We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks). We cannot recommend Mayra highly enough. From the moment we left Olive in her care, we felt completely at ease — which is something we honestly haven’t experienced before after a previous bad experience with dog sitting. We were naturally a bit anxious going into this booking, but Mayra made the entire occasion completely stress-free and nerve free from start to finish. She went above and beyond keeping us updated with constant photos and videos, which meant the absolute world to us. Seeing Olive so happy, comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely cared for gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It never once felt like Olive was “just another dog” — Mayra treated her with so much love, attention, and care. The communication was incredible throughout, and the level of thoughtfulness and kindness she showed honestly exceeded all expectations. You can immediately tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. We are beyond grateful and thankful to Mayra for looking after our pup Olive so wonderfully.
