These days I share my home with two cats who run the place with a mix of chaos and charm. Even though cats are my daily coworkers, I love dogs just as much. I’ve worked with everything from wiggly puppies to older dogs who need a calmer pace, from aloof felines to chatty, cuddle bug cats. A lot of my experience has been with animals who have trauma histories or who struggle with anxiety, fear, or occasional aggression. That’s a space where I feel especially confident. As a social worker, I’m a deeply empathetic and patient person and I stay grounded even when an animal is having a rough moment. People tend to joke that I’m the guy that animals choose even when they don’t normally like people. I take that as the highest compliment. Whether your pet wants to play, cuddle, explore on a walk, or just be understood, I meet them exactly where they are. I want your pet to feel safe, seen, and cared for every single visit. If they leave a little happier or a little more relaxed, then I’ve done my job. I work in community mental health during the week, and my schedule is pretty flexible. I can usually fit in walks and drop-ins throughout the day Monday through Friday, and I tend to have good availability on weekends too. Spending time with animals is one of the highlights of my day! The work I do can be emotionally heavy at times, so being around pets gives me a calm, steady kind of balance. I’m happy to find a routine that works well for you and your pet. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on making both the animal and the household feel respected and at ease. I follow the routines you already have in place, whether that’s a dog’s usual walking route, a cat’s exact feeding schedule, or the little rituals that help your pet feel grounded. I pay close attention to body language so I can adjust my approach for shy, anxious, or high-energy pets. For dog walks, I make sure leashes are secure, gates and doors are checked twice, and the pace matches whatever your dog needs that day. Some dogs want a good power walk and some want to sniff every leaf on the block, and I’m happy to follow their lead. For drop-ins, I focus on what your pet needs in that moment. Cats might want playtime, quiet company, or a mix of both. Dogs might want a bit of play, some gentle comfort, or just someone steady around them. I keep things tidy, clean up after them, and make sure your home looks the same as when you left. The goal is simple: your dog or cat feels safe and understood, your home feels respected, and you know everything was handled with genuine care. That steady, mindful presence matters to me, especially in work built on trust.

I have a senior dog of my own who has some medical issues that come with getting older, so I have experience with rambunctious as well as laid back, and dogs who need special medication. Whether it's quick walks or slow with lots of sniffing, or just some play time we'll interact according to your dog's needs.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 9. I’ve only had German shepherds, but love all dogs big or small. Your dog gets treated like my own dog ! I work from home three days a week and am fairly flexible with advanced notice. Also on the days I do go into the office I’m available after work. I’m also available Saturday and Sundays I live across the street from the walking trail and also next door to a walking path. I also can drive somewhere if there’s a certain spot you like walking your dog.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting since I was 16 years old. I have experience doing multiple overnight visits with both cats and dogs. I’m also confident handling energetic dogs on walks. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible, so I’m essentially available from Monday-Sunday. My neighborhood has a walking trail that leads into Stratton Brook Park so we can definitely go for some long walks if that’s what your dog requires. I’m a recent college graduate living at home with my parents. I work from home right now so my availability is pretty flexible. We have an unfenced yard but definitely big enough to roam around comfortably on an extended leash. I think on my profile it says no dogs allowed on furniture and beds, I don’t know how to change that but dogs are allowed on furniture in my house.
