I’ve recently finished my student teaching and have just graduated college! While I wait for my teaching certificate to be issued, I will have all of the free time in the world to spend with your fur-babies! Once it is issued, I will be working as a substitute teacher during most days, so my time will be more limited, but I will still be available on weekends all day and in the evenings.

To ensure your pets' safety, I will be remaining in the same room as them at all times unless instructed otherwise! Indoors and outdoors. I understand, however, that you know your pets and their needs best, so I make adjustments as is necessary.
Information Anessa A. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know your pet’s daily routine (however simple or complicated), personality, medical needs, and any triggers or fears they may have. I also like to know how they do on walks, if they get along with other animals, and what comforts them when they’re anxious. The more I know, the better I can care for them like you would! LATE BOOKINGS: While I usually require 3 days advance notice before bookings, I do still accept requests after that deadline! However, there is a $15 late fee added per day. SHORT STAYS: For any stays that are less than 24 hours, there will be an increased charge of $20, plus an additional $10 per extra dog. However, depending on the circumstances, I am willing to discuss this number.
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and outdoor walks (or window watching for cats!). I follow your pet’s routine, give lots of love, and keep them active and comfortable. Whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or quiet cuddle time, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with cats and extensive hands-on care for dogs at every life stage. I’ve raised and trained energetic puppies, helped with housebreaking, basic obedience, and leash manners. I’ve also provided compassionate care for senior dogs, including administering medications and accommodating mobility or health needs. With 23 years of living with cats, I deeply understand their behaviors, body language, and how to build trust—especially with shy or independent kitties. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or quiet companionship, I bring patience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every visit.

Anessa was awesome for our dog/house sitting over the holiday weekend. She was available last minute and when we came home our dogs were so happy, healthy and worn out from hanging out with her. She left our home in awesome condition and she was so communicative with me the whole time. I would recommend her and will def use her again.
