“We so appreciate Carol's experience, and know that Goldie is in great hands with her. Our first multi-day time away from our senior dog, and we were nervous. But Carol noticed what our dog needed, communicated with us, and made sure those needs were met. Such a relief! Thank you Carol, for your caring and your care!”

“Patrick was amazing with Griffey! Griffey became friends quickly with their dogs and looked like he had a blast playing the whole week. Patrick was amazing about sending updates and pictures, and was very organized with making sure all of Griffey’s things came back with him. Griffey came home a very happy dog and even learned a new cool trick!”

“Mykenzie and her husband took amazing care of our dog who needed a little more attention than typical drop off. Great communication/pic updates and lovely home/yard! Would absolutely book again!”

“I’m so happy to have a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. The whole family is involved and loves on my pups. They love to stay there and Robert is always great about sending pics and updates, which I appreciate!”

“Trisha and Dan did such a great job watching our pup! They asked thoughtful questions before we left, kept me updated on how things were going, and went over and above to make our dog feel comfortable, loved, and safe. They provided an nice, clean environment and took our dog for a walk every day. They are kind and trustworthy. I highly recommend them!”

“Carmen was a life saver! We needed a last minute sitter for the 4th of July weekend. Not only did Carmen respond quickly, but also did some schedule shifting to accommodate our last minute needs. We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks). Carmen was always prompt and courteous with communication on anything we needed. We would absolutely recommend Carmen to anyone. 12/10! Thank you Carmen! Roman had a blast!”

“I received daily pictures and videos of my dog. She came back to me brushed and in good spirits. 10/10 would recommend this sitter again, and will be rebooking when I need it. Excellent care!”

“We could not have wished for any better sitter for Louie. Orlando was very responsive and sent daily pictures and videos. Louie loved their dogs and enjoyed the daily trips to the dog park or walks. Seeing Louie cuddle with Orlando and relax on comfortable blankets showed us that Louie is perfectly taken care of.”

“Sue and John are amazing and took incredible care of Gunner! In fact, I don’t think Gunner wanted to leave their house and his new friend Brownie! We will use them again in a heartbeat!”

“We highly recommend Mekena and if we ever need someone to dog sit again we will definitely be coming back! Mekena took great care of our senior dog! She was attentive to all his medical needs and grooming. She sent pictures and updates which was really appreciated! I would give more stars if I could!”

“Aimee was fantastic with our dogs. She booked them last minute when our other plans fell through. Since it was our first time boarding our dogs, it was a bit nerve-wracking, but Aimee made the experience smooth and comfortable. She sent us daily updates and pictures. We’ll definitely book with her again and recommend her to our friends and family!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Richland
Patrick was great with my dog. I received updates and pictures consistently. If I messaged him he would reply back quickly. His house and yard were very sufficient for her and his two dogs. She has a poor appetite when I’m out of town, he made sure that she had extra time to eat, and encouraged her to eat. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Sidney was so great to work with and sent lots of photos and updates about how our girly was doing! This was the longest we had left our pup with someone and she can sometimes be a handful as she’s young so we were a tiny bit nervous but Sidney gave us a lot of peace of mind and communicated great. Would definitely use again :) thank you!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
