These days, I actually spend most of my time at home, which allows me to truly focus on animal care as my work -- a true passion of mine. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something that genuinely grounds and fulfills me. I plan my days around the pets I look after, making sure their needs, routines, and comforts always come first. Animals bring such a calm and purpose to my day, and in return, I strive to do everything I can to make them feel safe, seen, and loved while their people are away.

First, (if possible) I think it is so important to set up an inital meet and greet prior to me caring for your pet alone. This just helps establish a sense of trust and familiarity as well as allow both of us to see if the care your require and the care I can provide are a good fit! Then, when I visit your home, I treat it — and your pets — with the utmost respect. I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s usual routines, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved! During drop-ins, I’ll check in on meals, potty breaks, playtime, and snuggles, and provide updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. For overnight stays, I create a calm and attentive environment, keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible (giving meds and supplements as needed) and providing companionship, care, and reassurance throughout the stay. If you prefer your pet crated at night, I will do that, or I'm happy to have them join me in bed and snuggle at night -- whatever helps you and them feel most comfortable and at home!

Additionally, please kindly let me know about any past medical history that may affect your pet while in my care as well as allergies, dietary restrictions, their dislikes and likes, and any other quirks or information you'd like for me to know! You know your pet best, so I also encourage sharing any sort of helpful tips or tricks to help foster a sense of trust between your animal and me!
A typical day
I love hanging out with pets, so we’ll spend plenty of time getting to know each other and figuring out what makes them happiest! Whether it’s a game of fetch, a nice little walk, tug-of-war, or using fun ribbon teasers with your kitties, I enjoy interactive play that keeps them engaged and having fun. Of course, I also love giving cuddles, belly rubs, and snuggles for pets who prefer calm, cozy time — whatever makes your fur babe feel safe and loved.

What sets me apart isn’t just my almost 20 years of experience as I grew up with and around animals or my background working in a vet clinic — where I learned to stay calm, confident, and compassionate in all kinds of situations involving beloved animals — but who I am to my core. I’ve faced much hardship and loss throughout my life, and I know because of that, I always bring a deep sense of empathy, an open mind and unique perspective, and a heart full of compassion to every person (and animal) I meet. I really don’t just watch your pets — I connect with them. I take time to truly see and listen to both your pet and you, because every animal (and every pet parent!) deserves to feel seen and have their own routines, quirks, and comforts honored. My own pups — including my wheelchair pup, Beau and my sassy mini dachshund, Rain! — have taught me so much about patience, adaptability, and unconditional love as well. With me, you’ll gain not only a trusted sitter, but a genuine friend who will show up for you and your pet(s), sharing photo updates and fun snapshots along the way as I’m a professional photographer, too! Isabella has cared for our cats many times. At one point we had 5 cats including a Bengal who was suffering from long-term effects of a tritrichomonas infection (he had unrelenting diarrhea) who was on a special diet, and needed extra work to clean multiple litter boxes. She did a great job of keeping things clean for him and for the other cats in our home. One of our cats became diabetic, and Isabella quickly learned how to give him his insulin shots twice a day, and to monitor his food intake to be certain that he stayed balanced between insulin and caloric intake. She left our house as clean or cleaner than it was when her pet sitting began each time, and was completely reliable. I offer my highest recommendation on her behalf. She cares for a special needs dog herself and has experience far beyond most pet sitters.
Bella worked with my animals for a couple years when we were out of town. She stayed in our home and took great care of our dogs, cats and chickens. She is very attentive. She is clean and organized. I would continue to hire her if she still lived in my area. I recommend her with 100% confidence to take care of your animals too.
I can't recommend Bella enough! While she hasn’t personally watched my dog, she’s house-sat for me and took such wonderful care of my place. Everything was tidy, cared for, and she even left a thoughtful, heartfelt note after her stay. I felt completely at ease knowing she was there. I have known Bella for years and can absolutely vouch for her character and reliability. She is one of the most genuine, trustworthy people I know and has a huge heart for animals. Her own pupper has had unique medical issues, so she has first-hand experience providing attentive, specialized care—including administering medication. Bella is attentive to detail, honest about what she can and can't do, and always keeps you updated. She asks great questions, communicates clearly, and makes sure you feel confident about your pets and home while you’re away.
