“Robert and family are my dogs’ home away from home. They are always excited to be there and get all the same love, attention, and care their own pets do. Thank you!”

“wonderful experience, my dog was in good hands and the home is set up for a wonderful dog sitting experience. Thank you to Patrick and enjoyed the updates while i was away, it made me feel connected to Maggie while we were apart”

“Really pleased with Aimee and the care she provided for our doggo Whiskey! We were really comfortable with leaving our fur-kiddo with her. Beautiful home, nice, large yard. Aimee is great at communicating and we really enjoyed the updates and pictures of our doggy. Highly recommend and will use her services again!!”

“Mango had the best time ever. She is totally wiped out and we can tell she misses your family! Thank you so much for taking care of our girl - we sooo appreciate you guys!!”

“Tyler did a good job updating us with how our dog was doing daily with a combination of videos and pictures. Tyler's dog Murphy was so sweet, gentle, and playful with our dog. She seemed happy and healthy at the end of her week. The videos showed her having so much fun running back and forth with their dog Murphy at the beginning of her stay, then tired out and right at home towards the end. Tyler did great when our dog required some time warming up to Murphy at first, and Murphy was very calm and welcoming with our barking and energetic husky. When we forgot our dog's food he was willing to get the food she normally ate which was more than expected.”

“Sirene was great to work - with very kind and communicative. My cat loved her immediately and felt right at home with her. I definitely recommend her to others and will be using her again myself ☺️.”

“Lara was absolutely wonderful with Scooby! She sent tons of photos and regular updates, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Scooby clearly had a fantastic time and especially loved playing with Wally. He came home happily tired, which is always a great sign! We really appreciated how well Lara cared for him and kept us in the loop. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again soon! Highly recommend Lara!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Cooper! She and her kids loved on him, played with him, and took him on walks during his 4-night stay. It was so comforting knowing he was being treated like part of the family. We came home to a happy, well-loved pup. We highly recommend her! ❤️🐾”

About: I’ve had dogs since I could remember. I currently have three dogs and they always enjoy having another friend come over to hang out with! I work full time Monday through Thursday but am flexible with being able to work from home on specific days. Our weekends are spent at home spending time in the yard or going on walks in our local neighborhood parks. I have a fenced yard that holds a garden and chicken coop that gives our dogs a great spot for new smells. Dogs are all welcome to stay inside if that is their preference and we are able to have them in their crate if preferred.
“Anastasia was super sweet to send pictures and updates every day. She asked me about concerns to ensure his happiness and health, which I really appreciated, and went on extra walks with him. Hiro has often come home sick or injured after Rover stays, but with Anastasia he was happy and healthy!”

“We were initially referred to Isabella by our dog trainer and it was an excellent experience. Our puppy is skittish and has past trauma, so we are always worried about her well being away from home. Isabella was really caring, proactive, and knowledgeable. Our dog bonded with her right away and came back home very happy to have spent time with Isabella and her doggies. Things went so smoothly that Isabella was even able to cut our dog's nails and check her anal glands.”

Tyler watch Josey for 5 days, he did a 5 star great job, Sent pictures every day. Often showing Muphy ( his dog) in the picture, reassuring me they got along!. Our flight plans got changed on the return day, and Tyler was very accommodating, we needed Josey to stay an extra day. Will hire Tyler again.

Our baby Emma had such a great time with Alicia! ❤️ We loved that she was able to socialize, have fun, and feel comfortable while in her care. We reached out with a last-minute request, and Alicia was so accommodating and able to take care of our fur baby. She also kept us updated with pictures, which gave us peace of mind knowing Emma was happy and having a good time. We really appreciate Alicia and would definitely book with her again! 🐾💕

Jenna once again did an outstanding job with our sweet old lady Daisy! Sent the cutest photos and sweet little daily updates! Daisy can be quite picky about kids or men sometimes and Jenna does a great job monitoring energy levels and making sure our pup is comfortable! We've booked with her before and can't wait to book with her again! Feels like a vacation for Daisy while we're away too!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their West Pasco home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your West Pasco.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your West Pasco sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
