“Perrin played with our kitties them communicated well, sending daily pictures and updates. We usually get home and the kitties are stressed and overwhelmed. This time, we got home and the kitties were relaxed and happy. Will definitely go to Perrin again and recommend to anyone else looking for quality cat sitting.”

“Ysobel is fantastic! She took great care of our dogs while we were out of town. We had really limited cell service but she was fantastic with communication and took lots of pictures. She went above and beyond and brought in our mail and trash cans from the curb. She is fantastic to work with and we can’t wait to book with her again!”

“I was hesitant on who to watch my dogs while away. Alexis made me very comfortable with her she showed love to my fur babies. Highly recommend. She sent daily pictures and updates on how the dogs were doing”

About: Ive had a dog as long as I can remember and volunteereed at animal shelters in my area for years. I love animals of all kinds and being around them, and look forward to helping with your furry friends! I hope to have a future in the vet tech industry as well. I will treat your pet like family and make sure they are loved and cared for properly! I have plenty of free time to look after your furry friends while im adapting to being in a new town. I am free most days and able to check on your friends! I have a part time job with short shifts (4 hour shifts typically) so I am never away for long! I can keep your fur baby company and provide a safe space for them based on their needs. While my home is not currently available, I am happy to make sure your pet isnt alone in theirs while you work or tend to obligations.
“Tami is awesome! She comes to visit my puppy, Dumpling, a few times a week while my husband and I are at work, and it is so great to know that Dumpling is getting a break from the monotony of the day to have some playtime and love. Tami was even nice enough to give me a bunch of puppy supplies (bed, toys, blankets, etc) that her dog recently grew out of, wow!!”
“She was wonderful with our cats! We have a shy kitten and even she was able to pet and get her to come out with we were gone! She made us feel comfortable about leaving our cats and we would definitely rebook her again!”

“New to the area and first time Rover user and had been anxious about leaving my dogs for an extended number of days. Nicole was very good and with our dogs and our cats. She spent a lot of time with them and gained their trust. I would highly recommend her and will definitely request her services again in the upcoming months.”

About: Grew up on a farm. Have always had dogs and cats in my life (and a few other critters too;) Happy to care for yours while you’re away. I am retired but would rather be semi retired. I’m looking for enjoyment and I love being around and caring for animals. I’m available weekdays. Weekends on advanced notice. I care for eight hens, one small yorki-poo and a tuxedo kitten that took up residence in the chicken coop everyday and I can care for your animals while you’re away.
“First time using Rover and Marsha made it comfortable and easy. Met us and the dogs before sitting and sent us pictures and it was a great experience and I will definitely book with her again. Thank you ?”

About: I love animals and they love me! I have been pet sitting for 3 years and have several repeat clients. I have had medical needy dogs I care for, senior dogs, and so many more. I love to help reduce their stress when their family is gone. I make it my job. I am there for the pets so I work my routine around them. Our pets are our family members and I work to give them the care and love they desire while the family is absent. I ask clients questions before hand, ask for a full list of instructions of what the pets require at bed time, meal time, potty time, and kenneling. I ask to meet the clients pets before the pet sitting date so their pets have met me and ask them to show me where they keep all the pet supplies so I can make sure they can leave their pets in my care without having to worry about a thing.
“Jessica was great with my 4 while I was gone for 10 days! Very reliable and did everything perfect with feedings and more. It was such a relief to not have to worry about all the Bubbas, while we were gone, like I have in the past with, no shows while away. We will definitely be using her again.”

“Shelley was a wonderful sitter, she did a great job taking care of our pup who's a bit skeptical of new people & not used to being alone. She was very sweet, attentive, & took great care of him. Would highly recommend! Thanks Shelley!”

“Lori watched our Zoey again for a few days this month, and as always, she took such great care of her. Zoey is getting older and has some health issues so we always worry when we leave her, but Lori plays with and loves on her and sends us the most adorable photos. It's clear Lori truly cares about our pets ... and also that Zoey, who is pretty picky about who she will come around to, loves Lori too. We feel so blessed to know that our girl is so well taken care of when we have to leave her. Thank you, again as always, Lori.”

“Great first impression! I left my newly adopted dog and old dog for the first time and THe new dog was throwing up before I left and needed a vet appointment while I was away. Sarah is calm and measured in her response to dealing with unexpected issues. She has a lot of knowledge and experience with animals and is mature and reliable. Was also flexible. Will hire again!”

I think a Wren is a fantastic person. She was very accommodating with meeting Zeus and I. Zeus warmed up to her immediately. I instantly felt comfortable giving her the key to my house so she could care for Zeus while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. I will definitely be using her again for my future vacations. I esp appreciated the photos and mini updates while I was away. Much appreciated!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Richland. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
