“Carol is outstanding. She is the perfect dog sitter for Ruby, my Chihuahua mix. Her experience with dogs shows in her handling and confidence with them. I highly recommend her. I was so glad to find her on Rover. Thanks again, Carol.”

“Our dog was super happy staying with Robert and family. Well definitely use them again. I really appreciated the updates and photos to show he was settling in. Robert was really responsive and accommodating.”

“Mariah's home was a great place for my pups. Mariah was attentive to the dogs and communicative with me throughout the stay. I'll certainly reach out when I'm in need again!”

“Abby stayed with Dawn for 6 days, and we got daily reports. We appreciate the fact that Dawn always seems so calm, and is clearly a big dog-lover. And we know Abby got comfortable at Dawn's house, because she just didn't seem that excited to be back home! We definitely recommend Dawn to anyone with a spoiled, quirky dog that needs lots of loving attention!”

About: I’ve cared and watched dogs and cats for several years, including drop-in services, house sitting and boarding. I have also owned cats and dogs almost my entire life and love spending time around them. I work full time, but have summers and holidays off and free every weekend. During summers and weekends I can do several drop ins as well as sit for several days in a row. I have a large fenced back yard where dogs can run, I don’t currently have any pets of my own so the dog or cat will get 100% of the attention. If watching at your home, being respectful of the home, cleaning up after the pet and myself if any messes, leaving the home just as when I first entered.
“Ally is absolutely amazing! I had to take my dog to the emergency vet the week before I dropped him off for boarding and Ally was fantastic managing his needs from giving pills and monitoring wounds to keeping me updated.”

“We were very happy to have Renae watch our pup and love on him. We really relaxed on our vacation knowing that Buddy was in good hands. We will definitely have Renae watch our Buddy in the future.”

About: Pets have always brought me a lot of happiness, and that's why I love to help take care of them. Until recently, I have always had a dog to take care of in my life, and now I'd love to look after yours! :) Helping dogs exercise, making sure they are loved, clean and happy are very important to me. Dogs put so much good into this world, so they deserve all the love we can possibly give them! Also I love cats! Waking up and making sure your furry friend is fed, given morning pets, and a walk if needed. We can play and have fun during the day and make sure we get to bed at a good time. Keeping on careful eye on your pet is very important to me! Also I genuinely enjoy the company of animals so there will be lots of hanging out, playing & potty breaks. I keep my space very clean & pet friendly.
About: I have one dog, Luna, and I have experience taking care of her, also other dogs I have watched from my siblings Rover. I am caring and kind. I have plenty of time for it. Right now I am at home transferring out of doing a church mission. I am excited to start pet sitting! I treat them like I would my own dog Luna, and I respect them and make sure their needs are taken care of. I make sure they are safe as well.
“Nicole took such good care of Wallace while we were away! He had plenty of room to run and play with the other dogs, and the creek was a big bonus during the heat wave. He came home healthy and happy.”

About: I've taken care of animals since around the age of 10. I have taken fear free courses through the Benton County Humane society and have experience training dogs as well. I'm currently working from home and have a small fenced yard. My furbaby is 8 years old, around 70 pounds and gets along well with everyone. I have dogsat for my parents and brother at the same time, totaling 6 dogs one weekend... which was a lot. Dogs are welcome on beds and furniture in my home, I would just appreciate them to be potty trained.
“Tiffany took great care of my fur babies. She is caring and sent pictures with updates, which is always giving me a peace of mind. She was able to take them on a longer walk, which I know my dogs love the most.”

“Adelita had great communication prior to dropping our 2 dogs off with her. She wanted to make sure she had all the right stuff for them. She even stayed calm when one of my dogs pooped on her floor as soon as he got in her place! (Usually doesn't happen but it was a long car ride and he chose sniffing when he was outside the car instead of pooping). Great rates and care for my two 80 lb dogs. I would definitely book Adelita again.”

“Great communication and my dog was happier than he’s ever been, picking him up from a sitter who’s not a friend. He was energized and went back to give her some loves before we left. The farm is such a peaceful oasis for your furry family members.”

“Adina took amazing care of our dog!Adina will always be our first choice!! She was very attentive & loving to our dog!! Adina was very prompt, friendly& has excellent communication & sent photos.I strongly recommend Adina to anyone in the area looking for peace of mind & over the top trustworthy person to care for your precious pet!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Two Rivers
Lari and Valerie were wonderful while I was out of state for a week. My two dogs had a marvelous time on their farm vacation and were happy and settled when I picked them up. I got picture and video updates of all their adventures every day and they were always super responsive when I texted. I will defiantly be contacting them to watch my dogs if I go out of town again.
Their communication is superb!! Tons of photos and communication about how my Ammo was doing- it makes me feel so comforted while I am away. Ammo is treated like family!! They truly love what they do and they love on your fur baby!!! This is my second booking and there will certainly be more!!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Two Rivers home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Two Rivers.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Two Rivers sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
