“Patrick was amazing with Griffey! Griffey became friends quickly with their dogs and looked like he had a blast playing the whole week. Patrick was amazing about sending updates and pictures, and was very organized with making sure all of Griffey’s things came back with him. Griffey came home a very happy dog and even learned a new cool trick!”

“Carol is such a wonderful pet sitter. It was Carli's first time away from home and Carol not only made me feel comfortable about leaving her but also sent lots of pictures and videos showing Carli happy and having fun with the other pets. It was a great experience for both of us. Carol is very knowledgeable about all dogs and we highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to love your pet while you are away.”

“Great experience with Mykenzie. Received lots of updates and photos throughout the stay. My dog had a great time hanging out in her spacious yard and on her couch. Awesome communication throughout the process. Will definitely be rebooking with her in the future.”

“Lara took such wonderful care of our old girl, Dixie! She was incredibly attentive, patient, and loving with her, and made Dixie feel right at home. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was comfortable, happy, and being so well cared for while we were away. We’re so thankful for Lara and would absolutely trust her with Dixie again!”

“Sue and John are amazing and took incredible care of Gunner! In fact, I don’t think Gunner wanted to leave their house and his new friend Brownie! We will use them again in a heartbeat!”

“Carmen was great! Extremely communicative from the start, Carmen was knowledgeable and careful for our dogs stay. We were passing through town and needed a safe space for our dogs to hang out during the hot day. The home is set up for dogs and we felt comfortable knowing our dogs were in good hands. Compared to other profiles we were looking at, Carmen seemed to understand dog behavior and easily handled our larger dogs, including a 9 month old (50#+) puppy. Highly recommend!”

“Trisha and Daniel are awesome. We are always worried when we have to leave our dog for some times. They're taking great care of my Lupin with regular updates. Trisha even cooked chicken for him! Lupin is usually a very picky eater, but has been doing well with them. We wish we know Trisha and Daniel sooner! Highly recommended to any dog parents!”

“Orlando and his family took awesome care of our special-needs fur baby. She was very happy and obviously spoiled. We appreciated the regular updates and photos. We will definitely be back.”

“I had such a great experience with her watching my dog while I was away for the weekend! She was quick to respond, kept me updated, and sent lots of pictures, which gave me peace of mind while I was gone. My dog looked so happy and well taken care of when I got back. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“Makena took great care of my dog. She sent updates throughout the week and even included a few videos. Makena was very nice and understanding of dog specific personality traits. I will be using Mackena again next time I need to board my dog.”

“Our dog was super happy staying with Robert and family. Well definitely use them again. I really appreciated the updates and photos to show he was settling in. Robert was really responsive and accommodating.”

“Wonderful experience! Their family took great care of our doggies, kept us updated with photos, and made sure our pups were happy and loved. Highly recommended and will definitely be rebooking with Holly in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Richland
Sidney was so great to work with and sent lots of photos and updates about how our girly was doing! This was the longest we had left our pup with someone and she can sometimes be a handful as she’s young so we were a tiny bit nervous but Sidney gave us a lot of peace of mind and communicated great. Would definitely use again :) thank you!

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
