We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks). Before Indy and Loki, I cared for two cats who each lived to 18 years old, providing them with a happy, well-loved life. During that time, I became experienced with administering insulin shots, pills, capsules, and liquid medications, and I’m attentive to the subtle behaviors and patterns that signal a pet’s needs. My home features multiple pet gates for safe separation when needed, a second floor for flexible space, and a large, fully fenced backyard with lush grass. I live in a quiet, flat, dog walk friendly neighborhood . While I’m not currently sitting cats, I’m happy to provide dogs with consistent care, attention, food, and any required medication. Because I work from home, I can accommodate nearly any reasonable request. I am able to take frequent breaks and often spend that time playing with my two dogs or taking them on walks. They are let out at regular intervals and fed twice a day. I can keep your pet within my view at all times while I’m home and can accommodate a crate if you prefer. About: I have a huge fenced in yard, your pets will have a ton of attention and be well taken care of, they can be indoor and we go outdoors often tons of toys and freedom besides rules you give! I have experience with all animals and breeds, no complaints about any of them. I'll work with any animal you have. I'm flexible I work from home and can give a lot of attention to your pet. I can house sit, go to your house or they can come to mine, I have a open schedule. I feed, give water, play outside and inside, provide toys even, I have a huge fenced in yard but also a line with a leash going from one end to the other for dogs or even cats to be able to play outside safely, I listen to rules and would always make sure your home is locked up and won't forget anything. Dexter is not very keen on any dog bigger than his sister and a meet and greet to determine if he would be ok with a big dog would be advised. Mya loves all dogs and loves to play play play! Our little girls also adores dogs and is very gentle and nice with ours, much to our surprise as we thought she may pound on them or pull and poke at them, but she’s so sweet and gentle when petting and talking (babbling) to them. I work very part time in a veterinary clinic just to keep my license up but have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m able to drop in every 4-5 hours as need to provide potty breaks and exercise. I am very experienced and have cared for a wide range of pets. My medical background helps provide expertise with those special needs loved ones.
About: Ever since I was little, I have been surrounded by animals. Whether it is farm animals or pets, I have always loved being around all different personalities. I have always been the go-to for friends and family, mainly dog and cat sitting, but I have experience with chickens, horses, alpacas, goats, sheep, donkeys, ducks, bearded dragons, and fish. I moved back home to Tri cities after living in Portland for 2 years. My husband and I have a little one on the way and it has been hard to find a job. I am looking to save up some money for the baby and to treat ourselves when we can. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits and have had a few pet care jobs in the past. What helps me do my best is when owners leave a clear list of instructions—especially for feeding routines (if needed), any medications, and how your pet prefers to take them. I work best with a written guide so I don’t miss any important details and can provide consistent care. During visits, I make sure your pet is well cared for, comfortable, and happy. Whether that means going for a walk, playing, feeding, or just spending quality time with them, I adjust to your pet’s needs. I really enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and seeing their playful, goofy side. When your pet is happy and relaxed, I know I’m doing my job right—and that makes me happy too.

“Carmen was a life saver! We needed a last minute sitter for the 4th of July weekend. Not only did Carmen respond quickly, but also did some schedule shifting to accommodate our last minute needs. We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks).
