Owning our own business means we’re very flexible and consistently at home working and being fully available for our guests and family dogs, we love that the dogs have the flexibility to have free range and can come and go in and out as often as they want or need.

We have a large fenced yard with 360 degree cameras and live in a quiet neighborhood. My dog, Logan, the Chiweenie was with me the whole time I volunteered for Mikey’s Chance so he’s friendly and able to be around small to large dogs. Our others have been socialized and are always welcoming to all guest dogs. I have worked with high risk dogs needing medication and constant care to dogs that were not potty trained to dogs who were sleepers. The whole spectrum of dogs and their needs were my responsibility.

Informations que Robert H. aimerait connaître au sujet de votre animal domestique
I prefer small dogs. I am not worried about medical issues, but please be aware the price will be adjusted by Rover for extra care. I have had blind dogs, deaf dogs, diabetic dogs and a variety of additional care needed for some of the dogs I have watched.
Une journée type
A typical day is wake up and make sure all the dogs get outside to play in good weather and have a good potty break. All dogs have access outside at all times with a dog door. We also accommodate doggie playtime, and will set up our doggy pool if your dogs enjoy water and the weather is appropriate. Playing fetch in our big backyard is also a favorite activity. We’ve been told multiple times that our guest pups often will need to catch up on rest, because they are engaged and very active during their stay with us.

Friendly Home and Proud Dog Owners
Expérience en matière de services dédiés aux animaux de compagnie
One thing that sets me aside from other pet sitters is I used to volunteer for Mikey’s Chance and had the opportunity to board both dogs and cats of all ages and stages of life. I take care of all my dogs, and always make sure their every need is met. Whether it’s new toys, or our doggie advent calendar, our dogs never have to question if they are loved. They are more than pets, they are family! We have quite a diverse pack with their different breeds and personalities. Dog sitting all started out as a way to make a few extra dollars, but now has became a lifestyle and I feel that it has taught me how to be the best dog caregiver and dog dad. On off times it feels strange when we don’t have extra fur friends running around with our pack.

Great, attentive sitter. My older dog was very well taken care of and the picture and text updates of her stay were a really nice addition. Definitely will use their services again

Review by Bodhi (typed with my nose while my humans weren’t looking): Hello. My name is Bodhi, and I have a confession: I may love Robert and his family more than my own humans. Every time we pull onto Robert’s street, I completely forget who fed me, who pays my vet bills, and who lets me sleep on the couch. Loyalty goes right out the window. My humans become my Uber drivers, and Robert’s house becomes my final destination. Let’s talk about the backyard. Calling it a backyard is like calling Yellowstone a campground. It’s a canine paradise. There are things to sniff, places to run, dogs to wrestle, and enough space to achieve maximum zoomie velocity without violating local speed limits. Then there are the resident dogs. Four of them. FOUR. Every stay is basically a multi-day dog festival with an excellent social calendar and no mandatory naps. The biggest problem with staying at Robert’s house is that eventually my humans come back. Every single time. Just when I’ve settled into my new life and accepted my role in Robert’s pack, these people show up claiming they’re my family and it’s time to leave. Frankly, it’s disappointing. Robert and his family are the kind of people who don’t just watch dogs—they genuinely love them. They treat me like family, spoil me appropriately, and somehow send me home happy, tired, and smelling like I’ve had the greatest adventure of my life. Five stars. Would absolutely recommend. One star deducted from my humans for picking me up. 🐾 Bodhi Formerly Joel & Jessie’s dog, currently considering other opportunities.

Robert & his wife were absolutely amazing! My younger dog got injured during the stay & they were incredibly caring, attentive, and willing to make sure she was okay and comfortable. I truly appreciated the extra care and communication. Fantastic people!

We couldn't have been happier with the care our dog got. Communication was great from setting up the reservation to daily text updates while we were away.If you are looking for a dog sitter definitely give Robert a call.
