I will be using her again for sure!!!!”

About: I've pet and house sat for friends and family since I was 15 and have experience with every size and age of dog and cat. I have experience with giving animals any special medication or any other needs that they may require. ☺️ I only have one class at school per week so I am pretty available for any schedule that your pet may need. I am happy to work with your pets needs in any way! My previous clients usually needed me for house sitting as well as pet sitting so I have no problem staying over night or just dropping in on your pets throughout the day. I am very keen on following your pets schedule! Routine is key!

About: I've been providing reliable pet care for my mom's friend's dog for the past couple of years, giving me hands-on experience with daily feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. In addition, I completed the Pre-Vet Tech Program at Tri-Tech Skills Center, where I gained experience caring for a variety of animals. Through the program, I learned proper animal handling, health and safety practices, basic animal care, and the importance of recognizing signs of stress or illness in different species. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention they deserve. I'm available for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy spending time with animals and can adapt my schedule to meet each pet's individual needs and routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow the owner's instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and potty breaks. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and comfort levels. I also keep the home clean, ensure pets always have fresh water, and provide updates with photos and messages so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for while they're away.
“Very happy to use Marsha to stay with our dogs. She communicated very well. And not only lots of pictures but great pictures of our puppies. We recommend Marsha very highly to watch your pets.”

“Sirene was wonderful to work with! She was punctual for our meet and great, and took great care of my dog! Sent updates throughout the booking and was easy to communicate with! Absolutely would use again!”

“Briana did amazing. She went above and beyond for my pups. One had recent surgery for a CCL and weighs 60 pounds, and I was surprised to see her carrying up and down the stairs (3 flights) the entire weekend I was gone. Was not expecting that. Definitely would recommend and will be using her in the future!”

About: I’ve been a trusted pet-sitter since I was 11. I have experience volunteering at TROT with my high school’s National Honor Society. As a valedictorian, I am responsible and trustworthy to handle your pets with the utmost love and care! I recently graduated from high school and have no restrictive schedule thanks to summer break! I’m available Wednesday-Sunday at any hours, while Monday-Tuesday I am available from 8am-2pm, and 5pm-10pm! I am able to drive myself anywhere in the Tri-Cities to care for your animals at home. I have a fenced yard and two kitties who love playtime, but can be put away in a room if needed!
“Kaylee was a big help to us. She agreed to the sitting on short notice and that enabled us to attend a funeral in Taiwan. The house was kept in good condition - she washed the sheets and towels, as well as the dishes. Chloe is a rescue pup with anxiety issues, and Kaylee was able to help her deal with our absence.”

“Rachel was absolutely wonderful! She came for a meet and greet with dog, Lyra and Lyra loved her. She was very communicative and sent pictures every day. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, my mother and I had ran a rescue up until four years ago and even then we still took in animals to help Fuzzball animal rescue, I love taking care of animals and have my entire life from rescues to my own animals! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups, and kitties. I enter college in the fall and know my schedule will still allow for me to take care of animals so if you are looking for maybe even a permanent dog walker, pet sitter or anything I am available! My house has always had animals, from cats, ferrets, Guinea pigs, turtles, chickens, cows, dogs, chinchillas, and at once our most amount of rescues we had was 104 Guinea pigs, and getting them adopted was my favorite part, to see them all go to loving homes.

About: I have helped with cats since I was young, my siblings and I used to tame the cats at my grandmas house. My parents dog is 10 and I did all her training, just the basics, we got her when I was 10 but I took her for walks, got her to walk on a leash without pulling me. Currently I have a 3 almost 4 year old dog who is my best friend, I have trained him with more tricks, shake, lay down, etc. I work part time, and have Fridays and Saturdays officially off. My schedule is very open for caring for others pets, my availability is more in the morning or lat in the evening. I can travel to you to care for your pet, I am willing to walk them or give them any in home care they may need.
“We left Royal for nine days with Kirk. That's a long time, and I was a bit apprehensive. But Kirk arrived in plenty of time to put me at ease and Royal loves him. He sent photos and videos everyday, gave me some updates, and was very neat. He has a lot of 5 star reviews for a reason. It's a huge relief to have someone so trustworthy and excellent with Royal. Thanks Kirk!”

“This is the first time I have used Rover because for many years we have had our friends available to us, until this trip. I found it to be a really easy process and without it, we never would have found Faith! I am so thankful! Faith is amazing! Our "boys" loved her right away! She followed my instructions, and was able to get one our dogs to do something we have a hard time doing ourselves! This demonstrated the trust he had in Faith immediately. If you are looking for a trustworthy, dependable, kind, and loving sitter for your fur babies in your home, then I highly recommend you hire Faith!! You will be very happy you did!”

“She did a great job with my senior dog Muffintop. She saved us short notice and was so accommodating to our needs. I received picture updates regularly and felt like she was really there to take care of Muffin so she wouldn’t be alone while we were away. Great communication, so friendly.”

FAQs for House Sitting - Burbank
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 266 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Burbank. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Burbank walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Burbank maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Burbank choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Burbank. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
