Hi!! My name is Kaylie <3
I currently have one pet of my own, he is a bicolored Tabby cat named Juice! I’m really excited to use this app as a way to give some love and attention to pets with just the bonus of making some side money :) I live in a very nice area with a doggy park and plenty of trails and places to walk! I go on walks all the time here. I’ve had family pets my entire life and have had my own to take care of by myself so I feel I’m qualified to take on this responsibility. I started Rover around 4 years ago while living in NYC and dog sat nearly every weekend! I’ve had experience with all sorts of pets. From big dogs to small, chill to playful, old to young, etc. I’ve sat multiple dogs at the same time, cared for a deaf puppy, another puppy with a strict schedule who ate specific meals and took medications, and I’ve also sat a cat! My biggest thing is just going to be communication for the animals needs and the owners preferences, so I can do the job successfully. By that I mean what time the animal eats, how much they eat, how often they need to go potty, things the animal likes/dislikes, any concerns the owner has, etc. really just anything the owner thinks is important to know!

I like to make pets that I care for feel at home. They’re always allowed on furniture, they get plenty of love and play time. I love practicing tricks with treats and going on walks in my neighborhood. As for caring for an animal in the clients home, I care for the pet in a clients home just the same as I would my own, with of course the added respect to the clients home. I like to keep a moto of “leave it better than how you found it”.

Kaylie came through on a last minute request. I appreciated the communication and pictures while she was taking care of my dog!
Kaylie was great with my dog Boss. Took him out on his walks and kept him company. She even cleaned my place before she left. I would definitely recommend Kaylie.
Kaylie was great with my reactive little chiweenie, Finn. He is slow to warm up to new people but very soon after leaving I received a picture of Finn on her lap which put me at ease. She was super flexible when my flight got delayed and stayed later than what we originally planned on. Thank you Kaylie!!
Kaylie is always the best with our pups and house!
Kaylie was excellent sitter to Winter. She gave him time to settle with her and then took him on walks. She made a point to regularly send pictures and updates on him. Thank you Kaylie for taking good care of Winter

Schedule
Very recently I received a new job offer where I’ll be starting work at 4am and ending around noon ish. From this point forward I won’t be able to care for any animals that cannot be left alone for the length of a work shift, but if they can then I’m still excited to pet/house sit and care for animals in my free time!
