About: I've pet and house sat for friends and family since I was 15 and have experience with every size and age of dog and cat. I have experience with giving animals any special medication or any other needs that they may require. ☺️ I only have one class at school per week so I am pretty available for any schedule that your pet may need. I am happy to work with your pets needs in any way! My previous clients usually needed me for house sitting as well as pet sitting so I have no problem staying over night or just dropping in on your pets throughout the day. I am very keen on following your pets schedule! Routine is key!
“Barb was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond to make sure our fur babies were happy and comfortable while we were away. We have a 17 year Yorkie who mostly sleeps and she somehow managed to convince him to eat twice a day which is no small feat! She also checked on him often and gently petting him in his bed to make sure he was okay or would bring him to the couch as he sleeps by her side. Barb read our pet sitting instructions carefully and followed them exactly. She was always on time, incredibly attentive, loving, and truly reliable - we couldn't ask for a better sitter💕. Highly recommend!"”

“We Have used Ysobel a couple times now, my dogs love her and we are very happy with the service she provides. Such a sweet girl and you can tell she loves animals. :)”

“Marsha is amazing. She sends so many fantastic pictures and updates and when you have a puppy it's wicked helpful. Our dogs were clearly really well loved and played out which is great. We are thankful to have had Marsha watch our dogs for a long weekend!”

“Sirene was wonderful to work with! She was punctual for our meet and great, and took great care of my dog! Sent updates throughout the booking and was easy to communicate with! Absolutely would use again!”

“Arlin & Edgar were absolutely fantastic! Very communicative, provided many updates and pictures, and took my dog on so many excursions while I was gone so she wasn’t stuck at home. Would definitely use again and felt very at ease leaving my dog in their care.”

“So unfortunately Haley was unable to unlock front door with my house key. She was very sorry, and tried many times I guess. I should have explained its abit tricky, as you have to pull in as you turn. Anyways, she seems amazing, and will use her in future.”

“This is our second time using Cesilia and we will definitely use her again! She is so friendly, and so communicative. We felt so confident leaving our dogs with her, and we came home to happy dogs and a spotless home. She is highly recommended!”

“Rachel was absolutely wonderful! She came for a meet and greet with dog, Lyra and Lyra loved her. She was very communicative and sent pictures every day. Highly recommend.”

“Sariah came and stayed with our two older dogs for several days. Our shepherd has heart issues, so we wanted to find someone who would know how to handle multiple medications, as well as observe him for behavioral changes that might signal a change in his condition. We hit the jackpot with Sariah. She has lived a lifetime of caring for pets with much more complicated medical issues than what we were asking of her. She came before the booking to meet with us and our dogs, and I knew immediately that they would be in good hands. We had regular check-in's the first couple of days, and she was quick to respond to each question via text. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I’ve been a trusted pet-sitter since I was 11. I have experience volunteering at TROT with my high school’s National Honor Society. As a valedictorian, I am responsible and trustworthy to handle your pets with the utmost love and care! I recently graduated from high school and have no restrictive schedule thanks to summer break! I’m available Wednesday-Sunday at any hours, while Monday-Tuesday I am available from 8am-2pm, and 5pm-10pm! I am able to drive myself anywhere in the Tri-Cities to care for your animals at home. I have a fenced yard and two kitties who love playtime, but can be put away in a room if needed!
“Debbie was great! Great communication, photos, and my dog seemed to really like her. My dogs were happy and healthy when we returned. She also watered all my outside flowers while I was away.”

“Briana is a responsible, reliable and respectful person. She watched our pup while we were out of town. She followed our guidelines we provided to her on caring for our dog as well as watching over our house. She was great at providing daily updates to ensure our dog was okay. She kept our house clean and tidy.”

“Loved working with Kaylee. Our dog can be destructive when we’re gone and she spent lots of time loving on him. She sent pictures and texts so we could see how it was going. She asked questions if she needed more info on Joey’s routines. And she remembered to water the plants and bring in the mail and the garbage cans. Definitely recommend!”

About: Back when I was a kid, my family owned a cattery that I helped take care of. We owned 32 cats and 1 dog at one time. Growing up, I learned how to truly take care of animals, helping deliver kittens during birth, bottle feeding, and training them to be tolerant, friendly, handleable, and able to take walks on a harness and leash. I've had many different pets since then, including a snake, fish, and cats of my own. I've always loved animals of all kinds and I've had a unique kinship with almost every animal I meet. I commonly hear "They're usually not this friendly" around new pets I meet, and at parties and other events, I'm usually found petting the dog on the floor somewhere. Since then, I've been helping my friend with their dog sitting business and decided to venture forth on my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently in between positions, so I have complete and open availability to help take care of your pets. If you have a special needs pet, I can work with you to provide more intensive care. I want to learn more about how you treat your pets so I can provide the same loving environment that they are used to. I'd love to be your pet-parent substitute.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West Pasco
Our pet sitter was fantastic! Barbara did a meet & greet with us beforehand and she was very understanding & patient with all my questions & concerns. She was very punctual and took amazing care of my dog, giving him lots of attention & his favorite treats. I was a bit worried about leaving my pet with someone new, but she completely put my mind at ease. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable & caring pet sitter.

Absolutely wonderful with my older-anxious-disabled dog! Michelle sent proactive updates and daily photos of Sway and both kitties - I had no doubts I would come home to happy pets because my dog lovedddd Michelle when they first met. The house was also spotless as a perk! 10/10 recommend.

Wow! Faith was like hiring myself to take care of my dogs and my home only She was better than me! Waaaayyy exceeded my most hopeful expectations. I might even check her schedule before I book my next getaway. She is a conscious adult. My dogs are very happy and well exercised. My home is perfect. This is a thing that gives me great anxiety. I LOVE my dogs! Faith did too! Again...Wow! I am happy to give an in person review for anyone who might be concerned. I don't know if that is possible on this app. She is an AllStar Human Being.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in West Pasco on Rover is $37.74 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred West Pasco walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in West Pasco maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Pasco choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
